Wild love always happens when you least expect it. Sketch… would never be enough.
Nancy was unlike any woman I’d ever met; untamed, gutsy, and ready to fight me every step of the way. She didn’t want me, or the complication one night with me would give her… good thing I was prepared to go to war to get her in my bed and out of my head.
Nancy…
Miles City, a place full of bad memories that I swore I’d never return to, yet there I was back in the little town I once called home. Those memories soon became the least of my problems when Sketch roared into my life clad in black leather and riding a motorcycle, all six foot of attitude and raw savageness.
Sketch was dark and dangerous, a thunderstorm too alluring to resist getting drenched in. All I could think about was him, claiming my body for his own. But he was everything that was wrong for me, and if I wasn’t careful, the chaos we created together would leave me broken-hearted.
We had no future.
We were two very different people, on two very different paths.
Yet I couldn’t help the whispering of my heart telling me that if we got this right, together we could be the perfect storm. Together, we would find wild love.

Claire has done it again, this is so good, i couldn’t put it down.
Sketch is one hell of a character he is charming, witty and so sexy and his alpha male ways made me swoon.
He sees Nancy and is instantly drawn to her, he cant take his eye’s off her and his persuit for her is unrelenting
Their chemistry crazy, the love in this is so raw it grips your soul.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cant wait for the next book.
Holy wow! If you thought Crank was sexy, wait until you meet Sketch! Sketch always thought he would never settle down with one woman or in one location. That is until he met Nancy! Sketch will capture your heart as soon as you meet him. I can’t wait to meet Battle!
Sketch is book 2 in the Devils Highwaymen Nomads Series. We met Sketch during book 1 of the series Crank, and know he is a tattoo artist and he left to become a nomad alongside Crank. This novel skips forwards a year or so and we now see a still unattached but sober and happy Crank throughout Sketch’s story, which is nice to have an update on how he is doing.
Sketch’s story is focused around club business, some questioning of the national president of the Devil’s Highwaymen Hardy (who we met in Crank) and something dodgy is definitely going on there! Sketch’s love interest is a fellow tattoo artist and seemingly bad ass chick Nancy. The scene where Sketch first lays eyes on Nancy was just perfect. In a club, where Sketch is with his club brothers when he spots her across the room with Lust in his eyes. He sits back at watches as Nancy takes down a guy getting a little too close for her liking and Sketch adores her for it; but his protective alpha instincts kick in. He soon discovers that he may not be Nancy’s type considering she is their with her lover and girlfriend Tammy. Sketch being Sketch he isn’t going to let that stop him from claiming Nancy as his woman.
Sketch and his pursuit of Nancy is everything you want it to be, the guy talks the talk and walks the walk. As he does he breaks down her walls and discovers there is more to her story, leading to a vulnerable;e woman underneath her tough girl exterior. Not only that but that their paths intertwine where the ATF is concerned in club business too.
There were some fantastic moments in the book, I just loved the way Claire wrote Sketch in general, his mannerisms and his speech were spot on for his character. Then his unrelenting game of cat and mouse with Nancy culminates to a hot as hell scene that involves a motorbike, so much chemistry and a whole lotta rain! Sketch as a novel left me more fulfilled than Crank did in a well rounded storyline way. I am super curious about what is going on with Hardy and where Crank and Sketch are heading to next. Bring on Book 3 Battle.
Book 2 in the series and it just gets better I LOVE sketch he’s dark and brutal and full of sin with a cocky sense of humour what’s not to love …Sketch is the club’s tattooist and loves being on the road no ties keeping him in one place that is until he meets his match in the beautiful fiesty blonde Nancy ,attraction is instant but poor Nancy is still dealing with her own heartbreaking demons not to mention that she should be off limits but oh no once sketch decides he wants something nothing and no one will stand in his way. I loved the fast paced story and I love being able to see how crank s life carries on too ahh these biker men fall so hard and love deeply (swoon)
Sketch is the second book of the nomads and boy did Cee Cee bring it.
This was amazing and even though I absolutely adore crank he doesn’t hold a candle to sketch, A hard as nails bad boy with a soft and gooey centre, he melted me.
Nancy is a feisty soul with a loud mouth and a huge heart, I love that she doesn’t take no s*** from anyone.
This story is impossible to put down and another reason why Cee Cee Riley is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors
Bring on Battle
