Teresa
The last thing I need is a hot, drool-worthy one night stand!
I just managed to break up with the loser I should have dumped ages ago, so I already know I’m not the best at saying no or ending things. But it’s time for me to plan for my future.
As the Housing Coordinator on base, I’m sent to settle in new arrivals. During a routine walk through, I run into a man who’s easily the best … easily the best looking I’ve ever seen. With dark hair and light piercing eyes, he catches me off-guard when he continues to relentlessly pursue me—despite my denial of interest in him.
I’m ready to think about life after the military, so I want someone who can be around for the long haul. Definitely not another workaholic, and I know he will be reassigned and gone at any moment.
For all I know–probably back to a wife and kids! I can’t let my heart get involved.
Payak
When your friends are all you have, every one counts.
So, when one of my squad disappears, I make sure I’m first in line to follow up on the planet where he was last seen. Mavin’s like a brother to me, and after his last punishment by the Sinth Sovereignty, he needs to know we all care—so he doesn’t disappear forever.
What I don’t expect to find, is an Earth female so alluring, it appears she can see right into my dimension. She can see me!
Unfortunately, we’re called in for testing and notified that the Wen virus has appeared on Earth. Now, we’ve been split up and assigned to help find the source while trying to stop the disease from spreading across the globe.
It’s more important than ever to find out if humans could be mating compatible, since phasing into our dimension means there’s a chance for the human species if we fail to stop the contagion.
Will Teresa let me close enough to test our compatibility? What will it mean for the future of Earth if I fail?
PLEASE NOTE: This SciFi Romance alien book contains Adult Language and Steamy Adult Bedroom Scenes. It is intended for 18+ Readers & Adults Only.

I am intrigued with this new series. It is a fantastic start. Teresa is the Housing Coordinator on a military base. She goes to ensure that housing is ready for new guests that are coming and meets Payak. Payak is on Earth looking for a friend that went missing. He and his team is looking for him. Payak feels that Teresa is his mate and fights it in the beginning. Teresa just came out of a relationship and isn’t looking for a new one but she is having difficulty refusing Payak. Payak and his team are notified that the Wen virus has been found on Earth. Its a devastating virus that leaves beings zombies. Things suddenly go crazy after the two of them come together. Will Payak be able to keep Teresa safe? A great start to a new series.

This book has the Alien species meangling with human back on Earth. Payak goes to Earth looking for one of his squad companions. He and a small crew go to earth but they find that there is a virus zombie behavior. It needs to be eradicated. He meets Theresa and an knows that she is his mate. Theresa ad Payak have an instant chemistry but they are having to struggle to find some common ground. Will the virus get wiped out and will Theresa and Payak find a way to make their relationship work? Have to read the story to find out. This is a new series. I was confused and wasn’t sure if it was the continuation but a spin off of another series I enjoyed. Teresa didn’t have a disease that needed curing from “The Quasar Lineage” series. Finding a mate is a physical pull. There are instinctual behaviors when near their mate. Payak has a pull to Teresa and vice versa. She is not aware of his alien essence or anything else. There is a slight cliffhanger but only in the story line with her best friend Jade. The slight twists and turns are all about finding Maverick. That’s why Payak is there in the first place with his crew on base. A decent read for the start of a new series. Payak needed to be more forthcoming or clear before he made plans to claim his mate, But that’s part of the charm I guess.
Almost 4 stars. But. Of course I rounded up.

Payak is an alien from the planet Sinth. His current mission is to track his friend Mavin who has gone to earth where the Wen virus is spreading. This virus creates zombie like creatures. Teresa, a human, has just gotten out of a bad relationship and is cautious around Payak who she assumes is a normal human. Their chemistry is red hot. There are some cliffhangers as I suspect this is the start of a series. Good read!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about Earth having visitors from an planet to find one of their own. Teresa is the Housing Coordinator on the base on Earth. Payak is the leader of the squads on Earth and he is also trying to find out if the Earth females can be their soul mates. Now would be the time to get this book. I will be getting more from this author.
Teresa is loving her job at a military base where she liases with incoming personnel. On one such job she meets Payak, who is a Sinth soldier. What surprises him is that she can see him…even when he is phased half in and out of dimensions. Payak is taken by surprise when he discovers that a human female can see him. When they accidentally touch it is like lightening has invaded his body and unbeknown to him Teresa feels the same also. Payak discusses this another of his team members, Dusin, and lets him know he is going to try to find out if she can handle the phasing in and out of dimensions. Then an alien outbreak of a horrible disease hits earth. Payak has put in the paperwork about his mate but before it can go far, he;s sent on a mission to round up the diseased humans. Then worse luck, Teresa finds out it;s where her aunt is living and where her new husband has disappeared.
WOW! The premise is a fantastic one and it builds as the reader follows a beautiful relationship and a deadly disease
I started reading the eBook and then received the audio version in exchange for a review. The story is great! The characters and the world the author built are wonderful. It is easy to like and become invested in the characters and the experiences they go through. The struggle they all face with the Wen virus is captivating. The audio version is lacking. Please don’t give up on the story if you choose the audio version because you will miss out on a great series. The female narrator, Pearl Tate, does a good job. She relates emotion through her voice. It is believable. The male narrator, Rodney Steele, doesn’t do the story justice. He tries to add some inflection to his voice, but it still sounds as if he is reading it. It just doesn’t flow. After starting the series with the 1st book, I got the entire series in a bundle and it is actually read in chronological order instead of by book by book. I am really loving this version. All the characters from all the books blended together. It is amazing how they all intertwine.
I really enjoyed this story. The characters are well developed. I liked the story line and really enjoyed the narration.
THE ALIEN FINDS HIS MATE
The story had an open ending, although there was a HEA. The premise was to find a missing comrade and the origins of the Wen virus. None of this was accomplished. The female narrator didn’t change voices for the women and sounded like a teenager. The male voice could be forgiven as he was accomplished on sounding like a clueless human – after all he was an alien not used to Earth terminologies. There was something missing in this story that didn’t make me want to listen to any following ones.
I “read” the audiobook.
Well narrated story. The male narrator read all of the male character’s dialog and the female narrator read all the female character’s dialog. They both did a great job. It was easy to get immersed in the story.
The story itself is book 1 in the series. However, there is a pretty good prequel, “Sinth Savior”, that should be listened to first to get the full flavor of the Sinth universe as we know it so far.
Sinth Seeker is Payak’s story. He came to Earth with his crew to search for Maven, a fellow Sinth that disappeared at the end of the prequel story. Payak met Teresa when he arrived on Earth and realized she was his mate. It took a long time for Teresa to warm up to the idea that Payak was the real deal. Especially since she had no idea aliens existed. Both main characters were likable and realistic.
Pearl Tate created a very believable universe with little grey men, an alien zombie virus and hot alien super heroes with very interesting powers. Great start to a new series.
It was another great alien romance by the author. I love the element of the aliens’ own special space and how the female is allowed in is a nice touch. I liked the alien element. I didn’t think I would be so into otherworldly romance. I got this book through StoryOrgin and this is my honest and voluntary review..
For audio version.
Absolutely thrilled with this audiobook. Wonderful narration truly giving life to the story. Both the narrators performed beautifully. It was also a great story in itself. I’m excited to listen to the next book in this series. I have acquired a few audiobooks by this author and I must say I am not at all disappointed. I definitely recommend to the alien romance readers.
It was great to listen to. I do wish it would have continued with the story from the prelude but I loved the romance in this audio book. I love that the author herself did the voice for it. I highly recommend this audiobook
This is the first book in the Sinth Strain Series, a Fated Mates Romance. Sinth Seeker is fast paced, and suspenseful. Teresa and Payak’s story has mystery and drama. They share an instant attraction and an undeniable chemistry. The world building is intriguing. Pearl Tate and Rodney Steele did a good job with the duet narration. I love their voices together. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Sinth Source.
Great read! The misunderstandings between the two main characters make some very funny movements. Well written.
LOVED!
I loved his book! Pearl Tate has created a wonderful world in this series. I read the Quasar Series and know that both this series Sinth Strain and the Quasar Series are in the same universe! I really loved this book because it was a great start to a new series in the same world I have become attached to and love!

Inter-dimensional travel by aliens, good and bad, causes an infection that must be stopped from spreading immediately, or else. Protagonists who immediately find their Mates, one an alien, the other human; Much sex ensues. The male narrator sounded like he was reading the book for the first time, but the female narrator was good. The storyline was OK, very light on the Sci-Fi, and as a whole book was just OK.
This is the first story in a new series. I enjoyed reading this story because the characters are very diverse. I like stories where there are aliens and humans intermingling. The characters were all believable. It was a mini-vacation right on my couch!
Teresa just got over breaking up with her latest boyfriend, something that was way overdue. She has her job on the base of getting housing ready for new arrivals. As she is getting the newest house checked out before they arrive, something happens. She meets the best looking man she has ever seen. She needs to start thinking of her future, and a one night stand with a guy who she may never see isn’t really something she is interested in. She is thinking of getting out of the military and getting involved with someone who may or may not be around in a few weeks isn’t worth getting involved in. But he keeps insisting.
Payak is looking for a missing member of his team. He is investigating the planet he was last on when he meets Teresa who he just can’t resist. She can do something that nobody else can do. She can see him when he shifts to his own dimension. When his team is called away because a deadly virus is found in a small town on Earth, where the only way it could be here is if another Alien has been there. They investigate the area and they need to isolate the town. That is not all they need to do to the town, but when he finds out that Teresa has family there, he shares the info.

Great imagination 4 ½ stars – The Sinth world is fascinating. There is so much to discover about their species and how their Earth mates will fare. It would be very interesting to know what makes Teresa different and made her compatible to Payak. The world-building is great. There are some very sequel-worthy supporting characters. Book shows great imagination by the author. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
Payak and his team are on Earth to try and find a missing member when he meets his mate. Now all he has to do is convince her to give him a chance, look for his missing team member and secretly help container the Wen Virus that has broken out. Teresa just got out of a relationship and she’s not looking to get involved with someone right now. So why can she not stop thinking about Payak? I have to say that Teresa wasn’t a character that I liked and felt she kinda pulled the story down so much I could never get into the storyline.
This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone with no cheating or cliffhangers, but it is only a portion so a larger story and for a fuller reading experience would probably be best if read as such.
