Two hotter-than-hell boyfriends to juggle, one merciless archangel who wants me dead, and then there’s Francis. I still don’t know what his deal is, and after that fateful night in the caves beneath the Academy, I’m not sure I want to know. Everything around me is changing, but I’m the same. I’m still the only human. No powers, no special skills to speak of. Just a prophecy that says a human will … human will one day retire the most powerful Grim Reaper alive, but I doubt I’m the savior the supernatural world has been waiting for. If I am, the implications are too horrible. Because this powerful being they’re afraid of… is my real father.
***Author’s Note: This is book 2 in the Grim Reaper Academy series, intended for mature audiences. Please be advised that it may contain situations that are triggering to some, profanity (way more than in my previous books!), and a lot of steam.

Second year starts out with a few surprises for our fair herione. Will this year prove to be as hard as the first or will she have more allies than enemies? It’s a fun RH paranormal-romance that has potential to go places.
I am a huge fan of book one, book two did not disappoint at all. The characters grew into themselves and developed more depth. The heroine, Mila, is still my favorite in the genre. The story is amazing and the series as a whole will be spectacular.

What just happened ? Valentine morningStar is a huge Douche canoe . He thinks quite highly of himself. When he’s never been there for anything. Everyone one gives in to him . They’re depending on his own teenage daughter to off him when nobody else is willing to stand up to him. I need the next book ASAP
Mila leaves Grim Reaper Academy for a brief visit home, and convinces her mom to tell her the truth about the woman who gave birth to her. After returning the school, Mila takes her relationship with Paz and GC to the next level. With the two young men as her protectors, the bullying has mostly stopped, unfortunately Mila’s life will be turned upside down when Valentine Morningstar shows up in one of her classes. When the news of her father’s identity becomes common knowledge, the majority of the students go from basically ignoring Mila, to wanting to be her friend. Or maybe they just don’t want to make an enemy of the most powerful Grim Reaper in history. Mila does her best to deal with the man that calls her his daughter, but she quickly realizes that she doesn’t like him, and she also knows that she absolutely can never trust him.
I think this is an exciting, sometimes funny, read with intriguing twists in the plot. I couldn’t put this page turner down, it’s sexy, complex and unique characters kept me fascinated. Fantastic book, I loved it!

I enjoyed reading this second book in this series, it has a great storyline. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for the next book. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Mila has one crazy year, especially after her father shows up and outs her. Now she has to deal with being popular & she doesn’t know how. Mila finds herself not liking herself very much & then her dad pulls off a stunt that wakes her up & she’s fighting mad.
I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for the next one. This book immediately pulls you in and will not let you go. You really see how Mila is growing as a character and wondering what is going to happen next. The villain is really comes out in this one and you can see that it is going to be a huge showdown eventually.

I was not sure that I would give this book 5 stars in the beginning but it got better as the book went on. The ending was amazing and I wished the book was longer, cant wait for the next one.

This book was crazy!! Oh my goodness Cars Wylde does an amazing job with this second book in the Reaper Academy. So Mila’s story continues and it is insane. She made some decisions and she needed answers. Unfortunately, those who have the answers for her really aren’t saying anything. Let me say the chemistry with GC and Paz is sizzling. Then you have Sariel and Francis, I feel like these two want more from her now since they are not bullying her. So something needs to happen soon with these two men as well. So Mila is doing well in her second year until someone shows up and she is on edge. This person has a major impact on her that she is still trying to get a grip on. There are so many intense moments that put you in edge that I felt like in was on a rollercoaster. You definitely need to read this book. I cannot wait for book 3.

Mila is still trying to find herself and her place in Grim Reaper Academy in Book 2 in this series. Add to that two boyfriends, a father turning up. a pixie ad changes in her fortune. Things are certainly heating up throughout this book especially with her guys. Blimey they are hot!!! Book 2 in this series is just as good as Book 1. A pleasure to read
Picks up after book 1. Mila can’t keep her father a secret from her best friends or her 2 amazing boyfriends, but she is hoping to keep it quiet around the rest of school. Things have changed quite a bit since the beginning of last year, and mostly for the better. Then her world gets blown up by her father. There are a couple of very interesting field trips, and so much more. My favorite line is from Paz’s mom! Can’t wait to read the next book!!
Slaying Year Two was somewhat very interesting and a much needed book for Mila’s developpement. Gone the amazing heroine I fell in love with in the first book, gone the strong, driven, grateful and determined character.
In Slaying Year Two, Mila is put in the spotlight and in shoes she dreamed of wearing a lifetime ago. The time when she had nothing, not even love for herself, the time when she was poor, alone, scared and did not know what it was to have a meaning.
With the revelation of her lineage made public to the whole school, Mila becomes overnight the rising star of Grim Reaper Academy, the popular girl, the one everybody wants to be friend with and follow around. She does not want the attention but is put into the spotlight nonetheless and while she might attend a school for immortal, everybody there never really matured past their teenager years and the drama goes to her head.
Mila makes mistakes, more than once. Mistakes the Mila 1.0 would have never made but that Mila 2.0 cannot avoid. Mila 2.0 is self centered, Mila 2.0 can act like a bully to a certain extent, Mila 2.0 is too focused on her own little world to pay attention to her surrounding.
Mila 2.0 is not formidable, barely even likeable, but she is the one that will lead to Mila 3.0. And Mila 3.0? She’s coming and she will makes things right.
It was a bit complicated to really appreciate and enjoy the read with such a character development, although a really liked it. On the one hand, I could not stand her but on the other one, I couldn’t help to be sympathetic towards her. Mila 2.0 was not by a long shot amazing but she was manipulated into a role she never asked for. It just wasn’t her. And the book ended on a fantastic note, I cannot wait to read the next one!
