SkylarA single mom of twins, Skylar is a loner that has continuously suffered at the hands of those that are supposed to love and protect her. Joker
Joker is the Vice President of the Wild Kings MC. He grew up wanting to follow in his dad’s footsteps and join the Wild Kings as soon as he was old enough. While I ultimately enjoyed the book there are several things that I didn’t like. I don’t like wishy washy characters. Some characters should not have been made or mentioned. I don’t think it’s necessary to have any characters have so many things happen to them or their loved ones. It seems to be a little too extreme. There were so many grammatical errors, not to mention spelling errors that if it made it through an editor I would recommend finding a new one and requesting a refund from the original editor. I would also love for the author to get a thesaurus. The continuous repetitive use of words such as ABSOLUTELY is beyond annoying and should not happen in any book. This has the bones to be a great book but it needs some serious refining and editing.
I fell in love with Skylar in the first chapter and Joker and Cage followed right after. The characters in this story are realistic and the problems Skylar faced her whole life and through the story are real. It was so great to see two men support her and help her accept herself and them. Skylar is a very strong, loyal and kind woman. Joker and Cage help her come into her own. Love this book. Will definitely check out the rest in this series.
You know, some people shy away from the Motorcycle Clubs, they aren’t all bad. I would love even just one of Cage or Joker, maybe even Grim…definitely Tank. I think Skylar was a very strong young lady, she resonated with me, I have been thru a lot of what this book describes, without the HEA or the MC. It’s not an easy life to brave on your own, those who do are labeled as the Fixers, we survive because we have to, we have to be sure our child is excepted, treated properly and most definitely LOVED. And to find to men, who see the need and the pain she feels, the wish in her eyes that she tries to hide is priceless. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. I cried, laughed and held my breathe while reading. HIghly recommend this book and the rest of the series.
Skylar doesn’t want much. She just wants her daughter to be well and for her son to be happy. She doesn’t expect anything for herself. She is so alone and doesn’t have any self esteem at all, with good reason. Her family has beaten her down so she just would rather be alone. When she meets Cage and Joker through Joker’s sister Bailey, she tries to keep her distance. But the guys don’t want distance, they want her and her kids to belong to them. She just can’t believe they would want anything beyond a tumble in the sheets. But these guys aren’t going to let the perfect woman for them slip through their fingers.
OOh my, I discovered Erin Osborne through an author takeover and I have read Skylar’s Saviors twice now. Ms Osborne has a way of putting you right into Skylar’s emotions, her loneliness and pain. She can’t believe that two hot guys like Cage and Joker could possibly want to be with her. Her kids’ father doesn’t want them or her so why should they? Cage and Joker are willing to put in the work to get her to trust in them and how they feel. I really loved these characters and how we see them forge a relationship between the three of them. I cannot wait to read more from this talented lady! 4.5 stars for Skylar’s Saviors!
