A BDSM-lite MMM storyFounded over four hundred years ago, Sanctus Infinitus Redemptio is a private and very elite society where dominance and submission are revered. Steeped in tradition and excellence, every Dominant and every submissive, and their pairing, are selected with great care.
When Hunter Vargo is brought into the Sanctus, his need for strict dominance sees him paired with the wrong … with the wrong Master. But only a short time later, mistreated and his trust broken, he’s recalled, his collar removed. The Grand Master knows it will take a special kind of Dominant to restore the sub’s faith and trust.
Sig Bruckner’s world is perfect. He has a great job, he has high standing within the Sanctus, and he has Levin, the very best submissive. When he’s asked to take on a second sub, a young man with issues and a rule not to touch him, Sig’s world is turned upside down.
When his dominance, his patience, and self-control are tested, and when Sig’s relationships with both subs are pushed past his limits, everything begins to unravel. Yet Sig knows every good Dom learns from their subs, and he’s no exception. He might not be able to fix everything on his own, but perhaps the three of them together can.

REVIEW Sir by N R Walker is a story which takes place in Sanctus Infinitus Redemptio, a private society that reveres dominance and submission. Hunter, whose Master has broken a sacred trust, is reassigned to a new Dom, Sig Bruckner. Sig and his first sub, Levin, take Hunter in and together they teach him to trust again, all the while forging a bond stronger than any of them thought possible.
Sir, which gives us a glimpse into the work of Doms and Subs, is well written, but is just not the sort of book one has come to expect from N R Walker. Absent is the trademark passion and romance usually associated with her books. The characters are interesting but lack real depth and dimension. That is not to speak against the author, who is one of my favorites. My opinions are perhaps jaded by my expectations. But when it come to N R Walker, if she is writing it then I’m reading it!
Sir is a standalone romance that blew me away. It set within an insulated community where BDSM dynamics were applied to everyone. This made for an interesting setting and explored relationship dynamics in a new way. I enjoyed this story and would love it if there were more books in this universe. The relationship between the three men was fascinating to watch develop and really pulled at my heart strings. They all just fit together. There was some drama and angst, but overall, this book was full of tenderness and hope.
Well this was an unexpected read by an author I absolutely adore. Of course she did not steer me wrong here either. While it was out of the realm that I am used to from her, I quite enjoyed it. I loved the technical aspect and the BDSM culture that they created here. I loved the relationship between Levin and Sig and then when Hunter was added it just made it even better. Typically poly is hit or miss with me, as sometimes it feels as though someone is not loved as much, but I did not feel this here. Nick Russo’s narration is divine. And that epilogue….oh my heart.

Wow, that was interesting. I’ve read many sub-stories and felt this one was like no other.
It has an air of a secret society founded long ago with devotion at its core, branched from the church but kept hidden. I felt this story was a fantasy with a forbidden world laid out to enjoy.
There is the classic N.R. heart but I feel this story has seriously elevated heat levels. I will say some parts had a hint of “clinicalization” to them and moments were it felt historical in nature with its dialogue, manners, and dialect. it was still such a passionate story and I felt for these characters, their growth, and their love. I loved Hunter and his whole character arc. the dynamics between these three touch my heart and did bring out a tear or too.
Fabulously written and brilliantly narrated! A seriously sexy read too!!

A really enjoyable read, but their bdsm “society” sounded more like a cult… they all worked for the society, lived on their land and the top masters could take subs groom Doms as they wish…
At first Sig relationship with his subs looked cold, only based on dominance… each having their own room and sleeping apart, just joining for sex… they got warm to each other in the end… but it’s not my kind of dbsm book… still a good book
I’ve read this author before. This is a mmm contemporary lite BDSM story set in Italy. Main characters are Dom Sig and subs Levin and Hunter. Hunter has such a tragic past but as the story progresses he finds a new better happier path in life. Love everything this author writes.
Absolutely Wonderful! Sweet and sexy as hell!
