Siren Beloved by Lexi Blake/ Sophie Oak is book 4 in the Texas Sirens Series. This is the story of Aidan O’Malley, Lexi Moore and Lucas Cameron. I have read the previous books which added to my enjoyment but I do feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Aidan left Lexi who he was to marry along with their friend Lucas. Lexi nor Lucas has gotten over Aidan leaving them but Lexi has been acting out which has lead to upset with in the club and their friends. Aidan is back wanting to make up for what he has done and to claim what he lost.
Texas Sirens Book Four.
Lexi Moore has been spiraling since her fiance, Aidan O’Malley, left her. Her best friend, Lucas Cameron, has been attempting to keep her together, but he isn’t the Dom she needs. When Aidan abandoned Lexi, he also left Lucas. Now Aidan is back and the men in Lexi’s life put together a deal for Aidan to earn his redemption. However, when Lexi’s life is put in jeopardy Aidan and Lucas decide it will be safer for them to return to Aidan’s hometown.
If you’ve been waiting for Lexi and Lucas’s story, you will not be disappointed.
Lexi Moore (Abby from Sirens #1 daughter) and Lucas Cameron (Jack Barnes’ half brother) get their turn at the Lexi Blake treatment. Spurned by Aiden O’Malley because he could not handle the thought of being in love with a man, let alone a being part of a menage, Lexi and Lucas have been floating aimlessly through life. Lucas is desperately in love with Lexi and trying to be everything she needs but can’t. Lexi is tortured by a secret she is keeping buried and crawling into bottles of Jose Cuervo to forget. When Aiden steps back into their lives, ready to be all they need, things do not go smoothly.
A story about love and redemption, Siren Beloved is a bit different than most Siren books. There is still a touch of suspense and action when a killer targets Lexi and her Doms must protect her and stop him but this story’s focus is on finding out what is truly important in life. In pushing past fears, what is expected of you and how to forgive the flaws in others. Emotions run high in this one and I suggest keeping tissues handy for Lexi’s secret. The sex steam is lowered in Siren Beloved in exchange for heartbreaking and heart healing scenes instead. The characters bonding is one of their minds and souls making for a tear-jerker read with the humorous Blake touches to take the tension down when needed.
A really nice addition to the Texas Siren’s World.
SIREN BELOVED is the fourth instalment in Lexi Blake’s (aka Sophie Oak) contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is Dom Aidan O’Malley, sub/author Lexi Moore, and switch Lucas Cameron’s story line. SIREN BELOVED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series.
NOTE: SIREN BELOVED is the re-release of the 2011 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries, and Nights in Bliss, Colorado series.
WARNING: SIREN BELOVED contains scenes of M/M/F ménage, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers.
Told from several third person perspectives including Lexi, Aidan and Lucas SIREN BELOVED follows the rekindling relationship between Dom Aidan O’Malley, sub/author Lexi Moore, and switch Lucas Cameron. Years earlier Aidan O’Malley walked out of Lexi Moore’s life, struggling with her need to be submissive, and his attraction to her best friend Lucas Cameron. Following a disastrous deployment in Iraq, Aidan has returned home, and in an effort to reclaim the man and woman he loves, has sought significant training in the art of Domination. But all does not go according to plan when his attempt at ‘anonymous play’ leads to potential heart breaking for Lucas and Lexi. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship between Aidan, Lexi and Lucas, as our trio find themselves targeted by an unknown source.
Throughout the story Lucas, Lexi and Aidan find themselves on the receiving end of threats meant to intimidate and destroy. From destruction of property, bullet wounds, car accidents and physical assault, our trio must work together in an effort to uncover the person responsible for trying to destroy their lives.
The relationship between Lexi and Lucas continued long after Aidan walked out of their lives. In an effort to aid Lexi in her ongoing downward spiral in the years since Aidan left, Lucas struggles to Dominate Lexi the way she needs to be dominated and controlled. With Aidan’s return both Lucas and Lexi must re-learn to submit to the man they never stopped loving, a submission that will bring the trio closer to their own happily ever after.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Lexi’s mother Abigail Barnes-Fleetwood, and her two husbands Jackson and Sam; Ian and Sean Taggart, Julian Lodge, as well as the introduction of security specialists Ben and Chase Dawson; Aidan’s former unit buddy Dwight, and ex-girlfriend Karen.
SIREN BELOVED is a story of second chances, betrayal, vengeance, and love. The premise is intriguing and captivating; the characters are energetic, dynamic and colorful; the romance is erotic , passionate and intense.
In a quirky town, where pretty much anything goes, a broken trio manages to find all their assorted broken pieces to forge a better, stronger relationship that gives them all more than they ever thought they would find in a town that embraces the trio and the special marriage they create. I loved this story!
.
Lexi and Aiden were engaged to be married. When he makes her choose between him and their best friend Lucas, she chooses Lucas. Aiden leaves and Lexi and Lucas try to get on with their lives. They belong to a BDSM club and do scenes but Lucas will not have sex with her until she tells him that she lives him. Lexi is keeping a secret and it’s making her reckless. So Lucas signs on with a Dom because he is a switch and he can’t give Lexi everything she needs. They find out the Master A is Aiden they are livid but it takes Lucas no time to forgive, while Lexi is harder to convince he’s changed. Someone shoots at Lexi, so Aiden and Lucas take her back to Aiden’s ranch. When Aiden was in the Army he was severely injured and has no recollection of what happened. Several accidents happen and Lucas and Aiden will do anything to keep Lexi safe. Can he get Lexi forgive him and make a life with her and Lucas?
OMG! Such a smoking hot story. You have a lawyer/sub/Dom, a former soldier/musician/ Dom, and a beautiful sub who likes to be bratty but has a heart of gold. I loved this story and I believe it’s my favorite if this series. Mystery and sex so hot it’ll set your reader up in flames.
Lexi is one hot mess! She is self destructing and taking Lucas with her. They both need someone but he left them after their one night together claiming it was a mistake. Aiden broke off his engagement to Lexi and left her and Lucas. He’s now back and ready to claim his loves but a lot has happened to all three of them plus someone is now trying to harm Lexi. This book was a super hot read. It had lot of laughs and lots of tears. Lots of action too. I really enjoyed this one.
Wasn’t sure I could forgive Aidan for walking away from Lexi and Lucas. That was an asshole move. Plus we watched while Lexi failed to overcome and Lucas doing everything he could for her. Then Aidan comes back and then I started to warm up to him. Now I love him as much as Lexi & Lucas. Sometimes love isn’t simple and the timing can be off. But when it’s meant to be it will be.
If you’re into relatively light bdsm and M/M/F stories with some suspense then this is your jam! Aiden was Lexi’s fiance until a hot night with their friend Lucas leaves him questioning himself. Lexi cannot get past this and has some other deep secrets, but is a friend and lover to Lucas. Years later can Aiden repair the trio? Will he succeed in his plan to unite them and let Lucas and Lexi know how much he loves them? Throw in a twisted friend who has secrets of his own and things get dangerous!
It took me several chapters to get into the story, but once I did I was hooked. Siren Beloved was very steamy and had a great, suspenseful story line. 4 Stars to the latest in this series!
Just try and tell me that this isn’t the book you’ve been wanting ever since Lucas and Lexi first laid eyes on each other in book 2. It was clear there was something incredibly special between them, and yet, not quite right. That was so intriguing to me. How could two people seemingly made for each other still not be quite… right?
The answer to that became very apparent right off the bat in Siren Beloved. While Julian was falling in love, so were Lexi and Lucas – and Aiden. But that all happened behind the scenes, so we only heard about them through Julian’s perspective in book 3. Hearing about how these three were together, and then NOT together, was heartbreaking. And even more heartbreaking was Lexi’s and Lucas’s unrealized efforts at moving on from that.
How do you get over someone you love desperately when they hurt you so completely? And how do you handle it when that someone waltzes back into your life with a declaration that they’ve changed for the better? Lexi and Lucas were understandably angry and wary when Aiden came back, especially in the way he did it. I, for one, don’t think they got angry enough. I would’ve been absolutely furious – not just at Aiden, but also at Julian and Jack.
But, I think moreso than any other trio we’ve seen before from Lexi Blake, Lexi, Lucas and Aiden truly NEEDED each other. They completed each other. And alone, they just weren’t enough. They all had to overcome a ton of personal issues in order to get to a place of love and unconditional trust again.
It just wouldn’t be a Lexi Blake book without a touch of danger and mystery. You would think poor Lexi had been through enough after being kidnapped by Julian’s psychopathic ex. But, it appears she’s a magnet for trouble. Lucky us, because that makes for a really exciting book.
This was the story I had been waiting for and Lexi Blake didn’t disappoint. Lexi, Lucas and Aiden’s story was passionate and exciting and exactly what I needed.
This book, this story, this three characters, they make me ugly cry so much! But they also made me laugh, they made me snort-giggle, and they will teach you the importance of putting on underwear when you first wake-up
Aiden walked away from so much, his whole life, and he wants what he foolishly threw away back so bad. His emotions are palpable and leap off the pages and straight into your heart. He wants to get his life back on track, but is terrified he will fail, no matter how confident he seems
Lexi had it all, and wanted more, wanted the moon and the stars, and then lost it all, and then some. She can’t move forward, but doesn’t want to stay in the past, and is stuck. Self-destructive, in a hole, and no way to do anything but spin, and spin, and spin. She claws her way straight into your soul. She feels everything she did ‘before’ but the hurt is still sharp, and she can’t survive losing again
Lucas tries, he tries so hard, but he isn’t doing Lexi any good. He is missing half of himself, and thinks he is the reason Lexi and Aiden lost so much. He doesn’t see how integral, how important, he is to the whole picture. He backs away when he should surge forward, but he is the missing link that will complete this life that all three need
Sexy, emotional, and one of the sweetest happily ever afters ever because of it all, characters you can love and relate to, and a perfect love story, scars and all!
“You’re a part of me. You’re the best part of me. I don’t care if you hate me for the rest of your life, I’ll follow you. I’ll make sure you’re safe, because that’s what I was born to do.”
Is it possible for a book to be even better the second time around? Yes, yes it is! Hence the reason I have this urge to shout my love for Aidan, Lucas, and Lexi to anyone who will listen. This second edition of Lexi Blake’s SIREN BELOVED had me grinning ear to ear because of all the amazing characters that made appearances all throughout the book. I laughed. I teared up. I blushed. I sighed. I swooned. This amazing menage romance had me experiencing FEELS on top of FEELS on top of even more FEELS! These three human beings have broken pieces within them, but when they finally tear down the walls and let themselves experience happiness, all of their broken pieces fuse together to make one HELL of a connection, a deep understanding, and a love like no other. SIREN BELOVED is probably my favorite installment of the series and it’s all due to impeccable writing and unforgettable characters. Exciting, passionate, heart-wrenching, and beautiful, I found it to be an absolute honor to experience Aidan, Lexi, and Lucas’ journey for the second time.
My favorite installment so far in the Texas Sires series! This book had it all; an emotional and angsty second chance romance, a sizzling MMF menage, a delicious grovel, and three people with deep emotional scars from their past finding that love really can cure all wounds. I adored this book! Simply adored it! I devoured it in one sitting and it made me fall in love with Lexi Blake’s writing all over again. This author has this incredible ability to write the most emotional stories, wrap around them some incredibly hot romance, and then tie it all off with a dose of suspense. The result is a completely unputdownable book that only gets better with every page.
I highly recommend reading this series in order. Even though each book focuses on a different couple, there are story arcs that continue through the series, and would only make you appreciate the characters that much more.
If you’ve read the first three books in the series, you’ll remember Lexi is Abigail Moore’s daughter from Small Town Siren, and Lucas Cameron is Jack Barnes’s younger brother. Aidan is the man we heard about but now officially meet in this story, and boy did I fall hard for the man.
Years ago, Aidan and Lexi were engaged. An unexpected night between her, Lucas, and Aidan made him leave, also leaving Lexi with a broken heart that she’s never recovered from. Lucas has tried to put the pieces back together in the years since, but him being a switch and Lexi a submissive, they feel the missing piece of a Dom.
Now Adian is back and determined to right the wrongs of the past. He knows that he’s what Lucas and Lexi both need and he intends to stop at nothing to prove it to them.
I fell so hard for Aidan in this book. There was simply something so endearing about the broken pieces of this man and his enigmatic presence that I couldn’t get enough of. I loved the way he fought for both Lucas and Lexi. I loved how sweet he was out of the bedroom, and a hardcore Dominant inside it. And while this book has one spicy MMF menage, it’s so much more than that, too. It was incredibly emotional, particularly when Lexi finally deals with the demons of her past. There’s a suspense plot that runs seamlessly through the story, with the added element of danger that only serves to up the wattage. Lucas was another man that I fell hard for. Gone is the lost boy that we’re first introduced to in Small Town Siren. Lucas is all man. He’s no longer hiding his true self behind an illusion. This is a man that loves and loves hard, and will protect those he cares for with everything he’s got. The dynamic between the three of them was absolutely perfect. This is a menage that had incredible depth and plenty of emotion. All three characters are multi-layered and together they just balance each other out.
If you’ve enjoyed the first three books in this series, you’re going to absolutely love this one. I’m already itching for my next fix with this series.
4.5 stars for – Siren Beloved – book 4 in the Texas Sirens series by Lexi Blake/Sophie Oak. This is a re-release with new material that I loved even more the second time around. Fair warning though in my opinion this is some of the sexiest writing Lexi has ever given us with lots of MMF loving through out.
Lexi Moore is Abby Barnes-Fleetwood’s daughter from her first marriage. While she was older when she met her mother’s husbands they have always held a special place in her life. Even more so when right before she was set to get married her life changed literally overnight.
Lucas Cameron is Jack Barnes’ half brother and while the two didn’t grow up together, after a rough initial meeting they forged a good relationship that has Lucas looking up to Jack in all things. Lucas also met Lexi via his brother and found his very best friend in her the day they met. Over the years their relationship has evolved into everything he holds precious in life.
Aidan O’Malley has loved Lexi for as long as he can remember and time and distance have done nothing to change that but his fear of change and the opinion of others caused him to make the biggest mistake in his life. He has spent the last eighteen months fighting to get back to undo all his mistakes and try and set things to right. Lexi wasn’t the only one he let down and he will prove to them both he is all in no matter the cost!
How can you not love a menage romance written by Lexi Blake? Her stories have just the right balance of conflict, danger, steamy sex and romance. Her characters are vibrant, richly layered and sensual. Aiden, Lexi and Lucas are perfect examples. Their story is filled with missteps but in the end it’s love that binds them together for a happily ever after. It’s the perfect reading experience!
The characters and their relationship made this book for me
Part of the Texas Sirens series, I hadn’t read the previous books, though I’ve read other books by the author. While it held up pretty well as a standalone, for maximum enjoyment you should probably read the series in order.
I was pretty much team Aidan from the start, and though I liked Lucas, Lexi was just too much of a brat at the beginning for me to really like her (I suspect reading the previous books first would have made me more sympathetic towards Lexi). She eventually won me over though, and I did have to admire her spirit. What I liked most was watching the three of them build/rebuild their relationship, especially with the dynamics of Dom/switch/sub. In fact, while I usually enjoy the suspense elements this author brings to the table, I was far more interested in the relationship then that suspense subplot.
With lots of heat and humor, plus those suspense elements, it was the characters and their relationship that made this book for me. Note that reading the series in order would probably have raised my rating. 4.5 stars.
B2B Kelly
Lexi Moore and Lucas Cameron have been floundering ever since Aidan O’Malley, fiance and best friend, walked out on them after a night of passion that left him struggling with everything he thought he knew to be true about himself. Lexi has quit writing, can’t hold down a job and drinks way too much to numb the pain. Lucas loves Lexi but can’t be everything she needs no matter how hard he tries. He’s also missing someone to top him. While they love each other, it’s not enough to make them happy . . . The need the perfect third to top them both and complete their family.
Barely surviving a tour in Iraq, Aidan was finally able to come to terms with his small minded upbringing. He understands what he needs and what he wants. He’s ready and willing to commit to Lexi and Lucas for the rest of their lives, but doesn’t know if they can ever forgive him for walking out. When Julian Lodge and Jack Barnes help Aiden hatch a plan to become the Dom that Lexi and Lucas need to complete them, he’s all in . . . he just needs to convince them of that.
Aiden knows it won’t be easy, but with Lexi’s wild streak running rampant and danger seeming to follow her at every turn, it’s up to Aiden to keep all three of them safe. As the triad fights to learn how to love again, danger follows and everyone’s life will be at stake Can they work together to not only find the love they could have but also stay alive to find their happy ever after?
This triad had my heart from the very beginning! Lexi is strong and proud and oh so creative, but really does not someone to take care of her. She’s been angry and depressed and just lost since Aiden walked away from her and Lucas . . . so much so that she is on a path of self destruction. Lucas has grown into an incredible man since we first met him earlier in this series. He loves Lexi more than life and tries to be everything she needs, but just can’t be. As a switch, he’s also suppressing his need to be topped, instead trying to meet Lexi’s needs as an indulgent dom. When Lucas steps back in, it’s immediately clear that he is everything they have been missing. He’s strong enough to top them both, yet understanding enough to realize that Lucas needs to be more than just a submissive in their dynamic. Most importantly, he’s vulnerable enough to open himself up emotionally to both Lucas and Lexi when he wasn’t in the past.
Their love story isn’t easy but it’s wonderful. The dialogue is entertaining and the chemistry between the three of them is incredibly hot and sexy in ways that only Lexi Blake can write. The suspense factor will also have readers on the edge of their seats. The author spins a tale that weaves the past with the present that is sexy and exciting with enough humor to give it a perfect balance. Fans of McKay Taggart also get some early glimpses of that crew, which is always entertaining. 5 stars for Siren Beloved!
5 Their Dom Returns Stars!!!
I’m not sure that these books can get much hotter, sexier or dirty than they already are, but for some reason, this fourth book in the Texas Sirens series was explosively hot and sexy. Maybe because it was a reawakening for our H/H/h and how they came to be the triad they are by the end of the book.
There’s a lot of emotional and physical struggles that take place in this book. There’s an internal war that Lucas and Lexi are fighting when Aiden comes back into their lives. And because it was not handled the way they wanted it to be caused quite a bit of strife for our characters. I loved how Aiden finally admitted who he was; after suffering some major changes in his life that affected every single decision and action of his life going forward. What wasn’t lacking though is the over the top, scream from the rooftops, sexual chemistry that is between these three.
I so appreciated the struggle Lucas and Lexi had with letting Aiden back in their lives. He hurt them both so much, and they don’t want to be hurt again. Lexi is also a little bit of a live wire sometimes doing and saying things that can get her in trouble on so many levels. But what is at the heart of their relationship is the love they have between them and how when they’re together everything in their life will be so much better because they’re together….
“Home wasn’t a place. It was a feeling. It was this amazing sense of comfort and peace. It was a place where she could go and always be accepted and loved for the person she was. She never had to apologize for being who she was. She was beloved, and that was all that mattered. Home. It was right here, nestled between the two best men she’d ever met.”
Along with the story of how these three become the triad they are, we’ve got quite the suspense storyline going on too. I have to honestly say that the way things played out brought me so much glee. Because the parties involved deserved everything that happened.
I’m chomping at the bit now for the Mouse, Bo and Trev’s book next!!!
I love Lexi Blake but even more than that, I love the books she wrote as Sophie Oaks. She is always my go to author when I need a really good romantic and suspenseful story with a double sized side of hot and sexy. There is just something about her characters and stories that captivates me from the very first page. And Siren Beloved is not an exception. It is intriguing, romantic, hot, suspenseful, funny… It practically has everything that makes a book amazing in my mind.
I love the characters in each one of the Texas Sirens books but I’ve been waiting for Lexi and Lucas’ story for ages. So I was super excited when I got my hands on it. I can honestly say that I wasn’t disappointed. Even though my expectations were pretty high. Ultimately, this is a story of losing and finding love again, of finding hope again. A story of second chances and forgiveness. A story of finally finding your place in the world and your HEA.
But of course no story like this will be complete without some danger lurking around the corner. And Lexi Blake definitely knows how to build the suspense. In between the extremely hot, romantic, tender and funny moments, she kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails and trying to figure out what will happen next. Which wasn’t that surprising. It’s Lexi Blake we are talking about 😀
In addition to all that goodness and and extremely hot characters (I mean Logan and Aiden at once, should I say more :D), loved revisiting the characters from the previous books. And it wasn’t just a cameo appearance here or there. In a way, they are active parts in the story. Which I simply love <3
To be honest, I can probably talk for hours on how much I loved this book and Lexi Blake books as a whole. But I figure, you don't want to read my blabbing for ages 😀 So I am leaving you with this hot recommended read and I hope you pick it up because it is definitely worth it 🙂 As for me, I can't wait for Lexi's next book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve read quite a few menage romances, and I’m always in awe of how a threesome finds balance in their relationship…how they deal with jealousy…with meeting each person’s demands equally…with judgmental people who aren’t afraid to shame and even crucify those involved in a polyamorous relationship.
A connection involving three people definitely seems to have a number of obstacles, and in Lexi Blake’s newest release, Siren Beloved, Aidan O’Malley, Lexi Moore, and Lucas Cameron experience more than their share of the highs and lows of loving more than one person, not only from those outside of their relationship but also from those involved because of their tangled past, Aidan’s conflicted feelings, and Lexi’s heartbreak over Aidan’s initial departure despite Lucas’ efforts to mend Lexi’s heart.
Siren Beloved allows readers to learn about and understand all three of the main characters in the story, and each one of them brings a different dynamic to their threesome, but the person who seems to be able to hold them all together, despite the fact that he left town the first time they experimented with their mutual attraction, is Aidan. Aidan wants to right his wrongs, fix the heartbreak he caused, and bring them back together in a way that will solidify their connection forever, and regardless of what he has to do to make that happen, he’s ready to fight…to battle his head, Lexi and Lucas’ disbelief, and anything else that gets thrown at the loves of his life.
Lucas is probably my favorite in the trio; he embraces who he is and he knows what he wants, and he works hard to give Lexi everything she needs, but he knows that without Aidan to guide both he and Lexi, they’ll never feel complete, and Lucas is strong enough to admit that fact because he most definitely wants to be dominated by all who Aidan is as well.
Lexi’s the wild card for me; she hasn’t dealt with her past, and it’s that idea that could destroy what is slowly being rebuilt between her and her two men. Don’t get me wrong, I loved her sass and her heart, but I worried about the situation she put Aidan and Lucas in and worried it would be a point of contention for all of them.
I liked how Lexi Blake brought this threesome back together after Aidan fled from his true feelings because it’s exactly what Lexi and Lucas need for their relationship, and it gives Aidan the opening he needs as well to make things right between them.
Siren Beloved is an emotionally charged second chance romance; I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of feelings exposed and explored in the storyline. The situation that Aidan, Lexi, and Lucas are in is definitely strained and tenuous, so care must be taken and watching it all play out allowed me to truly understand what was at stake for all three of the characters and what they were all willing to do to reclaim the ones that have always been theirs despite the distance and the hurt feelings caused.
4.5 Poison Apples
