Born into a political dynasty, Jenna and Barbara Bush grew up in the public eye. As small children, they watched their grandfather become president; just twelve years later they stood by their father’s side when he took the same oath. They spent their … They spent their college years watched over by Secret Service agents and became fodder for the tabloids, with teenage mistakes making national headlines.
But the tabloids didn’t tell the whole story. In Sisters First, Jenna and Barbara take readers on a revealing, thoughtful, and deeply personal tour behind the scenes of their lives, as they share stories about their family, their unexpected adventures, their loves and losses, and the sisterly bond that means everything to them.

It’s a so so book. It’s very choppy talking about college era then age 7.
But an easy read.
Loved this book. For anyone who loves families.
This is a delightful, accessible depiction of the relationship between 2 sisters who just happen to have a father and a grandfather who were Presidents of the United States.
I have admired the Bush family for many years. This next generation does not disappoint. So entertaining to read the inside story of the men and women who have loved and mentored these admirable young women. Thank you for sharing your story.
Wonderfully written and made all of them just like the rest of us pretty
normal people – people that you would love to have come and visit
your home. Love the family and the book.
Candid and enjoyable peek into the life of the Bush family.
The well-known Bush twin sisters share their own stories, individually and in the first person. From being born to George H.W. Bush and Laura Bush in Texas to their adult years today in New York, they reveal glimpses into their lives together, – joys, sadnesses, relationships, triumphs, and more. Their person narration further personalize this intimate book. Worth reading!
Closing this book I felt I may know a little bit more about the Bush sisters. The love that poured from the pages of this book showed them with their warts and all. Part sad, part joyful, and full of reflection where tissues may be required. Their stories told a story of their family life and how it defined them. The bond between the twin sisters is strong and caring including life’s missteps that always brought them closer together. A lovely memoir by sisters expressing their love and sharing it with us.
