An emotional story about love and life.
Mallery was in a tough position that just kept getting tougher. She’s a college student working her butt off to get through school when she learns that she misfiled her VISA paperwork and is facing deportation. When her friend, Skyler hears about her troubles, he offers to marry her and they’ll work out the details later. But neither one was counting on falling in love.
This is the sixth book in the Seven Sons Ranch in Three Rivers series and really needs to be read in the order it is written as each book is connected to the next one. The whole series has been so well written and developed that you feel as if you really know all of them.

Every time I think this series can’t get better it does. For a family that gets together regularly, who truly love each other and who have a ranch together (yes, ownership is Rhett’s.) the boys are truly terrible at communicating. This failure to communicate has Skyler feeling like he is the black sheep of the family, the only one who has ever failed and unable to fit comfortably with his six brothers. When he opens his heart and wallet to helping Mallory, he begins to find his way. Liz Isaacson has written these stories so well that I feel I know this family and feel invested in their well-being. A true family crisis finally opens lines of communication between these grown brothers, helped by their wives. The only reservation I have about Micah’s story coming next is knowing he is the last of the brothers to finally get his soulmate and that will mean the end of the story. Hopefully the family will show up as characters in other series. I will miss them.
Skyler’s Wanna-Be Wife is book 6 in the Seven Sons Ranch Romance series. It tells the story of Skyler and Mal’s reason for marriage and how they too find a forever love. But, there is a suspenseful event that puts the faith and the love of the entire Walker family on red alert and changes the easy going life they had been living to a very fearful day to day existence. There is more babies and still more to come. They still have their Christmas decorations event and their family get togethers and Mommy says there is no other group of women she would rather be friends with than her new daughters. Both Gideon and Penny feel that each son, no matter the reason their marriage started, know there sons and daughter-in-laws are deeply in love with each other and they love their parents unconditionally.
Loved the saga of all the brothers continuing from one book to the next in this series.
Loved everything about this book. It was a great story about two people who thought less of themselves than others. They just didn’t think they fit in with their families but came to find out they fit together and were not so different. These characters have a lot of baggage but they work through it and you just love the story. You see a lot of the characters from the previous books in this one so it really isn’t a stand alone story. This one brought me to tears, it was a hard one, but well worth the read.
Skyler’s Wanna-Be Wife: Christmas Brides for the Billionaire Brothers is the sixth book in the Seven Sons of Ranch in Three Rivers. It was fine reading as a stand-alone and I didn’t feel like I missed anything by not reading the previous books. It was well written and fast paced. The storyline was unique, and I loved the characters. It was sweet clean marriage of convenience romance. I am certainly going to go and read the other books in the series.

Great story with super likable characters who were imperfect and very relatable. They didn’t always make the right choice and yet the story worked its way out to a happy ending. Highly recommend this author and this book!!
Though Skylar Walker had always thought of himself as his family’s black sheep, staying arm’s length from his family, his hurt past comes out in this deeply moving book by author Liz Isaacson. Skylar offers to enter into a fake marriage to keep a longtime friend and college mate from being deported. But with some of the chemistry already present and the fear of brash actions, Skylar’s hurt past, and Mal’s sweet, kind ways, watch another lasting, true Walker marriage grow on Texas’ Seven Sons Ranch. An enjoyable weekend read! Recommended!
The storyline was great and the characters were very likable, believable and engaging and as each and every page was turned Skyler and Mal pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!

Skyler’s Wanna Be Wife is book 6 in the Seven Sons Ranch in Three River by Liz Isaacson and these stories get better and better!
While each book is a standalone with a different couple about their trials, problems, emotions and navigating through life…you also see the interaction between the rest of the family and how they help each other to live a life centered around faith, hope and love!!
Can’t wait for the last brother to find his HEA Micah’s and am thinking it might be a wild ride!!
I loved the characters in this story. This is a great book & hard to put down. I was up half the night reading, because I kept telling myself “just one more chapter.”
I really enjoyed reading this book! I could understand all the feelings between the two main characters. Especially toward the end, I couldn’t keep from crying, first from sorrow and then from happiness! I recommend this book to anyone who loves good clean romance books!
I had a great time reading this well written book. The characters were well developed and the chemistry was felt throughout the pages. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

I loved reading about Mal and Skyler and how they got to their happy ending. They both had to overcome and come out of their shells to feel the love for each other. The family dynamic that is in this series is great, I have really enjoyed reading about all the brothers and how each book lets you know more about them.

It amazes me how this author can write so many books about a “fake marriage” and are so different. Love the Walker family. We get a romance about Sky and Mal but also get to see the rest of the family and how they interact with each other as well as what is going on their lives. This is the couple that I really felt the love between early in their fake marriage – I think that’s why this is my fave. Their are issues that come up – just like in real life – but we do get a hea. I am anxiously waiting for Micah’s book – my fave Walker brother.
This book is pretty good well written hot steamy passionate loving caring I have read different books of hers there all awesome and cant wait see what coming next.

Ever since the FBi questioned him about embezzlement and tax fraud and the succeeding failure of his company, Skylar feels ashamed and although his family does not know the details he feels that they treat him differently.
When he marries Mal to help her with immigration it unexpectedly opens a door back to better relations with his family and he starts to see that redemption is possible.
A nice story of family support and a love accepting a person no matter what they may have done. A clean story showing that even in a difficult situation there is always someone who will help
