Siren Unleashed must be one of my favorite Texas Sirens reads. I loved everything about the book, it had a great plot, awesome characters, appearances of so many other characters from past books plays lots of chemistry and some steamy bits.
Nat’s past took away her ability to partake in a D/S relationship like she wants, well that was until the Dawson twins come to help clear her of a murder charge. Not only does she find what jhas been missing but the twins find what they never expected.
I love how the Sirens books are crossing over with those of the Nights of Bliss Series and this book continues that.
Look out for Jack, Sam and Abby’s 4 year old son Josh, he is adorable.
Siren Unleashed is book seven of the Texas Sirens series. It was yet another great story. I loved Ben, Chase and Natalie.
Lexi Blake knows how to write a great ménage story as well as a great BDSM one! I can’t wait for more. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Love Love LOVE!
I think this is one of the better, original stories that Lexi Blake has written. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE everyone of these books in this series, but each of these characters that she brings to life left an impact on my heart. From Natalie’s trials and tribulations to Chase and Ben, with their stubborn bull-headedness. Then you have to include little Josh who you can’t fall in love with.
“If you want to enjoy the lifestyle again, you have to take the step to trust someone.”
Every time I pick up a Siren book, I know I will be swept away from reality and entwined in a world of lust, suspense, and pure romance where men cater to the women and love them with everything they have. Lexi, my dear, please don’t ever stop writing!
The reality of Natalie’s past is the stuff that nightmares are made of. After being kidnapped, Natalie was beaten and held captive. The darkness from her time in captivity has left Natalie broken and battered. One person was there to keep Natalie’s head above water…..Kitten. The two have a bond that few can understand, but each knows how to offer comfort when the past comes knocking.
Now Natalie finds herself in the middle of a murder that has stumped law enforcement. To ensure that Natalie’s interests are protected, Julian Lodge sends Ben and Chase Dawson to offer up their own expertise on the crime. The duo is requested to make sure Natalie is safe and sound during the local police investigation. Neither gentleman could have predicted the fireworks that would ensue when coming face to face with Natalie.
Working at Willow Fork has offered Natalie the sanctuary and peace of mind she needed to put the events from her past away. Now that a murder has happened in Natalie’s massage space, the fear that the past is once again haunting Natalie comes to fruition. With Ben and Chase offering comfort while giving Natalie a taste of the BDSM lifestyle, nothing is off limits where this trio is concerned. As the details of the murder unfold, Ben and Chase quickly realize there is more to Natalie’s past and future than meets the eye.
Siren Unleashed is the latest rewrite from author Lexi Blake. Centered around identical twins – Ben and Chase – Natalie finds herself pulled into the BDSM lifestyle in the most interesting of ways. With a little bondage, spanking, and really hot ménage sex there is no wonder that Blake’s Texas Sirens series is one that will tempt any reader. With a cameo from some of your favorite McKay – Taggart characters, there is no doubt that Siren Unleashed will tempt any reader of the ménage persuasion!
I always love heading back into one of Sophie Oak’s settings. The small town feel and the fact that readers get to catch up with past characters as well as be introduced to new ones in this community of quirky, passionate, people who found a place for them to heal, regroup, and move forward.
In Siren Unleashed, Oak gives readers twin brothers, Ben and Chase Dawson’s story, allowing them to find Natalie Buchanan, a submissive who truly needs their differing demeanors and attitudes in order to work through her last Dom’s abusive mistreatment, causing her to no longer trust men and to leave the world and the lifestyle that has been a part of her life for quite some time.
The fact that a murder is what bring the Dawson twins to Willow Fork Tranquility Spa is an intriguing way to bring the heroes into the heroine’s life, but what makes it even more unusual is that Natalie is the prime suspect in the case, which means that any form of personal relationship among this threesome may seem a bit unprofessional due to the precarious situation Natalie finds herself in as well as the fact that her past doesn’t seem completely behind her.
Throughout the course of Siren Unleashed, readers see just how much Ben and Chase’s personalities contrast, but what also becomes clear pretty early on is just how necessary their opposite traits are for showing Natalie that she is safe with them…that she can rely on them taking care of her body, her mind, and her heart…that they will protect her at all costs, even if it’s from herself.
In order for Natalie to fight her demons…to move forward in a lifestyle that once helped to define her, she has to learn to trust again…to put herself in her Doms’ more than capable hands and know that they will meet her wants and her needs without stepping over boundaries that she isn’t willing to cross, and boy do Ben and Chase do just that.
One characteristic of this series that I always enjoy is the fact that the Oak always allows readers to catch up with past characters as well as recognize that each book intersects with other ones in order for readers to see things big picture wise and understand where everything falls in line to match up with the other stories in some way.
It doesn’t matter if the author writes as Lexi Blake or as Sophie Oak, I’ll read everything she publishes, and I’m excited to continue to see what she has in store for her small town characters as well as the larger than life ones who she’s so good at crafting and developing.
4 Poison Apples
I loved how this book not only gave readers the story of Nat, Ben, and Chase, but also provided more insight into a number of supporting characters who I am now even more curious about and whose own books I’m itching to get my hands on. As always, there was romance, sex, and suspense, and Lexi Blake never fails to titillate readers with the scorching heat between her main characters, but it’s never just about the sex either. There’s a whole lot of story that goes on and I admired Nat’s courage to make the most of her life post-kidnapping, torture, and false imprisonment. She definitely had that connection with the twins, although each brother shared a unique one with Nat. The suspense brought in the thrills and I very much enjoyed the book from cover to cover. Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak has become my go-to when it comes to menages, not only because of the quality of the writing but because it’s not merely about the sex or the lifestyle with her characters. There’s emotional healing and the realization that sometimes, love isn’t something limited to “only” two people. I’m giving Siren Unleashed five stars.
Whew! This may be my newest favorite in the Siren Series! I am so in love with the twists and turns, the suspense and all the love! Natalie, Ben, and Chase are all beautifully written characters in a story that just sucked me in! I LOVE LEXI BLAKE!!
SIREN UNLEASHED is the seventh instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM , romance series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is twin detectives / Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and massage therapist / submissive Natalie Buchanan’s story line. SIREN UNLEASHED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion. Ben was first introduced in book six SIREN IN BLOOM; Chase was first introduced in book five SIREN IN WAITING. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series.
NOTE: SIREN UNLEASHED is the re-release of the 2012 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries series, and Nights in Bliss, Colorado.
WARNING: SIREN UNLEASHED contains scenes of M/F/M ménage, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers. There is also reference to sexual slavery, abduction, torture and rape.
Told from several third person perspectives including Ben, Chase and Natalie SIREN UNLEASHED follows the Dom/sub relationship between twin detectives / Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and massage therapist / submissive Natalie Buchanan. Months earlier Natalie, along with two other submissives was kidnapped and held prisoner by a man who believed himself Master to their slaves. Healing but alone, Natalie now works as a massage therapist at The Club spa and resort, where her latest client is found murdered, and Natalie was the last to see him alive. Enter detectives and Dominants Ben and Chase Dawson, and the men with whom Natalie will fall in love. What ensues is the building sexual, Dom /sub, and love relationship between Ben, Chase and Natalie, and the search for the truth behind the murder of the self-proclaimed furniture king of East Texas.
Natalie struggles to move on from the past. Well versed in the world of BDSM and Dom/sub relationships Natalie battles the demons that continue to haunt her days and nights. Meeting detectives Ben and Chase Dawson stirs something deep within our story line heroine, something she long thought buried and dead. Ben and Chase Dawson, although identical twins, are as different as night and day when it comes to their need to Dominate and control. Bringing a broken submissive into their lives meant starting from the bottom up in an effort to help Natalie heal from the atrocities inflicted upon her very soul.
The relationship between Ben, Chase and Natalie is one of immediate attraction but a relationship based in Natalie’s need for control; to submit to a Master that is able to control the demons that continue to control her life. Ben Dawson is the more empathetic of the two brothers; Chase knows what Natalie needs, from the very start. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic, and intense. There are some scenes of spanking and light bondage.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many of the previous story line couples and characters, Ben and Chase’s sister Georgia, as well as a number of the McKay –Taggart clan from Masters and Mercenaries.
SIREN UNLEASHED is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and trust. The premise is sensitive and gripping; the romance is spicy and provocative; the characters are sassy and spirited but struggle with memories of the past. SIREN UNLEASHED is an intimate and edgy look at the recovery and acceptance; love and happily ever after.
5 Star Review Siren Unleashed (Texas Sirens #7) by Sophie Oak
Each book in this series gets better and better. This time it is twin detectives Ben and Chase Dawson who will find their happily ever after, that is as long as they can keep the woman in question Natalie Buchanan alive.
I have been waiting for this book since the Dawson twins were first mentioned at The Club and were introduced into the series. I imagined that these two brothers when they could agree on something or someone, would be a powerful combination and one that would be hard to ignore and I was right.
There were times when I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry and I worried that Ben, Chase and Natalie would not be able to get the happily ever after that they all so richly deserved. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren Unleashed was one of those reads I could not put down.
