Love can be a beautiful thing. It can fill up your life with the warmth of its embrace and spread to every corner of your mind.It can quiet your soul. But when that love turns wrong, it twists and warps into something bitter and unrecognizable. The pain of it promises unyielding noise in place of that half-remembered silence.Lexie has lived with this pain for four years, pouring it into music that … pouring it into music that transformed Unquiet Mind into the most famous rock band in the world.
But fame can also turn ugly, curl into that bitter version of love and endanger everything Lexie holds dear.
The moment Lexie’s life is threatened, he comes back to ensure she stays alive.
Killian.
He’s not just back to save her life, he’s back to save her soul and to claim what’s his.
Problem is, someone else already considers Lexie his, and he’ll kill to make sure she stays that way.
It is highly reccomended to read Echoes of Silence (Book One) before reading Skeletons of Us.

2 hearts, 2 souls, a love so true and strong…..broken.
How do you get over that? If your Lexie and Killian, you dont.
This book is the 2nd part to their story, a bit older, a bit wiser and still broken.
This book is bloody marvellous….I thought Echoes was great but this second part to the duet takes the prize! These 2 books together made me speechless…so much emotion, love and angst. If you love reading then you will buy these books!
It’s time for Killian and Lexie’s journey to be concluded! This is book 2 of 2, so it is highly recommend that you read ‘Echoes of Us’ first.

Such a sweet and joyful ending to a very tragic and horrific story for Killian and Lexie (Lillian).
This book takes place Four years after Killian broke Lexie’s heart in ‘Echoes of Us’. You will get to witness how Kill and Lexi have grown and changed since that horrible moment on the deck, you will also get to marvel in how wonderfully the band Unquiet Minds has done since signing the contract. But FYI make sure to have tissues ready as you are going to need them, cause you heart is going to BREAK into a million pieces just to have it repair and mend to have it destroyed again and again.
“But that’s what love is sometimes, pain. You just have to learn what the right kind of pain love is. The person that has the power to hurt you but will give you a thousand days of happiness and only a second of pain. I think that’s worth it. Don’t you?” Such a heartfelt message…
Tears are running down my cheeks, my heart is hurting and I can’t stop smiling. When I read Echoes of Silence, I thought that nothing could top it. But bloody hell was I wrong and I’m sad to see that it’s over. This book completely owned me. It destroyed me, pulverised my heart & wrecked me for anyone else but Kill and Lexie. It consumed me to the point of insanity, to the point where I lost my grip on reality. The absolute raw pain & destruction I felt from Anne’s words are still causing me to shake.
I am absolutely overwhelmed by the turn of events & the emotion & angst filled to the brim within this book. How is it even possible that I have managed to fall deeper in love with these characters. I felt like I was completely one with them. I felt everything they felt, every hate filled glare, every deeper crack of broken hearts, every kiss and every touch.
The suspense and thrill in this one had me biting my nails. Had me reaching to pull my hair out. Everything was unforeseeable. It came out of nowhere and I didn’t even know how to process any of it. My heart hurt so much for Kill and Lexie. The pain these two went through, Lexie went through. It actually hurt to read about it. There was so much pain. So much anger. So much time lost. And as time passed, the darkness continued to consume them even more. So much so that they were completely different people than they were when they were kids.
I have no words. But I am in absolute awe of Anne’s writing. This book has completely changed me. It’s ruined me. This series has just ripped me apart in ways I never thought possible. And while I haven’t read the Sons of Templar series, I feel bad because after reading Kill and Lexie’s story. I don’t want to. They have consumed me. I am obsessed with them and I refuse to share my heart with any other characters. Hot brooding alpha bikers or not.
Skeletons of Us. A tear jearker filled with so much angst, you’ll go crazy trying to swim up from under it. I can’t stop crying. I love this book and these two so much. This ending was everything. Everything was the way it was meant to be. And while I would’ve loved to see a bit more of them at the end, I still love them. I’ll go to sleep tonight dreaming about these two. This will be a hard book funk to get out of but I don’t care because I just want to lie here and live in the perfect World that is Kill and Lexie.
Another amazing book & definitely a must read! I can’t wait to see what Anne’s got in store for us next!
Lexie and Killian’s story continues in this finale of their story. You really must read Echoes of Silence (Unquiet Minds #1) to fully appreciate this epic love story. For a person who usually doesn’t care for the YA/NA romances I fell in love with both of these young people way back in book 2 of The Sons of Templar series. In Echoes of Silence (book 1) we see two young people who act much more mature than their years but show without a doubt they love each other deeply. We see Killian let Lexie go on to pursue her music career because he wants her to fly free and thinks he will hold her back. He knows if he lets Lexie know his true feelings she won’t go on with her life but will stay behind so he makes her think he’s breaking up with her. Heartbroken, Lexie moves on and become a world famous rock star but she never forgets her lost love and home.
In Skeletons Of Us, Lexie returns home due to a tragedy, she and Killian are thrown back into the same circle. Lexie is engulfed with resentment towards Killian and Killian is miserable because he realizes what he lost. He finally realizes he could have worked it out to be a part of her life and rather than not being good enough for her, he could have made himself good enough to support her and follow her. Lexie becomes the target of a crazed stalker and Killian steps up to protect her and make her his again. My heart hurt as I watched these two young lovers struggle through the barriers back to the love that has been hidden amongst the hard feelings that each harbored.
I continue to love how this author weaves the strong sense of family love and support in each of her stories. I like a strong hero and heroine and being able to see them recognize each other’s faults and strengths but nothing pulls a story together for me like a loving, supportive family unit.
I highly recommend this two book series as well as the Sons Of Templars books. Anne Malcom only gets better with each book she writes. Emotional, gut wrenching, sexy men, strong women and a loving family makes her stories unforgettable.
5+++ stars for me
I absolutely adore Killian and Lexi especially in book 1 when we get to them grow and become such soul mates and really see them shine and then it all goes to hell which brings us too Skeletons of Us.
I couldn’t wait to get in to this book and see what was going to happen, Lexi the rockstar and Killian the patched in member of SOT, well there lives took them quite the way from each other and reading the first part of this book and feeling how broken these two were even after four years, but i love how Anne Malcom’s writing makes you feel everything the character is feeling.
Killian was in a dark place and so was Lexi, she had celebrity status but she wasn’t whole and you could tell that she loved her music and it’s what she loved to do.
This book had it all, the 2nd chance love, the very protective alpha, we had suspense and an amazing story line. The chemistry between Killian and Lexi was just burning of the pages and it had you so invested in this story.
I loved how we got more Mia and Bull the boys from the band of course which now has me really excited for the rest of thier books and Lexis best friends Emma and Gina. This book just made this duet for Killian and Lexi so perfect and agin i found more music which i love.
This book had it all and if you haven’t read Anne Malcom yet it’s a must living her stories and writing.
5 huge stars for this book.
So freaking good!
Lexie and Killian’s journey is one that has bumps along the way. Can they find the silence? Will they finally heal each other? Or will their worlds come crashing down?
Loved loved loved this book. Definitely to be read after Echos of Silence!
5 BEAUTIFUL HARD STARS!! Love can be so hard, but that is what makes it worth while. Killian and Lexie’s love is broken and I felt it in my bones and my heart hurt so bad. These two broken beautiful souls, need each in so many ways. Their story will hit all your emotion buttons. You definitely need to read book 1 in this series first before this Book. This story is a must read for any romance read who likes hard love stories.
I am sad its over. The plot for this book was amazing. I was on the edge of me seat the entire read. I loved how these two characters ended up. Definitely not disappointed.
This book takes place four years after Echoes of Silence. It shows us where both Lexie and Killian are in life. So many feelings in this book. Their story broke my heart and put it back together again. I absolutely adore these characters and their honest, flawed portrayals. The author doesn’t sugarcoat anything and as a reader I’m grateful for that. This book is dark in places, definitely emotional but it’s also beautiful. The love between Killian and Lexie is stuff of legends. Their affection, their chemistry and the rightness of them together just makes me smile. Make sure you have your tissues ready
