You know the saying – when the cat’s away the mice will play. Or in this case, when the Dom’s away, the sub’s will get into trouble. Even though Jack has fully recovered physically from having been shot in the chest, he has withdrawn from Abby and Sam. And as such, he is no longer performing his duties. So when he disappears and only leaves a note that he is going out of town for a few days, Abby and Sam hatch a plan to get their man back. Who could have predicted some of the trouble they got themselves into? Let alone another situation that Jack ended up needing to handle at The Club. Loved the action and humor in this story, and we got an early look at Ian Taggart.
So far I’ve only read this one and book one, but they were so good, that I’m excited to read the others. The storyline is really captivating and it’s impossible to put down. Jack was definitely my favorite character! Really good book!
There are very few things better than a Lexi Blake book.
Siren in the City by Lexi Blake/ Sophie Oak is book Two in the Texas Sirens Series. Jack and Sam have married Abby but after Jack was shot, he has been pulling away. Julian Lodge calls Jack and informs him his brother is trying to blackmail them. Jack takes off, leaving only a note, and goes to deal with his half brother. Sam and Abby are upset he is shutting them out so they go to the Club that Jack and Sam used to belong to. Jack is staying there but doesn’t know they are there too. Can Abby and Sam break down the walls Jack has built or will their marriage be over?
Excellent story with BDSM, M/M, M/F/M, and two submissive about to learn how it really feels to be dominated by a Dom. They are some very funny parts, I cracked up.

SIREN IN THE CITY is the second instalment in Lexi Blake’s aka Sophia Oak’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM, ménage romance series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is the continuing story of thirty-two year old billionaire ranchers Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood, and thirty-seven year old, registered nurse Abigail ‘Abby’ Moore’s story line. SIREN IN THE CITY should not be read as a stand alone as is picks up a few months after the events of SMALL TOWN SIREN. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series.
NOTE: SIREN IN THE CITY is the re-release of the 2010 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the introduction of some of the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries series.
WARNING: SIREN IN THE CITY contains scenes of M/F/M ménage , M/M, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers.

SIREN IN THE CITY is a story of family, betrayal, acceptance and forgiveness. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the romance is energetic and steamy; the characters are colorful and lively.
Abby and Sam have to do something when Jack stops being his normal Dominant self after the shooting. They secretly follow Jack to Dallas to The Club when Julian summons him and proceed to get in all types of trouble lol. I laughed constantly and thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was steamy hot and even had a Big Tag appearance.
Love that the series is getting a new look and some new content. This continuing story of Jack and Sam and Abby really gives them the bond they needed. Bonus we get an few insights to another Lexi Blake series.
