Winter Travers is one of favorite authors to date. She always delivers humor, suspense, sexy time and creates amazing characters. A few remind me of a couple of my friends or at least some of the antics.
Slayer is another example of her talented writing. I have to say that the ending in this book killed me and I will be patiently waiting for the next book in the Fallen Lords MC series. If you have read this series….then Slayer is a must read if you haven’t experienced the Fallen Lords and their leading ladies then you are missing out!! Happy Reading!!
Slayer is book eight in the Fallen Lords MC series and recommend reading these in order. From a character perspective on coupling it can be read as a standalone; however, the MC story continues from each book and picks up where it left off in the last book. Oh my, the chuckles you endure with the no names that occur between Slayer/Wendy is hilarious! Speaking of which, this crazy MC girl club keeps you on your toes and the antics they continue to come up with make you laugh cause these MC men just shake their heads and don’t expect anything less when it comes to the girls. It lightens the MC load is the way I see it. HaHa
Just when you think all is right, BAM!, Winter Slays you with that ending, WTH! NO.NO.NO…can’t wait for how this plays out though. This story will have you hesitating answering the door next time you order pizza. Pizza delivery anyone?? HaHa If you haven’t Fallen yet for this series you will with this one!
This is the 8th book in this phenomenal series and is Slayer and Wendy’s turn. These two do not get off to the best start, but when Slayer finds himself with a surprise daughter, he desperately needs Wendy’s help. This is a well written flawless story which is sweet, humorous, entertaining, emotional and with witty banter which all had me captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all MC lovers you will never be disappointed by this gifted authors’ work.
You know when two people go so far out of their way to aggravate another. You gotta think they like each other. Wendy and Slayer are two adults but you swear they are two teenagers trying not to like each other. Slayer finds out he has a 12 year old daughter but no clue how to deal. Wendy steps in and its a twist like no other.
Five huge stars for Slayer and another fantastic addition to the Fallen Lords MC series!!
Wendy and Slayer have had a rocky relationship at best, both taking great pleasure in winding the other up. Then Slayer gets the shock of his life when a surprise visitor turns his world upside down!
Despite the friction between the two, Wendy steps in to support Slayer when he needs it most and what follows is just beautiful…..and hilarious! I mean, come on….Girl Gang?!! Can I be a member please?!!
But that ending….Holy crap, I think it took about 10 years off me!!
Oh wow. Seriously just like that Winter you ended this book
Slayer just found out that he was a father. And what did he know about raising a 12year old girl. So he asks the one person who rely doesn’t like him to move in with him and help him out
Wendy didn’t not like Slayer, maybe she just liked the back and forth banter between them. But she so can’t deny that he was definitely sexy. So she needs to decide if she wants to stay with Slayer and Adley or does she want to leave
This was another hit with this book and another awesome addition. I don’t think alot of readers will be happy wihh that ending, but then not a long wait for the next book. This author definitely knows how to keep you hooked from the beginning to end.
I absolutely freakin loved this latest book in the Fallen Lords MC series!!! Wendy and Slayer definitely got off on the wrong foot at first. Slayer hated the fact that he was in charge of Wendy and felt he was a babysitter. His attitude wasn’t the greatest and annoyed Wendy to no end. They made it a point to bicker at every chance they could, call each other weird names that started with the first letter of their name. It was quite humorous. All changes when a child appears at the clubhouse stating that she was Slayer’s daughter. He doesn’t quite know what to think or do, but when he sees that Wendy and his daughter Adley develop a bond…he begs Wendy to stay and be her nanny. The more time they spend together as a family, the more Wendy and Slayer start to see each other in a different way. I loved the way he was towards his girls…I absolutely swooned when he called Wendy sugar ::sigh::
The slow burn romance is perfect for them and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book to all and I can’t wait for the next book in this amazing series. Well done!!!
Wendy and Slayer are a enemies to friends romance. These two love to get under each other’s skin…til they are touching skin. When Slayer finds out he has a daughter, Wendy helps him navigate fatherhood. This slowburn romance is sweet and the ending will leave you breathless. Great read Winter Travers.
Slayer never expected to end up being a father, but that’s what happened when Adley was dropped off, the problem was Adley seems to like Wendy and Wendy hates him.
Wendy was glad see was leaving but Adley didn’t like the idea, Slayer thinks he has the perfect solution and after some convincing explaining he never hated her, just hated having to babysit her, Wendy agrees to it.
Everyone can see the sexual tension between Wendy and Slayer except them. They deny it and say everyone’s wrong, but soon they realise that they don’t hate each other, and sparks fly between them.
Just when Slayer thinks that him and Wendy may be on the same page, one of their brothers go missing and they have no idea why.
The ending I didn’t see coming can’t wait for the next book.
Slayer and Wendy didn’t get along (total understatement) but when he needs help she is the only one he calls on. When life totally explodes in his face, he realizes that what he put out is what he got back. I loved watching this total Alpha get his behind handed to him over and over. I love this series!
I absolutely loved this 8th book in the Fallen Lords MC series.
The story was very well written and full of action and surprises.
The couple had loads of great chemistry.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book from
an advanced reader copy.
Fantastic addition to the series. These books are just sooooo good. They have everything this reader loves in a good MC Romance: suspense, brotherhood, action, a bit of humor, and of course romance. Ms Travers has a gift when it comes to writing her storylines. She always draws me in and makes me feel like I am apart of the action/brotherhood. This is very true in Slayer. I felt all his shock, fright and love as his life gets turned upside down when he receives a surprise package at the clubhouse door – a 12 year old daughter that he knew nothing about. Of course, his brother are as helpless as he is when it comes to a kid and Slayer is clueless what to do. In walks the last person Slayer ever thought would help him, Wendy. His former charge who seems to hate talking to him let alone being around him.
This is a wonderful storyline full of surprises, laughter and craziness as well as thrilling action going on with the club. I can’t recommend this series and book enough. Giving only 5 stars simply doesn’t say enough. But since that is all I am allowed: 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for Slayer. Grab this series/book up asap, you won’t regret it.
The new book in The Fallen Lorda MC Series Slayer Book 8, Its a OMG this is fantastic. Slayer and Wendy what a story from the first word till the last it’s gripping. Packed full of action, chemistry, passion and romance. The ending is just like NO please NO but it keeps you In Suspense for Brinks story
Goodness, is story had me laughing so much. Slayer and Wendy had the best nicknames for one another and some of the antics from the other ladies was absolutely hilarious. Add in a surprise child, and the beautiful way Slayer accepted his new life and new found love for Wendy this book was perfection. Great story!
We have to say that we are really loving this series and Slayer and Wendy were some of the funniest couples we have read about in this series, and we just loved them together.
Slayer’s unexpected surprise gave him a reason to pursue the one woman he can’t get off his mind. Wendy and Slayers calling each other by anything but, their actual names was downright hilarious and had us chuckling throughout the entire story.
I have to say I loved the change we saw in Slayer and even when things were up in the air about stuff that needed figuring out he took to parenthood like a duck to water.
Wendy was just a sweetheart, and you could not help but, love her she was just a special kind of woman and a man who claimed as his own. I have to say we loved her crazy family as well as they had us laughing out loud to with their antics and advice on romance.
The sexual tension and the little snipes that went on between Slayer and Wendy was hot as hell!” You can say this was foreplay to them ! Lol
Overall it was a cute and sweet romance that happened to play out around the Christmas Holiday which made the story even more special and even sweeter, and we loved how three people who basically were strangers created this wonderful and loving family that they were all growing and learning to be just that and all at the same time.
One thing about this MC series and its characters is that you can’t help but, love them all as the all are all so love-able. The story not only had great characters it had more than a few surprises which just sweetened the pot as they say, and we loved that.
Another great addition to this ongoing series!
WOW!
Okay, so Slayer & Wendy started out in the last book when he’s assigned to keep her safe during Carnie’s trouble. They appear to not get along & keep coming up w/ creative wrong names for each other (my favorites are Wynona & Slim – LOL). That continues here, but Slayer gets a huge surprise & asks Wendy for help.
I love the way their relationship progresses – it’s quick, but so heartfelt & the bonding that happens w/ their little family… SWOON! They get a little steamy, but the focus is on building that family.
And THEN! Again, the overall story arc is just WOW & the end of the book is … I’m heading right into the final book, Brinks, because I have to know what happens!! : )
Slayer thought his job was done once Wendy was safe but when a delivery came to the clubhouse and she is the only person who can help him. He starts noticing more about her that he likes, as Wendy is noticing the same about Slayer. She was only supposed to be here temporary so what happens when an old threat comes knocking and changes everything. I loved this story, I loved how Wendy and Slayer weren’t head over heels about each other and they actually kind of disliked the other one to begin with. The new characters introduced in this book just clinched it for me. I can’t wait for Brink’s book next. Write faster Winter!!!
I have FALLEN for the Fallen Lords!!! The much anticipated 8th book in the the Fallen Lords book has finally arrived and it DID NOT disappoint!! Slayer is quite surprised when it isn’t the pizza that was ordered being delivered at the clubhouse door…. Hi Daddy….. wait what? Wendy is definitely not a fan of Slugger, Slinky or any other “S” name she can call the infuriating…….he wasn’t very nice when she need him to protect her and now he needs something from her…hunh. Can navigating new territory show each other in a new light? I know one thing it’s one heck of a hilarious journey to see. A DEFINITE MUST READ!!!!!!!! DON’T FORGET THE COW PRINT LOL
I loved slayer and could not put it down. Slayer and Wendy were not expecting one another but what a great surprise. Loved it.
This is an awesome book Slayer and Wendy always calling each other the wrong names made my day then when he needed help with his new found daughter Wendy is there for both of them and wow do the sparks fly.
