What if Hercules wasn’t the hero everyone thought he was?His daughter, Lyssa, knows just how cruel he can be. But she has left that life behind and now her battered smugglers ship, the Alastor, flies under everyone’s radar – just how she likes it.The Gods have a different plan for her though. They’re about to break one of their only rules and grant a worthy hero a chance to win the ultimate prize … grant a worthy hero a chance to win the ultimate prize – immortality. And Lyssa and Hercules are two of the lucky heroes offered the chance to compete.
Twelve gods, twelve realms, twelve trials. And for Lyssa, they’re about so much more than an eternal life. They’re about facing the monster from her past and stopping him from becoming truly untouchable.
She never wanted to let the world know that she inherited some of her father’s immense power. But maybe it’s time to show them all. How else can she compete with giants, centaurs, demi-gods, monsters, warriors and the strongest man in Olympus?
You’ve never read Greek mythology like this before…

All the Gods of Olympus plus more. In this great start to this series we gets books 1-3 all in one nifty installment. The Gods are bored so they create a set of trials that one crew can win gifting them immortality. Of course they all want that so enter a fierce competition with dirty fighting, secrets, and more as they fight each other as well as the trials. The first three fly by then you but the end of the book with one doozy of a twist. Great for fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
What an interesting series! I have always loved learning about Gods and Goddesses but reading this series has a great twist. Reading about a series of trials to possibly become one of the immortals just because those on Olympus are bored??!! Wow! Very cool how Hercules and his daughter(who are not on good terms) having to compete and go through the trials is AWESOME!

‘Skies of Olympus’ is book one in Eliza Raine’s The Immortal Trials. This book contains trials 1 – 3.
Lyssa may be the daughter to the famous Hercules, but she wants nothing to do with him. He murdered her mother and brother in front of her and if she didn’t run she would have been killed as well. To make things worse none of the gods did anything to punish him. Four years later Lyssa is now a Captain of her own Ship the Alastor. When Athena appears on the Alastor, saying she is presenting Lyssa as her champion for the upcoming Immortal Trials, Lyssa denies the invitation. After hearing that Hercules is participating she decides that she will do whatever it take to prevent him for winning.
I have read the Hades and Ares Trials by this author and I just fell in love with the World that was created by Ms Raine. So when I realised that there was another series based in the same world I just knew I had to job on board and read it. Although the events that take place in this series are prior to the other series I never felt like I had any spoilers. The series may take place in the same world, but they are all unique and independent. Yes there may have been a few little insiders of events or people but it was still a great journey and experience reading this book.
Reading the turmoil and heartache that Lyssa has experienced thanks to her father was heart wrenching. But seeing how strong she has come out from it, was a sight.
Ms Raine is one exceptional author I have loved her rendition/retellings of the Mythological Greek Gods. Getting to read Hercules’ story as him as the evil, cruel sadistic man was definitely an eye opener. I can’t wait to see how this series goes. There is definitely potential in this series.
I love books about greek mythology. This one is packed with action and suspense. This series focuses on Hercules and his daughter Lyssa, and their race for immortality.

This is an interesting and fun series of books. I really enjoy stories with Greek Mythology and I liked the twists the author put on some of the characters in this series.
The books focus on Hercules, his daughter Captain Lyssa and the rivalry between them. The two are in a competition to gain immortality and each book follows them through the trials they have to complete.
Their tale is filled with lots of action, suspense and surprises. Book three ends with a bit of a cliffhanger and now I can’t wait to find out what book four has in store for Captain Lyssa and her crew.
Beginning of a great ya series. A great twist on old mythology. An exciting adventure, and life or death race against incredible odds for the ultimate prize. I received a free review copy of the audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Skies Of Olympus by Eliza Raine is the 1st three parts in the Immortality Trials series and a terrific spin on Greek mythology.
Our heroes are competing in 12 challenges set by the gods for the ultimate prize…immortality!
Lyssa will stop at nothing to keep her despised father, Hercules from winning and gaining immortality.
Fantastic characters and a well written storyline that moved right along and kept you interested!
Looking forward to more from this series!
A truly unique story! With crazy twists in Greek mythology.
Lyssa, daughter of Hercules, is on a mission. One to stop her evil father from achieving immortality.
Great characters, amazing storyline and outstanding world building!

Life is safer then, they say. Things are less complex, they say. Well not according to The Immortality Trials. Life is not simple with all kinds of beings, and it is definitely not safer. But a whole lot more interesting

I really enjoyed this book and could not stop once I started. Its a different spin on the whole Greek gods and Hercules. In this one he’s not the hero and has a daughter Lyssa who is the main character. She gets a chance to compete in the trials for immortality but really just wants to make sure her dad doesn’t win and to avenge her family because of him. It was just so addicting and one I really could not get enough of and can not wait to read the next books and trials!
I found this YA mythology fantasy to be highly addictive in just this first set of books! Well written the author has put her own unique spin on the Greek gods and instead of a hero we get an amazing heroine! Tons of action and adventure, suspense, mythology and twists and turns and I am eagerly looking forward to reading the next set !
Whats not to love about this series?! Great twist on Greek mythology! The characters are so well written and each with specific personalities. It will be hard not to think of these Greek legends as they are written in this series. The story its self is so well written and fast paced that you have to keep reading so you can see what is next. The Trials are based on Herculean legend and are seamlessly worked into an amazing adventure.
I received an ARC of this book from the author. This is an honest review.
This is a fantastic series. That takes you into a different world, its fast paced and action packed. The Author really brings these characters to life on these pages. And makes it feel so real. The Narrator does a fantastic job as well. I definitely recommend this series

Twelve trails will face them as they try to gain immortality. She is not that interested in the prize as she wants revenge on her father. This has three books in so you will get the most out of this book
