I really enjoyed this adventure in Willow Fork. Gabby’s spa has experienced a murder and massage therapist Natalie Buchanan is the prime suspect. She has already killed a man after all. In her defense it was a sadistic poser Dom who had kidnapped at least 3 women and abused them horrifically. So the dude deserved it. Julian Lodge sends his on investigators, Ben and Chase Dawson, to find out what happened. Ben and Chase are twins who share everything, even their women. Ben is sweet and Chase is surly and sarcastic and both are Doms. The is lots of action and suspense plus small town gossip, a crazy sister, babysitting duties, a precious possessive 4 year old, lots of growling Doms, drugs, a strip club, lots of hot steamy scenes, a time for healing and fighting and love.
Read all the books in the series, they are all great. Lexi Blake always delivers a fun, fast paced, entertaining read. As soon as they are available I buy all her books.
Who are Nat, Tony, and Hawk? What happened? Who is Cody? Oh, I love Chase! How he feels/thinks about his now-married friends is funny. What happens one day at Nat’s job? Ben is a hoot when he, Georgia, Logan, and Kitten get to the resort! Oh, good grief! What happens when Ben goes looking for Chase and finds Nat? Who is Tate? What is everyone’s involvement behind what happened to Kitten, Gretchen, and Natalie? Read and see!

Siren Unleashed by Lexi Blake and Sophie Oak is book 7 in the Texas Sirens Series. This is the story of
Natalie Buchanan, Ben and Chase Dawson. I have read the previous books which I do feel added to my enjoyment of this one. But, I did think you could make it a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Natalie has been running from her past and landed in a town she hope to make a safe fresh start Ben and Chase are out to solve a murder that is pointing to Natalie.
Hot exciting read.
Chase and Ben are one. No really, they are those twins that feel each others emotions, the pain, the happiness, all of it. They are connected, whether they want to be or not. They play their roles, but during the course of the book they realize they are not two halves of one whole, they are two wholes that need the other. They need the other to help them regulate, because they are prone to extremes. They need the other balance, because they are prone to get unbalanced. They need the other to be happy, because being apart makes them miserable. Over the course of the book, they realize they need Natalie to keep them sane, because, well, they tend to get tangled in their own tangents when they go off on them
It isn’t easy reading a story about someone who has been violated, hurt, abused, and destroyed in so many ways. Natalie made my heart ache, Logan asking for advice from Natalie made by heart ache, my breath seize, and my brain shut down. Natalie’s answer though, that was the moment you knew she was herself, the new her, that took her life from before, and her life during, and was making a new life not for after, but for now. I couldn’t have loved a character more than Nat at that time, and my heart couldn’t have hurt more than it did for Logan at that moment.
This really is a story about three people becoming the person they need to be now. Ben always thought he had to be the good, sane, and happy twin. He learns he can be bad, crazy, and grumpy. Chase always thought he was the downer, the logical, and the socially awkward twin. He learns he can be happy, act out, and get along with people, when needed. Natalie thought she had lost the innate part of herself due to her kidnapping and torture. She learned she could trust and find herself core again, and she wasn’t going to be robbed of anything because of a madman.
Of course, we get the crew. Julian, Finn, and Dani have their progeny. Logan and Georgia have their meet cute, and it is awesome. We travel to Willow Fork, and you know what that means – “Apparently he twisted a couple of vertebrae trying to get Olivia out of a tree. She was rebelling against carrots. She doesn’t like carrots.” and then I instantly felt a bond with little Olivia Barnes-Fleetwood, because carrots do indeed suck! I don’t think I will ever stop fan girl squeeing everytime Jack Barnes shows up in a Siren book, and I hope I never have to. That man is the epitome of….. well, just everything, alpha, Dom, sweet, caring, tender, tough, protective, funny, loving, decisive, just, well everything <3
Reread with this new updated edition and I loved all of the updates!! Lots of McKay-Taggart tie ins (my favorite was having Case and Theo Taggart arrive for a nostalgic cameo – all pre-Hope/mind-wiping days when Theo was young and happy).
While Siren Unleashed contained the Lexi Blake formula that brings me back to her books again and again (mystery to solve, suspenseful danger, and super sexy scenes where the characters fall in love) I loved the twin brother element to Siren Unleashed the best. Ben and Chase were a lot of fun to read and continually had be laughing when they were together. Lexi writes the BEST banter between her characters, especially when one is grumpy and the other is not. Sarcasm is unleashed when these characters are able to pick and prod at one another and there is nothing like the bond between brothers, and better yet, that special bond between twins. (Also see my favorite moment mentioned above when Case and Theo arrive. I almost forgot that the baby Tag’s were twins too, so this particular scene is absolutely priceless).
Ben and Chase have that special twin bond where they can feel each others emotions on a deep level. And while Ben typically tends to be the happy, charming twin Chase is known for being the grouchy, hold-nothing-back twin. They are two halves of one whole so sharing one woman has always been how they saw their future. They immediately feel a connection to Natalie when they meet her, both knowing they want more than just a brief moment with her. Because they can feel each other’s emotions they know Natalie is special because she brings out intense feelings in both of them which hasn’t happened to either of them previously. However, there is a lot they have to overcome before they can claim her, one being…the murder investigation that brought them to her side in the first place.
Natalie grew up in the BDSM lifestyle, her parents own a club, so she isn’t a tourist to community by any means, however, she was abducted, caged, and abused four years ago and she hasn’t quite been the same woman since. While most women tend to fall for the charming Dawson twin, Nat feels a connection for the big, bad Dom first, but not only does she mess things up by misidentifying the Dawson twins, she is also the prime suspect in a murder investigation. Will Ben and Chase really want to be connected to someone with her damaged past and potential murderess-stained future?
Things are always heating up down in the heart of Texas.
Chase, Ben, and Nat
This was a fun threesome but Julian was right again I really think he and Ian should start a dom/sub matchmaking business together they would make a fortune.
Chase and Ben our sexy twins from Dallas and Nat, sweet Nat who had been through so much she wasn’t sure she wanted to survive but then she met Chase and he helped, then she met Ben even though she thought it was Chase and he helped and that was just the beginning of this funny, playful relationship, in the end, they all survived and they all helped each other and found love together.
Can’t wait for Kitten’s story I seriously love that chick.
I love this series! I found Chase and Ben perfect for Nat! They were able to pull her out of the darkness! I loved little Joshua. He was such a sweetheart!
Texas Sirens Book Seven.
Natalie Buchanan has made it through hell and back, but when a new attack is blamed on her she believes someone else is after her. Knowing that her boss has sent in an investigator doesn’t stop her from seeking relief from the new Dom, even though she knows he must be the same man. Chase Dawson is willing to master Natalie, but he feels more than he expected when she cries in his arms. He decides to give her time while he figures out his own plan. Meanwhile, Chase’s twin brother, Ben, arrives at the resort. When Natalie begs him to go upstairs with her, Ben doesn’t hesitate. Now that both brothers have fallen for the pink-haired beauty, neither can imagine letting her go.
If you’re looking for a story with a survivor, twin Doms and new dangers emerging, this is the book for you!
I’m so happy to have finally gotten Ben and Chase’s HEA and it was definitely worthy of the dynamic duo. As much as I adored the romance and Natalie’s story, I think my favorite part of the book was Ben and Chase’s twin connection and learning more about the Dawsons. Now, I not only want Kitten’s story, Logan, Georgia, and Seth’s story, Josh and Chloe’s story (I know they’re babies, but how could I not want to see that through after the tease in the epilogue?!?) – I also NEED the story on the older 3 Dawson brothers! Is that already a thing – can someone PLEASE let me know? Meanwhile, I also really love how all of Lexi Blake’s worlds blend in her books and I’m convinced now more than ever (especially after meeting the baby Tags) that I HAVE to start the Masters & Mercenaries series ASAP! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.
Natalie is a submissive and was kidnapped. She killed the vicious Dom and freed her and two other women. Now years later Nat works at a spa as a massage therapist. When her client is found dead in her room, she is the prime suspect. Ben is a Dom and so is his twin brother Chase. They are investigators brought in to clear Nat’s name. She scenes with one brother and has sex with the other thinking it’s the same one. She has been out of the life for a while and doesn’t know if she can go back. Ben and Chase will do everything to help her get back to herself. But when she’s kidnapped again, can they get to her before they lose her forever?
Funny, sex, action, and mystery. Two Doms and a shy submissive. I love Ms. Blake’s stories they are filled with love and happiness.
Of all of the Texas Sirens books by author Lexi Blake, this one might be my favorite, and the reason is simple: the Dawson brothers. Two sides of the same coin, two halves of a whole, however you want to say it, these two are the perfect foils for each other, and the perfect fit for Natalie Buchanan. Their ways might not be my ways, but, oh, my, are they all perfect together.
Although this book is part of a re-release of one of Lexi’s older series, it is new to me, and I am enjoying the heck out of it. I do have to admit that I get a little bit confused sometimes, what with the inter-mixing of the Bliss, CO, characters with the Texas Sirens characters, and then there are the folks from McKay-Taggart, but, really, they are all one happy family. The shenanigans are many, and Lexi does a fabulous job of marrying humor with intrigue and suspense, all along with a healthy dose of heat, making for some immensely readable books that I just can’t put down.
Because this book is a good ways into the series, it does help to have read the others in not only this, but the other two series that I mentioned above, but, heck, I say that, if you haven’t read the others, jump on in. It will just inspire you to go back and get all caught up, because they are just so entertaining.
SIREN UNLEASHED is an easy 4 stars for me, and I cannot wait to see what’s coming next. Seriously, join the club (see what I did there?); while these books are not your average romances, you don’t want to miss them. Prepare yourself for a bumpy ride, and enjoy!
Natalie Buchanan came to Willow Fork looking for a new start. She needed a safe place to recover after escaping from a sadist who tortured her and two other submissives, keeping them locked in cages as sex slaves. Working at as a massage therapist in an exclusive resort has given her a safe place to live and work. But, when one of her clients is murdered and she becomes a suspect, Natalie finds herself fearing for her life again.
Private Detectives and Doms, Ben and Chase Dawson were sent to Willow Fork to both protect Natalie and to investigate the murder. What sounds like an easy case becomes extremely complicated quickly, however, when Ben and Chase both develop feelings for Natalie. Neither twin is willing to give up their claim, and Natalie’s horrifying experience at the hands of a sadist makes claiming her as theirs more difficult that they expected.
As their relationship is explored, more women are found missing and everyone fears that Natalie’s past has caught up with her. They’ll need to keep her safe while also helping her to heal and learn to love and trust in her submissiveness again.
Siren Unleashed was a thrilling step back into Willow Fork! I adored Ben and Chase. They really are two halves of a whole and I enjoyed watching how they really need one another to be happy in life. Natalie was also an amazing heroine. She was ridiculously strong to overcome her experiences and try to find her way back to the life that makes her feel whole and happy . . . even when it was that life that caused her kidnapping.
We also get to spend some time with characters in upcoming books. I’m completely falling in love with Kitten, one of the women held with Natalie. I love watching her start to bloom and can’t wait to see how she fully reclaims her life. Fans of Bliss will also enjoy how much Logan is in this book. The Dawson’s sister, Georgia really gives him a run for his money and it’s fabulous! While they don’t have their HEA yet, I know it’s coming in a few books and it’s going to be explosive. With Georgia’s entrance, we start seeing the first signs of Logan truly coming back to life.
Siren Unleashed was thrilling with twists and turns . . . after all, their is a sadist on the loose looking to recapture what got away. It’s super steamy as Natalie reclaims her sexuality. There are also some really beautiful moments between characters, such as Kitten & Natalie, Ben & Chase, and even one spectacular gem of a conversation between Logan & Natalie.
All of Lexi Blake’s worlds collide in this book with characters from the Sirens, Bliss and Mckay-Taggart world coming together. Siren Unleashed is truly an epic tale. 5 stars.
“’ . .”
by Lexi Blake, writing as Sophie Oak, was such a great read! It was emotional, powerful, bold, and SEXY as all get out! I had so much fun falling in love with Ben and Chase Dawson for the second time, and Natalie was just as strong as I remember. I recall book 7 in the series being one of my favorite ménage reads from this author, and that holds true today. If you’re looking for a mouthwatering erotic romance that brings you all of the feels…and more, look no further! This will surely satisfy your craving for a beautiful happily ever after.

5 Coming Back to the World She Loves Stars!!
With each book in this series I say it’s my favorite but this one is my favorite. I felt all of Natalie’s pain physically and emotionally and how she lived in fear. After what she went through no one would blame her for not wanting to be in the BDSM world as a participant let alone in a D/s relationship…that is until she meets identical twins Ben and Chase!
These men are called in to investigate a murder than on the surface appears to have been committed by Natalie. But before the investigation begins, these three meet individually and there’s an immediate deep and soul stirring connection. What I found fascinating about Ben and Chase is their twin connectivity. It’s truly a little freaky…but hey it pays off in so many ways throughout this book!
While they’re hired to investigate this murder we see them falling in love too which is not what any of them were looking for. But their chemistry cannot be denied. We’re thrown deep into the BDSM world with this book along with other not so legal things and each secondary character plays a very pivotal role in this story. My heart truly broke for Kitten too. She’s a true survivor, just like Natalie and Gretchen but on a different level.
I found myself on the edge of my seat as the investigation is underway and while that’s working, the three of them explore what their world could look like and holy wowza they’re H.O.T.!! I fell in love with the three of them so hard! Ben and Chase are sexy, so alpha and have hearts. Especially when it comes to the woman they want to be their sub! But what I really loved is how they listened to her and while it’s definitely a D/s relationship, they truly care about what Natalie is feeling and taking things slow given everything that’s happened. It just works for them.
Along the way to solving this crime, and I NEVER saw the bad guys coming, we’re entertained by Ben and Chase’s sister, Georgia and she’s a freaking hoot! We also get drop-ins by some of my favorite Taggert-McKay characters too! I’m a little sad that we’re nearing the end of this series because I can never get enough of this world that Ms. Blake has created!!
In typical Lexi Blake fashion, Siren Unleashed is the perfect balance of intrigue, steam and humor!
Chase and Ben are twins who can practically read each other’s minds and feel each other’s emotions. They are complete opposites in so many ways and are each a half that make a whole. Chase is the anti-social, brooding, tech savvy twin and Ben is the more laid back, social one. Ben has always wanted to settle down with his brother and a woman that they both love. They just hadn’t found the right woman until Natalie. She has lived in hell as a sex slave but has found her way out, but has not completely healed emotionally from her traumatic past until Chase and Ben come into her life.
I absolutely loved this story and these characters! It wasn’t easy but by trusting each other and getting rid of all the obstacles that stood in their way they all found the balance and love they desperately needed to find their happily ever after.
Siren Unleashed has gotten better with age and new embellishments. The Dawson brothers are still drool worthy and all Alpha hotness. Natalie finally fully embraces her submission after surviving a nightmare. I love that Logan seems to finally come into his own as an Alpha male and Dom while slowly putting his past where it belongs, behind him. Georgia Dawson provides wonderful comic relief as she pouts and stamps around like a four year old while being drawn into Logan’s web. Mix in a murder investigation, some inrigue and a couple handfuls of Lexi Blake one liners…..perfection
Chase and Ben and two halves of a whole. I enjoyed the way these brothers communicated and also felt what the other twin was feeling. Natalie had been a spunky, fun girl before the abduction. I enjoyed the way she was able to let go and feel with Chase and Ben. She wasn’t expecting it, but they were totally there for her and wanted her to feel again. And boy did she! I enjoyed the mystery and the looming danger this story held. I also enjoyed the way this book overlapped into the Bliss series. I enjoyed these characters, plus Chase and Ben’s sister, Georgia. She was a hoot! This story was captivating and intriguing. I couldn’t read it fast enough!
5 Stars
Siren Unleashed by Sophie Oak(Lexi Blake) is the seventh book in the Texas Sirens series. Even though it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone.(But I do suggest reading the other books as well!) This book took the top spot in this series! It was suspenseful, full of some great one-liners, and characters that were well developed. I couldn’t put it down!
Natalie had a devastating event that changed the course of her life. Now years later, she’s still unable to move on. But when two men enter her life…everything changes once again. Ben and Chase are two completely opposite people. Even with being twins. When they are hired to investigate a case, neither were expecting to meet a pink haired beauty that would change both of their lives…
I loved this story so much!! The characters were absolutely amazing and I connected with all three of them. I adored the storyline and I am looking forward to reading more in the series!
Siren Unleashed is Book 7 of the Texas Siren series (it is a complete standalone) and a great addition to this series. One thing that you can count on reading books by this author is that they will leave you satisfied at the end.
Chase, Ben and Natalie are all great characters with numerous aspects that makes them intriguing, funny, heartbreaking and swoon worthy. Although there were definitely times that I wanted to throttle them as well.
This book is definitely a great read and one that should be savored. There are going to be intense moments that will have you wanting to cry and scream but hang in there because it all works out!
