It was a very good book love it
Slayer & Wendy are finally getting their day but it begins in the most unexpected way when a guest lands on the doorstep of the MC clubhouse . The personal lives take front and center here but we are also given the excitement of the drama that surrounds the club. They are now thrown together and find so many common bonds but the most important are the love of family, a child and a wonderful woman. they had great chemistry and I loved their witty sarcastic banter !!!

So you can bet your chickens that I dived straight into this book as soon the arc hit my kindle. I was not disappointed.
I loved this book, it threw a curve ball and damn I was living for it. Finding out Slayer has a daughter is a shock to everyone except Adley who seems to have all the answers Slayer needed. I do that between all of this Nickel manages to get enjoyment of Slayer finding out he’s a dad. I must say when Adley is dropped at the clubhouse I can’t believe her auntie just let her with a bunch of guys at an MC house like hello you don’t even know this guy you’re leaving your niece with.
Wendy and Slayer have been dancing ever since Freak’s book when he was forced to watch over her and damn the dance they’ve been doing has been hilarious. Especially when they refuse to call each other the right name and I love that even as they get comfortable with each other the game continues until when they do finally call each other’s the right now it’s so bloody cute.
I love that Wrecker just accepts everything that happens now, especially when Wendy calls God her Homie. Wrecker doesn’t even question it especially when he’s with Alice and all the weird shit that comes from her. Also I cannot wait for the Wrecker and Alice baby to come.
I live for the humour between everyone. I just like the bond they all have with each other and you can tell that they accept each other and respect each other. Alice, Carnie and Wendy are so adorable with Adley.
The proposal was beautiful. It was definetely a them kind of thing and I love that Adley was so excited for them both and was just so happy for her dad and Wendy.
So a mother fucking twist in her was Brinks going missing but that wasn’t it. The fact that Brinks and Cora had been fucking and nobody in the clubhouse didn’t know! Like girl was not expecting that it slapped me right in the face but honestly I kind of think I’m going to love their book when it’s out. Their book has been set up so brilliantly. Also can’t believe Jenkins drove an SVU into the clubhouse like what a lunatic.
My thoughts when I finished this book ended along the lines of “holy shit. Omg. I need Brinks now.” I mean even now I’m still with that statement. I cannot wait for the next book. Wendy and Slayer were perfect and I loved their book and I also loved Adley.
Yes, I have been waiting for this book since I read book 7. Wendy has this lost soul about her that I just knew Slayer would help heal. Slayer just knew he needed a strong woman to bring him to his knees. Well in this book he got two.
Slayer and Wendy you see the banter between these two in book 7. Book 8 brings a whole new level of tension, banter, and love. Slayer has his life turned upside down with the arrival of his 12 year old daughter. One he didn’t know about and one he doesn’t know how to handle. When Adley gets attached to Wendy he does the only thing he can think of and asks her to stay with then. When Sparks fly and I mean Sparks Slayer will need to get his head on straight in order to get the girl before an old threat tries to take away his happily ever after.
Winter is one of my favorite authors. This series has been by far my favorite. I loved Slayer and Wendy from book 7. I laughed, I cried, and I was on the edge of my seat ignoring everything just to finish it.
Holy sh** balls. I loved Slayer and Wendi! I always thought Lo and Meg would be my faves, but these 2 are up there. With every book you write it gets better and better. You know how to put just enough love, hate and everything in between in a book. Once I started I couldn’t stop and then you had to go and leave us hanging!!! So I will love to hate you right now, but that is why you are such an amazing story teller. Thanks for keeping the story going!!! Your books are fantastic and I’m so happy I found them!!!
Go and get Slayer and get to reading you will love every word of it!!! Another 5 star book by Winter Travers!!!
Slayer and wendy!! Omg I couldn’t put this book down until I was done but when I finished it I wanted the next one because out how it ended!! Damnit winter! But seriously. Slayer and wendy are so amazing and I love their story. Adley is such a sweet girl and had a hard time but i love how much wendy helps her and she is so welcome.
I was pulled right back into the series with this book!
Slayer and Wendy love to get under each others skin. When Slayer has an unexpected surprise daughter show up on his doorstep, he doesn’t know what to do.
Wendy has a way with Adley and helps Slayer figure out how to balance the club and a daughter he didn’t know about.
I enjoyed their banter back and forth. Can’t wait to see what is next in this MC!
Slayer gets a surprise visit to the clubhouse and ends up asking Wendy for help. The couple are hilarious with their banter and name calling with each other. I enjoyed how their relationship developed over the course of the story. Hope to see more of this couple in the next book.
Slayer and Wendy will melt your heart and this story. After they get over there verbal jabs at each other and calling each other out of their name they really connect. Life for Slayer gets complicated when an unexpected guest shows up on the front doorstep of the clubhouse. When Wendy is about to leave to get back to her own life she gets roped into helping Slayer with his guest. There is big changes coming up for the clubhouse and Slayer and Wendy are at the forefront. Not only are their hearts in danger, physical danger comes stalking the clubhouse. Will the Fallen Lords come out on top of this latest disaster?
WOW!!! Winter has all of us out of our chairs with this one. But you’re going to have to read this book to find out why. Now, Slayer and Wendy, I wasn’t feeling the chemistry with them. One minute they thought they hated each other the next BAAM!! everything changed. Now don’t get me wrong I love the story and a big fan of the Lords, I just wish there was a little bit more between them. And like always Alice is a Hoot, that woman cracks me up.
I highly recommend this series.
** spoiler alert ** They get on like oil and water, but is there more to their arguing? Will they be able to work together through what life throws at them?
Absolutely loved Slayer and Wendy. I loved how these two were at constant battle, but when they finally realized what was in front of them, the have massive heat. Slayer definitely took what was thrown at him better than I think most would. I loved how Wendy had a huge heart and was passionate about those she loved. Great read!
Continuing to love this series – each book keeps getting better! I love that Winter Travers gives us a standalone plot for each set of characters but also gives us a continuous storyline that follows throughout the course of the series and books. I was so happy that Wendy got her HEA after what happened previously with her sister and how she got roped into it. Between Wendy and Slayer, I continuously laughed throughout reading this story because they were two of the most comical characters, and I loved the evolution from joking to realizing there was something there and developing a relationship. The surprise of a lifetime for Slayer, it was great how his daughter was really the catalyst for pushing him to go after Wendy because she was what he wanted. The end of this story had me on the edge of my seat and continued my obsession with the ongoing storyline. I can’t wait for the next book!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a short and sweet story, but with trouble on the horizon. I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what happened after ending of Freak.
I loved Slayer and Wendy together, they were thrown together because of circumstances and didn’t really get along. But it hid a lot between them.
I loved the dynamic between Slayer, Wendy and Adley.
I really can’t wait to hear what happens next.

Slayer was the eighth book in the Fallen Lords MC series by Winter Travers. The books feed off each other so should be read in order.
I enjoyed Slayer and Wendy in the previous books. Their bantering was hilarious and the fact they purposely called the other by any name but their own made it even better. Wendy was Carnie’s sister (book seven, Freak). They were in trouble and Lords were assigned to each of them – thus the close interaction between Slayer and Wendy.
In this book, Travers picked up exactly where Freak left off and focused on Slayer’s personal life while meshing Wendy into it. I enjoyed both characters as well as the storyline, but it was too rushed. I craved more. I wanted to experience more depth and development into their relationship and their daily lives. Additionally, an MC conflict was carried over as well and also needed more. It was a bridge to the next book, Brinks, and ended abruptly with a cliff hanger.
All in all, it was enjoyable and a great start to their story. I love the series and hopefully we’ll get more Slayer and Wendy as the series progresses.
Holy smokes! This is another amazing read in the Fallen Lords series! I love the chemistry that Slayer and Wendy have had and getting to spend more time with them with a little this and a little that thrown in was perfect. Of course now I’m sitting here, mouth open and checking the calendar for the next book. A must!
I really love this series and the characters. I was highly entertained and enjoyed Wendy and Slayer being together. Adley was a great addition. I felt like I didn’t actually get to know Slayer or Wendy that well and that is one reason it isn’t five stars for me. I wanted to know more about Wendy and Slayer as individuals buts also as a couple. It felt rushed with not that many emotions. I also really didn’t like the ending of the book (cliffhanger wise). I struggled on how to rate this due these mulitple different aspects. The story did keep my attention the whole time and that is why it is four stars and not three.
So good! I love Slayer and Wendy! Such strong characters and a wonderful storyline! I have never been disappointed by any of her books! Winter Travers is amazing and so is this series!
5 SLAYER STARS!! OMG….This book starts out with a bang and I was glued to every page. I love this series, every book is fast, captivating, sexiness, family and love. Slayer and Wendy are that couple you will never forget with all their banter back and forth. Winter Travers has done it again with crafty words….she is amazing. You will definitely want to read this book and series.

At the end of Freak, Slayer opens the door to the clubhouse to find a bouncing baby girl, well a twelve year old version anyways. After finding that surprise, Slayer gets Wendy to help out. Wendy and Slayer have a bit of a hate/hate relationship, but if you ask Wendy’s mom and aunt its just their chemistry that they have yet to act on. Will Slayer and Wendy act on that chemistry? Or will Wendy still leave and go home when everything has settled?
So, WOW, Winter Travers is seriously throwing us some shock factors here! Just when you think everything is going smooth BAM that was some curve ball! Ready for the next in the series, I give this 4 stars.

Slayer, Wendy and Adley have to find their way around their new normal when Adley is dropped on Slayer’s doorstop with a declaration of “you’re my daddy”. So far Wendy and Slayer seem to have a hate/hate relationship but once Adley takes a shining to Wendy she begrudgingly agrees to help Slayer out until Adley gets settled in and Slayer finds his feet as a parent. Will the two continue with their snarky interactions or will the close proximity bring out feelings that are more than hate, and might even be the opposite… love?
This was a quite fast paced story but a slow burn romance, and quite a few shocks thrown in. Whatever comes next should certainly be interesting and I give Slayer 4 stars.
Wow the drama just keeps unfolding and I love it .
Slayer was a great read and I love how Addy came into his life and rocked it to it’s core certainly put him on his toes but it also led him to Wendy and the happily ever after they all deserved . But like in all MC’s dramas not that far away and just when they least expect it all hell breaks lose . Looking forward to the next book in the series.
