I loved reading about the 5 Ford brothers. They are wealthy and attractive.
This story is so well written that the characters come alive. Dalton comes to Amelia’s aid and offers comfort one stormy night. Some months later they meet as neighbors through Dalton’s dog. They become supportive and loving friends. Dalton offers her comfort and a safe place to stay after her husband dies. Dalton shows Amelia what a real loving relationship truly is. Their happily ever after is the best so far in this series.
Dalton & Amelia’s story will grab you from the beginning. Their story is so intense and they go through so much individually and together. This is a standalone, but I have read the previous three and this one may be my favorite. You will fall in love with the Ford Brothers and Sandra gives you stories you won’t soon forget.

This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.
This was a long book that was really good. Her ex was a not a nice person. He was very selfish when it came to her needs. He made sure that she had what she needed but ignored her even in death. I’m not surprised she fell for Dalton. He gave her what she wanted the most. Love, attention and a family.

This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Sandra Alex; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

This series is great but I do have to say that I personally love Dalton. His love for Amelia is breathtaking. He is there for her through the worst times of her life and through it all the best love either of them ever knew. Aaron did her wrong for so many years and Dalton showed her the right way to be loved and cherished. Yes it is a long book, but it is so worth the length. Sandra has so much detail she puts in her books that you are never kept questioning anything. I cant’t wait to read Jack’s book now.

I was hooked by the emotions in this story. I felt like I was on a journey with these characters that was filled with sorrow yet uplifting and joyful at the same time. I loved Dalton immediately and came to love Amelia by the end of the story. A wonderfully fulfilling and enjoyable story.
This is the fourth book in the Ford Brothers series. Each book is it’s own story but I would recommend reading them all. This is Dalton’s story. He happens s to be in the right place at the right time to help out a stranger and probably saved his life. His wife, Amelia is grateful. They were high school sweethearts. Their life together though is not what they imagine it to be and Amelia is second guessing things. Dalton and Amelia become friends and offer one another some tough advice. As they develop their friendship so do other feelings. Can they walk the friendship line? When disaster strikes, can they pick up the pieces? A great story line that flows smoothly. This book contains alot of ups and downs as Amelia and Dalton navigate their friendship to much more. Enjoy!

This is the the perfect romance explaining how love comes in all shapes and forms and when you least expect it. Especially when the lines between friendship and more are blurred.

This story is so intense. I have cried at so many things that happen in the story. The love she feels for her husband, only to be pushed back into the background. Dealing with his paralysis, she is a lot stronger than many would be, especially with how he treats her. With dalton being a new friend, it’s good for her and helps her discover herself, but there’s feelings there she neater expected and doesn’t want to allow herself to feel. With everything that happens when she’s sick, I’m honestly surprised she pulled herself together, but again, if it wasn’t for dalton, she may not have.
Aaron and Amelia were high school sweethearts who married in college. But the spark is gone – she wants kids, he doesn’t, and he spends all his time building and running his business. He has an accident, and is now paralyzed. Dalton and Kathy have been together for a few months. He’s the CEO of his family’s airline. She’s newly divorced and a dermatologist. But she’s not really either of those things, and her dishonesty has Dalton calling it quits on them. They all live in the same neighborhood. Amelia and Dalton become friends, initially because his dog is just too cute. When Aaron dies due to complications from surgery, Amelia’s left all alone. With so much room in his big house, Dalton invites her to stay with him until she can figure out where her life is headed. This book is absolutely wonderful. When I ready the blurb, this looked like an interesting book. It is so much better than I expected. Dalton and Amelia have unbelievable chemistry, and although they’re just friends, they are sizzling under the surface. It’s just a beautiful story, I so enjoyed their journey to their happily ever after. This is my first read from this author, and I’m looking forward to more from her.

Amelia married her high school sweetie. Though her marriage with Aaron was dead, she felt she needed to stay, deep down she still loved him. Aaron was a workaholic and drunk. One rainy night changed their lives, he got in an accident leaving him paralyzed and forced the couple to move into his moms home since it was handicap accessible. While taking her daily walks, Amelia would run into her neighbor Dalton. Never putting two and two together he was the guy from the accident that helped pull Aaron from the bay. The more time they spent together, the closer they became. Aaron found a doctor willing to do surgery but had complications from it. When Amelia landed sick and could not visit the hospital, Dalton went running looking for her. He helped her get thru Aaron’s death and became a very close friend helping her amend her health as well. Amelia never felt more alive with Dalton than she has in awhile. She fit in with the Ford family and when Dalton realized she was the one, he held on to her right.
Aaron Price is the CEO of a huge packaging company. He has been getting pressure from environmental groups and his team has a big meeting coming up. They meet the night before to discuss it, and he stays afterward, drinking an entire bottle of vodka. His wife, Amelia, has been trying to reach him, but he doesn’t take calls and hasn’t checked her messages, which only state to call her. So as he finally heads home in the awful rain storm, Amelia calls him again. Since he is almost home, he wants to know what she wants now. Her news that his mother, whom he is close to, has died upsets him. His tires were slipping on the wet road, another vehicle came over the hill, and he lost control of his car.
Dalton Ford is the CEO of an airline that he and his brothers operate. On the night he helps to pull a man out of a wreckage during a powerful storm, his life is changed as it intersects with Amelia Price, the victim’s wife.
Amelia and Dalton become good friends. When Amelia’s husband dies from an infection complication related to his accident, Dalton is there for her. Will this change their friendship into something more?
