Sometimes dreams come true … hunters. The forbidden potions smuggling operation has a new king and whoever this person is, he knows how to cover his tracks. Nathan can’t afford any distractions, but when he learns the girl he saved five years ago—and has been dreaming about ever since—is back in town he can’t help but think it’s not by accident. Brooke doesn’t know she’s a siren, but Nathan does. He also knows what he’s starting to feel for her goes deeper than the allure of her powers.
When Brooke’s quest to find her father lands her in harm’s way, Nathan knows he has to save her, even if it means losing himself.

Siren’s Song by Juliana Haygert a five-star read that will entrance you within its pages. This is the fifth book in the Willow Harbour series but each book is a stand-alone read, they all introduce us different to people that are all drawn to the same small special town that is Willow Harbour. When Brooke Ellis receives a letter from a man she has heard from for a long time, curiosity gets the better of her and she should know better curiosity killed the cat after all, let’s hope it doesn’t kill Brooke. When she arrives in Willow Harbour she attracts a lot of attention some she would want in the form of a certain hunter and some she wouldn’t in the form of the hunted.
These can all be read as stand-alone but I have loved the series and enjoyed getting to know all of the townsfolk of Willow Harbour seeing them pop up in each-others story’s, what I would give to have coffee at the Urban Grind. Thank you for creating a great town between the four of you and thank you Juliana Haygert for creating great characters.
Brooke is a siren that isn’t aware of her paranormal capabilities and unknowingly entrances a boy she likes in High School but a few days later her mother moves them to another state.
Fast forward five years and Brooke finds herself back in Willow Harbor searching for the father she never knew and she finds out about her powers. This I thought was pretty cool, finding out about powers you didn’t know you had, but for Brooke it left her second guessing everything and everyone. At times I felt Brooke was rather annoying with all of her second guessing but I guess (yeah I know) it makes sense, how would you know someone truly liked you for you and not because you unwittingly cast a spell on them. As for Nathan, I really liked him, actually I like all of the HUNTERS, he has a sad back story but I think its because of his back story that he is the man that he is.
This was a good addition to the Willow Harbor Series, and I look forward to reading about more of the Hunters getting their HEAs.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Brooke is a delightful, young woman who feels lost and alone in Willow Harbor. She is struggling to come to grips with her family and the gifts from her father. And Anna is spectacular as well. And Nathan just can’t accept his role in the story until, of course, he does.
Many of the characters from the previous books in the series make cameo appearances: like, Tessa and Landon from Hunter’s Revenge, Delpha, Mattie, and Pierce from Shifter’s Fate, Claire and Mason from Vampire’s Descent, as well as Selena, Eva and Nikolas from Triton’s Curse plus many others.
I was provided this book as an ARC by the author; however, the review is my honest opinion.
