Connell Kuren doesn’t love being a paparazzo… He’s a member of the most scorned profession in Hollywood, but he’s good at it, and a hard-ass to boot.He might also be considered an ambulance chaser, though not for the disreputable reason he chases celebrities. Connell has the ability to heal, and at the sound of a siren, he is drawn to those in need.Life is going okay until his pushy paparazzi … paparazzi nature almost gets someone killed.Rowan Bren suffers post-traumatic stress and a permanent headache following a near-death experience at the hands of her mortal enemy. After months, she still isn’t right, but she won’t be held back from seeking her bond mate, Con, any longer. She travels to Los Angeles motivated to help her friend, Idris, with his brilliant plan to locate their missing people. But Rowan’s top priority in the City of Angels is to find Con. She doesn’t know where he lives, but she’s not worried, because her crystal will lead her straight to him. When she trips into his world, she finds a man so different from the person she expects, she fears he might not be Con at all. That he might be possessed by an evil force like the one that almost killed her.

Received ARC. A quick moving non stop rollercoaster of adventure.
I found this book well written with well developed characters. I enjoyed the storyline and found it interesting. The story drew me in and is a book I would recommend reading. (I received this book as an arc and am leaving a voluntary honest review)
Siren Song is the third book in The Chameleon Effect series, and although we still have Idris and Cadi, Rowan and Connell take the front. They were a matched pair but were separated, neither of them old enough to properly remember the other. When Cadi and Rowan end up going to LA to meet up with Idris, Rowan feels the pull of her crystal and searches for her other half. Unfortunately, due to circumstances in book two, Rowan suffers from PTSD which does have consequences for her.
This is the third book in the series, and definitely needs to be read as such. Trust me, it won’t make much sense if you just start with this one. However, if you do read the first two, you will re-enter a world of Livrans, and lost children, soul mates and crystals.
It is perfectly paced, with plenty of build up and action. You stay with Idris and Cadi as their relationship progresses, and yet there is plenty of time for Rowan and Connell. An excellent story with a cast of characters that you will both like and loathe.
A brilliant addition to the series and definitely recommended by me.

Archaeolibrarian – I Dig Good Books!
I loved this book. I love the concept behind the series. I love the character development and the new characters we meet along the way. I look forward to the next book in the series. I would not recommend reading this book before reading book one (Silken Scales), but both this book and book one ended well without leaving you hanging on a cliff hanger. I feel like you probably could read this book without reading book one first, but it is definitely more enjoyable with the background laid down in book one. I personally would also read book 2 (Perfect Pitch) before this one, but I don’t think reading this one before book 2 would detract from either book, because each book is a complete story within the overall saga.
Alex Hayes you did it again, amazing work! I really enjoyed the first two books and this one. I can not get enough. The characters and the story line are great. Well written with romance and adventure. Connell and Rowan will have you turning pages. I received an ARC for an honest review and I loved it!
Action packed and draws you in. Fast paced and a quick read.
Being an Arc viewer you would think …Of course this is a good review…Not the case here as This is the 3rd book in this series, and the 1st one I’ve read.Without any background on these characters they popped out at you almost immediately with their persona’s. not being a romance reader usually Sci-fi ,horror, Fantasy . this one was still good . Enjoy !!!
