When she pours out her heart to Skyler Walker, she has no idea who she’s talking to. Casa Skywalker cool name.
Mallery Viera has a big problem she needs to finish her education but permission to be in the country has expired. Here is where Skyler comes into the picture and offers to marry her. If you have read any of the other books in this series you will wonder if this marriage of convenience will turn out as well as his brothers. This book like the whole series has been heartwarming and a delight to read I love the Walkers. There is more in this piece than just a beautiful love story it also deals with Skylar’s feeling. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
WOW this one is so good to catch up with the previous characters and see how a friend can become so much more – very interesting to read and have them find their HEA!

Really loved this sweet and fun couple, they are so engaging to read about. This is an emotionally thrilling and action packed romantic adventure filled with exciting twists and interesting charters. Great read from beginning to end.
Skyler marries Mal so she won’t be deported, a fake marriage for yet another Walker brother. But like his brothers before him, it’s not long before Sky and Mal begin to have real feelings for each other, way beyond their friendship. Skyler’s insecurity about fitting with the rest of his family – feeling like the black sheep – causes him to seek out help from a therapist, who doesn’t “solve” his problem for him, but rather gives him something to think about, and he figures out what to do. Once he spills the whole Dallas story at a brothers’ meeting, and then to Mal, he realizes that he world won’t end, and no one thinks any less of him. One thing that I really like about this book is that while it’s primarily about Sky and Mal’s journey, the rest of the family is along side them, and the reader can keep up to date with the entire group. This is such a beautiful family – all of them – coming together for the good times and the bad, in fellowship and prayer when needed.

Skyler Walker married his friend Mallery Viera who was about to lose her green card. They married just so she could could stay in America but soon their marriage turns into a real marriage. This is a sweet clean romance story but also about the relationships we all have with our family members and how sometimes we can all feel less than when you see others having a wonderful life when maybe you are struggling. Loved this wonderful book and all the characters.
In order to keep his best friend from being deported to Mexico, Skyler marries Mal. This pretend-marriage develops into more than they thought would happen.
Babies are born, accidents happen, and immigration lingers near. This makes a family pull together and rely on each other even more.
I love the Walker Brother’s series.
Nicely done.
Family is important to the youngest Walker brother, Skylar. He feels like he doesn’t belong since his brothers are married and having families of their own, so he marries his friend Mal, who is about to be deported to Mexico because she filled out the wrong form. But they fall in love, just as his brothers did when they made “pretend” marriages. Faith in God and being truthful make this marriage work, and with the changes in their lives both Skylar and Mallory are able to see that they do belong to the family and are much loved.

Once again Ms. Isaacson has given us a very emotional and compelling story in this wonderful series about the seven Walker sons. This book is about Skyler and Mallery and showcases the strong bonds that develop within a family when it is grounded in faith, love, and forgiveness. This was by far the best book in the series up to this point. Micah is now the only remaining brother that is still single and when we get his story we will have to say goodbye to this remarkable family unless Ms. Isaacson can be convinced to give us a book that features all of the brothers and their wives about ten or so years later on. That would be a great epilogue to the whole series.

Book six in the Seven Sons Ranch in Three Rivers Romance series a well written story that kept me turning pages. It has a great storyline and the story flowed smoothly across the pages. This is Mallery Viera who needs to get married to stay in the country and cowboy Skyler Walker comes to her aid by tell her he will marry her. I enjoyed watching their story unfold. Another great story from the Seven Sons Ranch! Because of a secret in his past, Skyler feels like he doesn’t measure up to his brothers. He chooses to go to Amarillo to go to college but he is really hiding from his past and working hard to be seen as a playboy. When his friend and fellow student Mallery tells him she may be deported he comes to the rescue with a marriage proposal. But like his brothers before him, Skyler and his wanna-be wife fall in love. This is a great story of commitment, love, family and faith. Don’t miss this latest book by Liz Isaacson!
Skyler and Mal are just the sweetest couple. I love how they have been friends for two years before this, setting ground work to make this marriage more than just a want to be. Skyler feels he doesn’t fit with his family and Mal left hers behind to better herself and send them much needed financial support. This couple is very supportive of each other and really feels like they are each others life line. This is a really good story and the characters are believable. I’m not sure I liked the ending but it might just be me not ready for it to end. I think there were a few things left unfinished in this book. It was very deep and there was a lot going on. I found this book more emotional than the previous ones on this family. Really enjoyed it, keep them coming.
Sky comes to Mal’s rescue when she is threatened with deportation. Like his brothers, his marriage is a fake front for INS. But he also has to address his own internal demons about being the family black sheep. There is a tragic situation that brings the family closer together. I have been enjoying this family series of seven sons. There is such a vibration of closeness and love for each other. This is unusual for such a large family. It’s wonderful to see make believe become reality and watch love bloom.

I’m really enjoying this series and all the characters, the Walker family and Seven Sons Ranch. I loved Mal and Skyler’s story and catching up with characters from previous. The books have all captivated me and I look forward to the next one.
I wasn’t as sure coming into this book as Skyler has been kind of a hidden character, but the immigration angle intrigued me. I have to say that this book is different from the others, there is way more family involvement. I loved getting perspectives from almost all of the characters, it made this book incredibly well rounded and added dimension where some of the characters have been relegated to the background. I loved the refreshing of all the characters and bringing them all back to the forefront.

Skylar helps Mal to stay in the US by marrying her once it’s realized that she filed the wrong paperwork. They have been friends for two years. Feelings develop between the two and this pretend marriage becomes a real marriage. The ups and downs and story are great!

One more Walker brother meets his match in an unexpected way. Skylar has a bit of a white knight complex so he can’t resist helping when it looks like his friend Mal may not be allowed to stay in the country due to a paperwork mix-up. But beneath this simple fake relationship set-up are a whole lot of real emotions and a ton of family drama. There are a lot of different things going on in this book. While all the different pieces are well-written and tie into the central story, there were times that I felt like some of the additional storylines pulled my attention away from Skyler and Mal and prevented me from fully connecting with them. None of that prevented me from loving this pair and the whole Walker family. I can’t wait to read Micah’s story now.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

The Walker brothers are something else and Skyler is no exception. He likes Mal and wants to help her out through a tough time. As he is serving/helping her he falls in love with her. A lesson for all of us through serving others you get to know them and love them. So let’s make sure that we serve those we love the most.
Mal is in danger of being deported to Mexico because of a mix-up in paperwork regarding her green card visa. As the title suggests, they get married in name only, much like 5 of the other Walker brothers.
Although the main storyline is about Skyler and Mal, it is also about the entire Walker family. It is not unusual to have two characters become the entire book. However, this author weaves the main plot with the entire Walker family and the daily interactions among them. Children are born, accidents happen, misunderstandings cause friction. But in the Walker family, two parents and seven grown sons, several daughters-in-law and grandchildren make for a more cohesive and realistic novel. While I loved Skyler and Mal, I was thoroughly enamored with the other secondary storylines. This romance felt complete. Honestly, with that much family, how could you not include all the Walkers?
This is a beautiful romance incorporating the best in family values and grounded in faith.
I truly love Liz’s books. They are never the same. This is all about a Green Card. Or is it? All the things that have to be done to straight out a small legal matter. It is not easy. Find out what they go through to get it straight. Wonderful characters and story.
