***Book 1 of a 4 book series.***Stephan Coleman knows what his future holds as the president of a not-for-profit foundation and he knows what he wants out of life. All that changes when a simple lunch with his college friend, mentor, and fellow Dominant, Daren, leads him to buying a slave. Thrust into a situation he never thought he’d be in, Stephan can’t walk away. He is compelled to help this … compelled to help this girl in the only way he knows how.
Brianna knows only one thing: she is a slave. She has nothing. She is nothing.
Can Stephan help Brianna realize that she is much more than just a slave?

I don’t like books that force you to buy the sequels to get answers to the original question. New adventures in sequels are fine. The same adventure being carried out over several books feels more like a way to make money for the author than anything else.
Great book
This girl is a broken mess and this series shows the traumatic story of her and Stephan piecing her back together. Keep reading, one of the best love stories I have read in a while. It wasn’t what I expected, it was much better.
Not worth your time
I liked the book. I look forward to reading what happens next.
I have read the whole series very disappointing I was under the impression it would get better, price of the books went up, not the heat, I would allow my 13 yr old to read this. Never again will I purchase sherri hayes
I did not like it.
yuck. if i actually met people like this, i’d punch them hard and get them into therapy. there’s enough messed up freaks coupling and reproducing in the real world, we don’t need more fictional ones.
Human trafficking. This book tries to romanticize human trafficking. The male protagonist “rescues” the female protagonist who was sold into sexual slavery when she was 17 and subsequently beaten until her bones broke and raped until she bled. Does he involve the police or any of the desperately needed therapy?
Nope. He collars her. Because that’s a great treatment for PTSD. And absolutely protects any other girls that the predator would enslave in the future.
I have read thousands of books over the years, and this is easily one of the 10 worst books out of all of them.
It was good but was left with a cliffhanger.
Loved the whole series that goes with Slave. Normally I don’t spend the kind of money on books like this but trust me it was worth every penny. Stirred up a lot of emotions but also gave me faith in my fellow man as well.
Interesting book.
I’ve never read a better book at 12 am.
