She works for him. He lives with me. I want them both…AlexI’ve got good reason to keep my mouth shut around my best friend Elliot, so when he hires the luscious Joelle Munroe to save his restaurant I can understand his hands-off frustration. But she doesn’t work for me… to be sweet, smart, and sexy as hell, I can’t blame my best friend for wanting her too. But Joelle wasn’t there the night Alex left his bedroom door open and after what we did together… Now they’re both in my head.
Joelle
Eyes on the prize — get the job, get into school, get my career on track. I’ve got too much on the line to lose my head over my boss, or his roommate’s seriously fine ass. And definitely not both at the same time.

I finished all 4.5 books in a matter is days. I loved these books. I loved you were able to show the beauty, the love the passion, between the throuples. My husband is bi so these books hit me hard. I hope one day we are able to find our third and be able to love to deeply. Thank you for showing people it’s ok to find love in any form.
What can I say, this book is amazing. I love the secrets love interest between Elliot, Alex and Joelle. Its like I want you but I want your friend too/ best friend. This has been quite and interesting and page turning book. and i listening bring so much of a visual too. What i find really intriguing is that Joelle can see the love between the best friends and vice versa when she is with one of the guys. I have to admit I was expecting some type of relationship between Connie and Joelle’s dad. They balance each other out, just like how Elliot, Alex and Joelle are with each other. Above all, what I love about this book is that when the dust is settled their hearts and love for each other takes over and allows the communication to open up and their relationship to develop.
This was just my kind of book. The characters are like friends to me now, and I was rooting for them the entire time. A great MMF love story.
Savvy food blogger to the rescue
—>>> A wonderfully told story about a chef, his best friend of ten years, and a savvy food blogger who puts the sizzle in their lives and changes everything. I enjoyed their coming together, their re-evaluation of their feelings, their openness to possibilities once they were on the table, and overcoming their very real fears and pushing past them to go for what they could have together, along with unexpected support from those close to them to help realize their dreams.
Fans herself! This book is hot, hot, hot!! It also has a really great story too, not just the heat. The author does a really great job of balancing both story and heat. There is a lot of emotions in this book between everyone and also outside of their relationship. You will fall in love with Elliot, Alex and Joelle and cringe when in their heads they get everything wrong. In the end they work it out and that’s the best part.
*I received a free copy of this book via the Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.*
Love, love, love this story! The menage relationship between Elliott, Noelle and Alex is a slow burn sexy read. Yes there are several steamy scenes, but the best part is the slow build up of their relationships. The story deals with the realization of their feelings for each other: the confusion, frustration, fears, hope and eventually love between the three characters. Highly recommend. Look forward to reading Anna’s story next.
This book is a first for me from this author and it won’t be the last. This was a sweet but hot romance. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters and especially the hot sex scenes. My favorite trope is MMF because they are so hot. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
I found this story to be a slow awakening between the three main characters Joelle, Elliot and Alex. The attraction is there between the Joelle and the two men and there’s a chemistry between Elliot and Alex that has the men scared for their friendship. It is an interesting and sometimes awkward triangle that keeps these people stumbling for what they want and desire. At times, the story is sweet. At times, the story is hot. At times, the story is drawn out. Overall, I like it.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
Elliot’s restaurant desperately needs a miracle to keep it from going under. That miracle comes in the form of food blogger, Joelle. She’s the lifesaver Duckbill needs, but it means Elliot cannot act on his immediate attraction to her. He can, however, encourage the attraction he can see between her and his best friend and roommate, Alex. But what happens when Joelle wants both of them? Even more significantly, when Elliot’s feelings for Alex morph into something he’s never experienced before – for a man?
I enjoyed this MMF ménage, mostly because of Alex and Elliot. I almost felt like Joelle was an intrusion on the men’s developing relationship, rather than a completion of it, so I couldn’t fairly give this the 5 stars I almost could have. Alex and Elliot’s relationship was the interesting one, the way it developed, all the bumps and obstacles anyone would experience while one came to terms with his new feelings. It was portrayed so realistically and in an entirely readable way. So, if Joelle weren’t even in the story, I would have been even happier. As it’s written, though, she’s an OK character, just not that interesting or likable. Aside from her, though, I liked Sizzle. It’s steamy, emotionally substantive and has two likable characters. I think 4 stars is fair for a ménage that really should have been just a couple.
Wow! The name says it all! Joelle needs a job, Elliot needs something to save his restaurant and Alex wants what is best for Elliot. Alex and Elliot have been best friends for years, yet neither know how they really feel about each other. Throw the beautiful Joelle in the mix and things get stirred up quickly! They each have their own issues and baggage, but soon they can’t deny the chemistry between all 3 of them. Can they follow their hearts and take a risk, or will they all play is safe? Such a good story!
** spoiler alert ** Elliot has always had a strick no employees rule. Alex has had a crush on his best friend for years. Joelle is tired of not having her own life. No one can stop love. Will Alex finally find the loves he has always dreamed of? Will Joelle finally get her dream? Will Elliot realize what they all have before it is to late?
This was on hot read! Loved how this had a little bit of everything when it came to the menage portion. Joelle definitely started coming into her own and I loved seeing it. I loved seeing Elliot discover a side of him that he tried to push back and him realizing that it wasn’t wrong. I loved how patient Alex really was with everyone and how he was finally able to be completely open about his sexuality. Great read!
Whew! Is it hot in here? Sizzle by Whitley Green was a seriously sexy read! It was filled with so much tension and angst and heat when it finally exploded, I needed a cigarette afterwards! Loved this story of Elliot, Alex, and Joelle. I felt so much emotion for each of them as they fought their own inner demons to be together. The story was a quick read with a good flow. If you like an angsty, sexy menage book, you will love this book!
Warning: If MM action isn’t your game, you might want to pass on this one. This is the first book I’ve read by this author. She didn’t disappoint me at all. This was ONE HOT read. The plot was interesting and a little different. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. The chemistry between the three was off the charts explosive! I really didn’t want the story to end. It was just that good to me. I can’t wait to read more from this author!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book…..
Sizzle is the debut novel from this author. I read Sizzle between a couple of series, when I needed a bit of a break.
New authors can always have some teething problems – editing issues, forced dialogue, rushed storylines. Having read this novel, I can honestly say I didn’t notice any of that. It was a good length novel. I got caught right up in it. A lot of the reactions in the book, for the main characters, were believable (I thought). Some of the auxiliary characters may have been a touch unbelievable, but it didn’t affect the story in anyway, so it didn’t bother me any. None of the dialogue felt forced or formal; it felt right for the characters’ backgrounds and felt natural. As for the story, I thought it was an entertaining and sexy read. It was hot. It’s a standalone, which I find has a lot of merits. Some standalones that are written make you want the story to carry on, because you get so attached to the characters. And that’s brilliant that the authors can write a story that you get invested in so quickly, but it’s hard as a reader because a lot of times I’m reading a standalone because I need a break. Sometimes, you just get series’d out. So, you end up in this limbo where you read a great story, but you sort of feel like you read a series that just got cut short and you want more, which, to me, is a worse feeling than waiting for the next book. Likely, I’m reading a standalone because I just want something quick, that resets everything, but is fun and wraps everything up in a nice little bow. This book absolutely fit the bill, and I think is a fantastic first novel from this author. Can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeves.
OMG, this book is soooo hawt!! I started it and could not put it down. It’s about two roommates that have been friends for years and one spunky chef. Joelle has wanted to be a chef for as long as she can remember. She had to put her dreams on hold to take care of her dad, but now she has gets the opportunity to work at Elliot’s bar and grill. However, Elliot does not date employees and is having a really hard time not thinking about her. Alex and Elliot have been friends a really long time and have just recently been having thoughts about each other and Joelle too. What could possibly go wrong when two absolutely gorgeous men and one beautiful woman have feelings for each other? A lot, that’s what. This is their journey to happiness as well as all the mistakes they make along the way. You will not be disappointed. Just make sure you have the tissues handy.
