Not everyone is happy with their relationships and miscommunication is happening within numerous couples. So get ready for the emotional rollercoaster ride that will have you wondering what will happen next. It’s hilarious at moments, touching in the next. Get ready to have tissues at the ready. I enjoyed the characters growth, the feels, chemistry, humor… the lively ways the characters did things that will make you- as it did me- laugh. I just enjoyed reading this and can’t wait for more in both series.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ******
Sirens in Bliss is # 7.5 in the Texas Sirens & #10 in Nights in Bliss series. Finally Leo and Wolf are to marry their sub Shelley McNamara and all of Bliss come out for their wedding. That means we get to see everyone and get an update on all the families in Bliss.
It was great to read what was happening with all the couples that have been introduced and everyday life can get in the way but in the end they all love living in Bliss.
If you want to start this series you really need to go back to the beginning! If you love ménage stories you need to read this series! I think the title of this book should be – The life and times of the townspeople in Bliss Colorado.
I loved reading Sirens in Bliss! I always look forward to the next book and the next book to come out will be Siren Reborn, coming January 7, 2020.
Reunited and it feels so good…
I couldn’t help but put these song lyrics on repeat as I headed back to Bliss, Colorado, and reconnected with many of the triads and D/s main characters Sophie Oak has introduced her readers to since the onset of her two series, Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss.
And because this is a reunion story of sorts, Oak pulls out all the stops…sending the small town of Bliss into an uproar like only its citizens can do, and while everyone gathers for the wedding of the century, what readers get throughout the pages of Sirens in Bliss is a cornucopia of struggles, drama, sexy times, and heartfelt discussions that truly capture the human spirit in all its chaotic and extraordinary glory: the highs and lows, ups and downs, everything and anything that a couple or a triad union go through to contend with their pasts and presents in order to have the future they all want with one another.
Devoted readers of both series will revel in catching up with their favorite characters and experiencing what they’ve come to expect from these heroes and heroines and in true Oak fashion, there are discoveries, revelations, steamy encounters, and a few surprises written into the plot to keep characters and readers on their toes until the very last page.
4 Poison Apples
Wedding bells are ringing in the town of Bliss, Colorado. A trip to the alter is planned for Wolf, Leo and Shelley. Sounds pretty simple, doesn’t it? Well – it wouldn’t be Bliss without a bit of drama mixed into the fray. With the addition of Wolf and Leo’s mother in town, things will certainly get twisted for a bit. After all – how many futures were hanging on the healing powers of the beet??
What else is brewing when folks begin to question their roles in a family dynamic? Stefan is struggling with the impending birth his wife is facing. Then the trio of Aidan, Lexi, and Lucas are showing signs that their triad is crumbling. All of the couples that readers have come to love throughout the different Bliss sagas will grace the covers of this book. It is a reunion of sorts that will shed light on your favorite couples, triumphs and hardships. Pull up a seat to the drama that will unfold at your feet. Welcome home Bliss residents…..welcome home!
Pardon my smirk, but as I write this review I can’t help but think about some of the crazy antics that happened in Sirens in Bliss.
Let’s start with Shelley, Leo and Wolf and what’s supposed to be their dream wedding—one involving friends and family. And the calamities that ensue—sweat lodge, beet ceremony, long lost relations suddenly reappearing…
Shelley, Leo and Wolf want to get to the next step—married life and their happily ever after. But along the way, they’re discovering that perhaps they’re not all walking the same path. They’re discovering that perhaps they’ve been hiding some deep fears that they should have discussed long ago.
And speaking of fears. Stephan, damn buddy. Women have babies every day. It’s natural. It’s safe most of the time. Nope, it’s not something you can control, but you can control how you let your fears live your life. But don’t worry, Jen will be topping you from the bottom soon—just make sure you’re man enough, Dom enough to handle it.
And then there’s Lexi, Aiden and Lucas. They’re all feeling a bit lost. Definitely a bit lonely. Forgotten. And they’re all madder than a hornet. But they’re not talking. They’re not communicating. And what’s the single most important aspect of a D/s relationship? Yep, open, honest communication. Time for Aiden to Dom up and take control and pass out some disciplinary swats. Lexi and Lucas need him more than ever.
So hang on to your hats while some of your favorites from Bliss and Texas come together to celebrate Shelley, Leo and Wolf. Sirens in Bliss is a fun, sexy, smart, romantic reunion and I couldn’t put it down.
Epic! Loved this book so much!! It was so amazing to see all of our favorites together again! I love reunion stories! Makes me feel like the story is even more complete! Lexi Blake killed it with Sirens in Bliss! Five stars!! I promise I am moving to Bliss!
SIRENS IN BLISS is the tenth instalment in Lexi Blake’s (aka Sophie Oak) contemporary, adult NIGHTS IN BLISS and instalment 7.5 in the Texas Sirens erotic, ménage, D/s romance series focusing on the men and women who live in Bliss, Colorado.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, some scenes may not be suitable for more sensitive readers including spanking, M/M, M/M/F and M/F/M sexual scenarios.
SIRENS IN BLISS is the re-release of the 2013 novel written as Sophie Oak with additional content.
Told from several third person perspectives SIRENS IN BLISS is an ensemble story line wherein most of the previous characters, from the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado series, have gathered together to celebrate the union of Doms Leo and Wolf Meyer, to their sub Shelley McNamara but all is not well in the lives of the happily ever afters, and Lexi Blake brings the reader up close and personal as secrets, lies, fear, issues of trust, passion and the past force lovers, Doms and subs to re-evaluate the direction of their lives, going forward.
SIRENS IN BLISS follows Leo and Wolf as their past is determined to destroy their lives. From their ‘eccentric’ mother, to their absentee father Leo and Wolf are determined to protect the woman they love from the dysfunctional dynamics they once called a family.
Meanwhile Stefan Talbot struggles with his wife’s impending childbirth, threatening his relationship going forward: Aidan, Lucas and Lexi’s relationship begins to crumble as Lexi pushes away the men that she loves; and Abby Barnes-Fleetwood has a crisis of faith when issues of self-esteem force her to revisit what was and what will be.
SIRENS IN BLISS is an erotic tale focusing on the D/s relationships and love; on issues of commitment and a lack of confidence. Ghost from the past continue to haunt the lives of those we have met before yet some ghosts remain a living reminder of the h*ll they have all had to endure. The premise is entertaining and thought provoking; the romances struggle in the face of doubt, anger, secrets and heartache; the characters are familiar, colorful, rebellious and impassioned.
Sirens in Bliss was an amazing mash-up of some of our favorite duos and trios from the Bliss and Texas Sirens series as they come together to celebrate the wedding of Wolf, Leo and Shelly.
Lexi Blake has chosen to focus on a few struggling relationships with couples who have lost their way for one reason or another and gifts readers with a glimpse as how these couples find their way back to each other.
In a way that only she can, Lexi reminds readers that marriage and relationships take a lot of work and effort. It’s easy to lose yourselves in the daily worries and demands of life, even children and that it’s important to make time to be a couple (or trio!) Don’t lose the communication needed to really tell your significant other how you are feeling and keep that spark active by making a conscious decision daily to give your relationship your all.
Honestly, I loved catching up with everyone and watching my favorite characters from Texas and Colorado collide. Each duo or trios vignette was poignant and beautiful and while there were a lot of really heartwarming moments, there were also plenty of laughs as the Texas crew discovered all of the idiosyncrasies in Bliss! 5 stars.
5 Stars
We return to Bliss for the wedding of Leo, Shelley and Wolf. Leading up to the big day there is mayhem and adventure, as always. I loved catching up with all our favorite people! There is no shortage of laughs, danger, love, and babies in this installment of Bliss! So get ready to enjoy the newest adventures in Colorado with your favorite people!

5 Star Review Sirens In Bliss (Nights in Bliss, Colorado #10) by Sophie Oak
This is a reunion story, so definitely not a stand alone. It is also my favourite in the series so far. Primarily because we get to catch up on so many of our favourite couples in Bliss as we come together to celebrate the wedding of
Leo and Wolf Meyer to Shelley McNamara.
Ms. Oak gives us an update on numerous couples from Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado, what is currently happening in their relationships and what happens after the happily ever after. Not everyone is happy within their relationships and miss communication is rife with numerous couples.
There were times when I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry reading Sirens In Bliss as it was obvious that there was stress and unhappiness with some of our favourite couples.
I also worried that Leo, Wolf and Shelley might not make it to the altar and get the happily ever after that they all so richly deserved.
With the sudden re appearance of Leo and Wolf’s estranged father, Shelley refusing to take the beat and a lack of communication regarding having children, things are about to get complicated.
I particularly enjoyed the “humanization” of Stefan Talbot as he gets closer to becoming a father. The in charge Dom seems to have lost his way and I loved Jennifer’s solution to help bring back his focus.
I love Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing; to me these characters are like coming home to family and friends and this book gave me so many feels. I was riveted from start to finish, Sirens In Bliss was one of those reads I could not put down.
Sirens in Bliss was a look into several couples lives from both the Nights in Bliss series and a few couples from the Texas Sirens. Actually, couples is not an accurate term. Almost all of these couples were menage relationships.
I have not read the Texas Sirens series and I don’t feel that you have to in able to enjoy this book. I may not have known some of these characters but it didn’t keep me from enjoying learning about them. It also has me more interested in reading the Texas Sirens series after getting to know some of these characters.
The best message you get with this book is that even though a book ends with a happily ever after, there is still more to the story. You still have to work in a relationship to keep it growing and you will stumble a time or two. It’s how you handle that stumble that can make your relationship stronger.
These characters have been so much fun to get to know and I love how much everyone in the town of Bliss look out for each other. They truly behave like one big family. They may be crazy, or annoying but they are also a gift to be appreciated. I loved that feeling you get when reading a book or series with this type of setting. I’m looking forward to more in the town of Bliss.
Hail, Hail, the gang’s all here! Sirens in Bliss is a wonderful reunion story. I loved getting to see all my favorites from Texas and Bliss again. Author Lexi Blake did a fantastic job with all the vignettes of the couples and trios from her previous stories. I have loved each and every one of the Siren and Bliss stories. Lexi Blake’s imagination leads to exceptional stories. I am so glad all these books have been reissued.
That was amazing! Like really, really amazing – we often get to catch up with characters in series as we move onto to others, but rarely do we get, what is in essence, a reunion book.
One of the few duo’s, not trio’s, is our first couple. Super-duper control freak Stefan, King of Bliss, is having a freak-out life as Jen becomes ready to give birth to their son. This was amusing, though it shouldn’t have been so funny, to watch Stef completely lose his mind, and very nearly his wife, until he figures things out. This is a good, old fashioned, happily ever after and baby makes three!
In this story, we catch up with our soon-to-be-married Leo, Wolf and Shelley from the Siren series, though we first met Wolf in Bliss. Jitters and some uncertainty still linger though they want to be together, but just wondering what the future will bring them. This is our transformative story, finally figuring everything out with complete clarity
Then we have one of our Bliss couples, Laura, Rafe and Cam. We know they just adopted their beautiful daughter, but they have been flying under the radar lately. We see Cam quite a bit, but never really caught up with what was going on with Rafe and Laura. This is our poignant story, these three are emotional without being over the top. They have partially figured out where they are and what they are doing but never did finalize anything completely
The final trio is on the edge of losing it all. Aiden, Lexi and Lucas had one of the bumpiest and heart-wrenching stories to get together. They still seem like the kids of the bunch and are still trying to protect and control things for each other as well. Lexi seems to be causing the issues, but deeper fault lines show just where Aiden has lots to learn. Luckily, Lexi still has her mom around to kick her butt when needed, and Aiden has several Dom’s around to set him straight.
While the whole crew is about, we do get a check in with Julian, Finn and Danielle; Chase and Ben are around, of course Mel and Cassidy are front and centre. No Bliss story would be complete without Max, Rye and Rachel and Callie and Zane make their appearances as well
I have to say, the most exciting surprise was the final chapter. The authour stated it was for the fans, and I couldn’t agree more – ‘we’re the best because we’re the first and have been doing it longer’ and in every book, in every scene they appear, it feels like coming home. Thank you for the Abby, Jack and Sam fix, they only need one chapter, but they are the heart of these stories, and no book is complete without them!
I have to say I so wish Bliss was a real place. I say it every time. These characters are so alive for me. I loved this book! I loved reconnecting with all our couples. It was so funny that I was giggling all the way thru. It was also steamy. All of our favorite characters reconnecting. I have to say that my favorite part was Hi and Bambi. The second was Shelley saying she had to take the beet.
The whole part of the Bliss phone tree is just hilarious! The invasion is coming. I promise you this book is so worth the read.
Find out what happened with Stef and Jennifer, Rafe, Laura, and Cam, Lexi, Aiden, and Lucas as they all come together for Shelley, Wolf and Leo’s wedding. Jennifer is expecting a baby anytime but Stef is panicking because he’s afraid he’ll lose Jen. Rafe is feeling lost because he has no job but gets an offer for one in Miami. Lexi is writing and not spending anytime with Aiden and Lucas. All are hiding a secret but will it cause them to lose the people they love?
Ms. Blake brings back many of her characters in this story. Funny, sad, and very hot. I hope this makes sense, if not I’m sorry. Too fully understand who everyone is, it’s best to read the others.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for the author *
Shelley, Leo, and Wolf are getting married in the men’s hometown of Bliss and everyone is invited so what better time to catch up with the goings on of all of the Siren and couples of Bliss?
Lexi Blake takes some of her most exciting pairs and menages and checks in on what is happening with them now. Rafe has a big decision to make one that can change everything for Laura and Cam. Lexi, Aiden, and Logan have grown apart because of Lexi’s writing taking off but is that all there is to it? Jenn and Stef are having problems and Stef is going to have to get over himself. Max is up to his usual shenanigans and Leo is fascinated by him. Cassidy is making sure that the alien queen isn’t marrying her boys, Julian is there to add dignity and almost everyone else makes a least a small appearance to round out the cast (of crazy characters).
This is a great book of catching up, humor in abundance, some tearjerking scenes, and of course, enough heat to melt the highest snowdrift. If you enjoyed these characters and their stories you will absolutely love this book that allows a glimpse into the married lives and their not always perfect happily ever afters. Once you open the book, be prepared to stay where you are until you are done because Lexi didn’t scrimp on the feels, the laughs the sexy, or the love in this one.
OK I was laughing out loud in the first paragraph of the first page this book and found myself chuckling throughout the entire story. The Texas Sirens contingent journeys to Bliss to celebrate Leo, Shelley and Wolf’s wedding. When the two groups co-mingle, the results are funny, madcap and zany. Events occur that touching, heartfelt and emotional. There’s some deception, some coercion, a bit of emotional blackmail and some behind the scenes plotting. There were a few “Aha” moments and I got teary eyed a couple of times. Some of the couples and triads are having a few marital growing pains, misunderstandings and a lack of communication. It takes some open frank conversations that result in facing some inconvenient truths. Getting insight into the other side of the story from someone standing on the outside gives perspective to the problem.
