In SISTERS IN LOVE…
Danica Snow has always been the smart, practical, and appropriate sister. As a therapist, she prides herself on making reasonable, conservative choices, even if a bit boring, and as part of the Big Sister Program, she has little time for anything more in her life.
Blake Carter is a player. He never gets bored of conquering women, and with his sexy good looks and successful … looks and successful lifestyle, he has no trouble finding willing participants. When his friend and business partner dies in a tragic accident, he suddenly, desperately, wants to change his ways. The problem is, he doesn’t know how to stop doing what he does best.
When Blake walks into Danica’s office, the attraction between them is white hot, but Danica isn’t the type to give in to the heat and risk her career. Danica’s desire sets her on a path of self-discovery, where she begins to question every decision she’s ever made. Just this once, Danica wants to indulge in the pleasures of life she’s been so willingly ignoring, but with her Little Sister in turmoil and her biological sister’s promiscuousness weighing heavily on her heart, she isn’t sure it’s the right time to set her desires free.

Although Danica’s sister drove me a little nuts (actually, she was pretty annoying), it made me like Danica even more and the journey both she and Blake took in this story was so worth the read.
Started reading the series and so far not disappointed. Love the author. Great read entertaining from begining to end. A must read.
Sisters in Love
Snow Sisters
By: Melissa Foster
Narrated by: B.J. Harrison
I have listened to a lot of Melissa Foster and it is so much fun listening to the first book in her Love In Bloom series! Where it all started! Meeting the Snow sisters, and hearing Danica’s story was a pleasure! She is a relatively even keeled, ordinary woman, at least …
I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read a lot of Melissa Foster’s books yet but I have enjoyed the ones that I have read so I was pretty excited to give this one a try. I found it really easy to slip into this story and really enjoyed getting to watch Danica and Blake get to know each other. I found this book to be a very easy listen. …
Sisters in Love is book #1 in the Love in Bloom series and is book #1 in the Snow Sisters series but can be read as a standalone.
The snow sisters as you can guess follow sisters. In this particular book, Danica Snow is a therapist. Danica is also a part of a Big Sister Program, this puts her right in the middle of a troubled teen’s life as her …
Audiobook: Narrator – B.J. Harrison
Wow! My first audio by this narrator and let me just say, I am totally in love with his voice. It’s completely swoon worthy! He gave the characters a deeper emotion and connection than I would have experienced had I been reading this book. There was a time or two that the dialogue between two characters …
This one is hard for me to write because I had mixed feelings about it. I wafted between 3 and 4 stars and sometimes even lower because if the mixed feelings. At times there was too much whining but that is because it is so emotional. Danica is a therapist who finds she gives her all to her clients and sister, real sister and assigned little …
Loved this story! Wonderful characters and an interesting storyline. Enjoyed the deeper feelings involved.
I listened to this book, Sisters in Love by Melissa Foster as an audiobook narrated by B.J. Harrison. This audiobook is a great introduction into the Love in Bloom series. I enjoyed the story of Danica Snow and Blake Carter and of course getting to know all their friends especially Danica’s sister Kaylie. There was a lot going on in this book …
It appeared to be headed in a “predictable” path and then the author added a realistic scenario. My only thought was for more development of the main characters situations as they developed to their end result.
introduction to these sisters and the love in bloom series. .. its the beginning you have been looking for.
Overall 3 out of 5 stars
Performance 3 out of 5 stars
Story 3 out of 5 stars
What am I feeling? this was not a straight forward question to answer. I was on the fence through most if it. One sister I could work with while the other left …
I love how whatever book your reading you bump into characters you already met in previous books without having had to read first either
I enjoyed this book as I enjoy all Melissa Foster books!
Sweet and emotional story! This is the first book in the Snow Sisters Series. This is a great start to this Series! I loved the story of Blake and Danica. They are great characters and I also love the secondary characters. This story is sweet and emotional. The narration was well done and easy to listen, as always with BJ Harrison. I can’t wait …
What I loved about Sisters in Love was the bit of taboo to the love story. Danica is a therapist and Blake comes to her as a patient.
“Danica’s heart broke with the realization she so often had—that everyone carries baggage. Some people’s was just lighter than others’.”
As much as she feels a pull towards Blake, Danica tries to make cautious, …
This was the first Melissa Foster book I have read, but it definitely won’t be my last. Absolutely phenomenal writing – now I see why everyone loves her stories.
At the beginning of this novel, I wasn’t sure how she was going to be able to turn the love story around. Blake seemed like a womanizing pig. Danica seemed to be overly stuffy and …
It’s very nice to see a character that can see flaws in oneself and do something to change. Most times real people cant, or won’t change. This is why I read, this is how it should be
Relatable characters and plot. Psychologist Danica begins to see herself in the patients that she treats and the resulting insight becomes more than she expects. A delightful, emotional and sexy read!
This is the first book in the Love in Bloom series and the first book by Ms Foster that I’ve read. I’m on summer break so I’m doing a lot of light reading. That’s why I figured I’d pick this one up and begin the series; the extremely looonnngggg series. It looks like there are a ton of spinoffs from this series. I’ll admit that I participate in …
