How do you make a connection to someone that you just opened your eyes to? How do you feel deep down in your soul that you were meant to protect this one person? How do you walk away when the truth of it all comes out and you will be broken beyond words if you don’t?
Meeting Tasha Foster and her life in small-town Pennsylvania was eye opening. She was the detective of the town. She was the protector. She was the solver. Then one day, one accident, one victim/perpetrator changes things in her world. The next six days will be nothing like any other in her life. Next we meet Jay. The man with no memory. The man with kind eyes. The man with a gentle spirit. The man that had a connection. Six days was all it took to change both their lives forever.
I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed to a point the narration. There were a few parts of disconnect with the narrators, Rebecca, voice. But overall I did enjoy it.
This romantic, mystery, suspense, thriller has a strong female presence which was refreshing, so different from the macho male characters we have become accustomed to.
I was a little disappointed with Rebecca’s narration, inflection wasn’t quite right,
Six Days of Memories was an interesting story about a man, who after an automobile accident, wakes up with amnesia. Not remembering his name, and why there was a dead woman in his trunk, a dead passenger and a bag filled with lots of money.
All that doesn’t stop the attraction that sparks between the investigating detective, Natasha /TashaFoster, and this man, who could possibly be a murderer.
As the mystery evolves, the reader continues to wonder whether “Jay” is truly the murderer or just a victim.
Throughout the story , the plot, with romance and danger mixed together, kept me wondering what would happen next. Would the discoveries send “Jay” to prison or would he be proven innocent? Would Tasha and “Jay” cross the line?
The narration was well done and the whodunit will keep you guess till the end.
Though not my favorite story by this author, it was still engaging and entertaining.

Stacy Eaton always comes through with a story that just hits my heart in every way possible. From suspense to passion, I am drawn in and entranced for hours! This book is exceptional with a story that caught me up early and kept me wondering how it would all turn out. Natasha Foster is the detective on a case, double homicide with a suspect that has amnesia. Or does he? The immediate pull that Tasha has for this John Doe is palpable, but she can’t let her attraction effect the outcome. Is that even possible? Jay as he wants to be called is charismatic and so believable, it’s almost impossible to think he could have done the unthinkable. And with this attraction leads to other questions. What will happen if he is guilty? If he is not, does he have a family? Is Tasha getting in too deep? This story has twists and turns you can’t even expect and it kept me on the edge of my seat. If you love romantic suspense, get a copy of this, you will absolutely love it!
I love meeting new narrators and this is my first listen by Rebecca Ehrenpreis. She is amazing! Easy on the ears and a great pace, she made this listen. She has a variety of voices, each easily distinguished between characters and transitions between male and female with ease. I really enjoyed her performance and will watch for more.

Six Days of Memories was a great read by Stacy Eaton. Natasha is a detective who responds to the scene of a car crash. There is a dead female passenger, a bag of money, a dead body in the trunk and a male driver who is unconscious. The driver wakes up but has no memory of what happened or who he is. He is nicknamed Jay and feels a pull to Natasha who is investigating the case. They both work hard to find out if he is a victim of a crime or a criminal. I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read more by Stacy Eaton.
My first adventure into this type of book, Stacy Eaton’s writing style certainly works for me, easy to read/listen too and always keeping you in suspense. The insight into what happens when a person has memory loss is very well handled and the will they won’t they romance smoulders throughout this story. A terrific story and look forward to more.
The narrator works well and the assortment of voices from one person is extrodinary, also a lovely clear voice that’s easy too listen too.

Wow, this book is awesome, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Stacy Eaton is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style and the story and characters she created, they are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored the lead characters, Detective Natasha Foster, bad ass police detective with a great reputation with her department for getting things done. She picks up a job that brings her to a scene of a one car accident, it turns out to be way more that an accident, the driver is in and out of consciousness , when looking for Identification they find he has a weapon on his person, the female passenger he was with was DOA, along side her was a bag of cash, lots of cash. Sealing the deal for a guaranteed long night of reports is the dead body in the trunk. Det. Foster and her partner interview the driver at the hospital but he has not recollection of what happened or who he is. She labels him John Doe but he rather be called something else, they settle on Jay, after the interview her gut is telling her he is not the murderer or a perpetrator. The hospital is set to release him but he has not where to go, since he is a person of interest and can be held but she comes up with another idea. A lot goes on in this book, it is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, it falls under several genres and is perfect for anyone who loves any one of them, police procedural, woman sleuth, mystery, suspense and romance. Stacy Eaton, thank you for another great story and for keeping me on my toes the entire book, I was waiting for the shoe to drop to find out who Jay was and what was his deal.
I listened to the Audible edition, Rebecca Ehrenpreis is a terrific narrator and voice performer. She did a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions and personality. She set the perfect tone for the story, adding a nice dramatic touch to enhance the story. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen
Natasha is a police detective who responds to a motor vehicle accident…the discovery is rather macabre. A dead body in the car trunk, the passenger dead, the driver unconscious, a gun and 1/2 million dollars in cash. Unfortunately, the driver is suffering from amnesia when he awakens. Natasha is inexplicably drawn to the John Doe’s (JD) eyes and, coincidentally, his identical tattoo to hers. With no place to go after leaving the hospital, but jail, Tasha volunteers to keep JD at her house, under house arrest of course, until the investigation progresses. During this time, JD and Tasha fight the chemistry between them. How will this impact Tasha’s friends w benefits relationship with a fellow police officer? Is JD a killer? Lots happening in this fast moving story…except the return of JD’s memory…lol. I enjoyed this story and highly recommend a read/listen. Excellent narration brings the characters to life with all of the various emotions.
I accepted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
