He’s Seen Her Future. One Night Won’t Change Her Fate. After a surreal experience at 30,000 feet, Elinor Gunn possesses a mysterious gift and a powerful attraction to a dark, brooding man with gifts of his own. This romantic thriller with a supernatural twist may be read as a standalone.
Suspenseful, mesmerizing, intriguing, scary, unpredictable, dangerous, tragic with a complicated romance. I loved reading this book. It had my attention from the first page and all throughout the book. I consider this a dark novel. There is so much tragedy, darkness, psychic abilities, madness, murder and the villain is deranged. The H/h did the best they could despite the gifts they had. Gian made mistakes but were trying to learn from them and turn his life around. He succeeds but he almost lost his best friend and love of his life Elinor. Elinor was battling her own demons. She had a daughter Maura. Maura is only three years old and already was displaying that she too had a psychic gift. In the end, Gian was betrayed in a most horrific way. Once you start reading this book you will not put it down. This is a must read and I highly recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A suspenseful novel with a strong supernatural element, this story keeps one guessing right up until the end. Gian finds himself in the difficult situation of needing to protect and keep Elinor safe, but having seen her future he determines that she will never be his. However, despite their combined gifts neither Gian nor Elinor are protected from potential danger. One thing they do realise is that together they are stronger and can fight back against forces of evil. I loved Gian’s strong character and his protectiveness. One can also identify with Elinor as she finds herself gifted with abilities that she battles to come to grips with. This is a well written drama, one that kept me on the edge of my seat. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Wow. Noelle Greene’s Sinner’s Intuition (Blue Mill Book 3) is indeed a wonderfully edgy romantic suspense tale. I loved the craftsmanship that went into both Elinor and Gian – and the promised supernatural here is a real doozy. This is a fun read with a superb cast of characters and a neat plot that’s well delivered thanks to strong writing. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
Sinner’s Intuition is book three in the Blue Mill series and I was captivated by this story from the start. Gian and Elinor’s story is an intense one full of mystery, suspense, drama and twists that pulled me into the story.
Wow. This is going to sound like a cheesy line, but I didn’t see any of that coming. There are so many twists in the plot I think I’m still dizzy. This has the potential to be a dead giveaway kind of spoiler, but I get some series Unbreakable vibes from this book. There are obvious differences from the movie, but there are some eerie similarities too. I loved watching the interplay between Elinor and Gian. You never quite know what’s real and what’s just perception until the very end… or do we even know that?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
This book is filled with action and intrigue, the chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Could you imagine being able to see the future? Then letting that dictate to run from love. That is what Gian does when he meets Elinor and after a near miss plane crash, she dies briefly and when she comes back starts seeing visions of things to happen. After one night of love Gian leaves and thinks he is doing the right thing. After three years they end up working at the same company. What they don’t know is that the charming owner wants them for more than their work ethic. A chilling story that will have you turning the pages quickly. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
I received an ARC from Ms. Greene, and this is my honest review. This is the third book in the Blue Mills Series. I highly recommend that the books are read in order because there will be some spoilers and the characters from the previous books make an appearance. Gian and Elinor work for the same company. When their airplane loses control, Gian saves Elinor from certain death. As Elinor knocked on death’s door, Gian tries to bring her back to the present. Once back among the living, Elinor now has a new power/intuition. She is now able to see what will happen a few minutes before tragedy strikes. As Gian pushes Elinor away, she must now learn to navigate this new world. As time passes, Elinor and her daughter Maura must now live and work together to try to live a normal life. As Gian realizes that death and tragedy is knocking on Elinor’s door, he must now put his feelings aside and see where he can help her. As old friends and enemies draw closer, will Gian be able to save Elinor and Maura or will it be too late?
I highly enjoyed this book as well as the series. I found Gian to be great but also very annoying. Elinor is a young lady who has had to work hard to make a name for herself in a male dominated career. Together they are fire and ice. Either they burn hotly or they’re freezing each other out. The plot is well-written, and has a fluidity that kept me reading way past my bedtime. I highly recommend Sinner’s Intuition to those 18+ due to the sexual and violent themes. Thank you Ms. Greene. I look forward to reading more about the Blue Mill community.
I was pulled into this story right away with the opening. When Gian Mariani requests to change seats on the airplane, so he could sit behind Elinor Gunn right before the seal on her window broke. All chaos let loose when the plane seemed to be headed for a crash. Elinor woke and looked at Gian to tell him that ‘she was back.’
Gian has a history of being the town troublemaker, and rumors are whispered by the townspeople. Seen as aloof and brooding, behind his back, he is called The Undertaker.
Following the near fatal plane incident, Gian decides to keep a close eye on Elinor. Gian gets visions, although they aren’t always clear except they do show death. He feels Elinor’s life is about to change and she won’t be prepared. Elinor sees what will happen before it does, but also feels the same pain as those in her visions.
After one night spent together, Gian, walks away from Elinor, he’s had a vision of Elinor. He decides it best to walk away now. When she seeks him out in the office for a private conversation and tells Gian that she’s pregnant, Gian knows the beginning of the vision is coming true. He leaves the town that held so many painful memories and Elinor with it.
Until one day, a bystander takes a video of Elinor with her daughter, and Gian can no longer remain out of Elinor’s life. There is a darkness that shimmers around her that can only be described as evil.
I’ve never not enjoyed one of Noelle Greene’s books. I loved the supernatural aspects and the romance in this book.
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
Elinor Gunn’s life is about to take an unexpected turn, and, although she’s doesn’t know what’s to come, she knows she wants Gian Mariani to be a part of it. Even though Gian wants Elinor, he knows he’s not in her future, so he walks away. Years later when he realizes there may be a threat in Elinor’s life, Gian comes back. With secrets he isn’t ready to reveal and something sinister threatening Elinor’s life, Gian may have to take the biggest risk to keep those he loves safe from harm.
Elinor & Gian’s story is full of suspense, drama, and mystery. The paranormal component adds depth to the drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are unexpected twists and turns which bring a surprising element to the story. The characters are engaging and well-developed. The storyline starts off with an exciting event which will grab your attention and hold your interest until the end. I highly recommend this very appealing and gripping love story!
ARC copy received for my honest review. Noelle Greene started this book off with a bang! As a result of a near death situation Elinor can now sense things that are about to happen, Gian guides her along the way until his own vision about Elinor makes him step aside. The story unfolds, time passes, there is a HEA but not without a lot of angst. Entertaining story, I enjoyed reading it.
Learning to trust those new possibilities is what grounds you…
There can be events in our lives that make a lasting impact. An impact so great that it will forever change how we think, how we feel and how we deal with others and circumstances. Sometimes those changes bring good, yet often without someone to guide and teach it becomes frustrating and debilitating. Sometimes do we want to hold that power without being grounded?
Sometimes people will come into our lives that you know should be there from the beginning, they draw you like no other, but that moment and time is made wrong, especially when others who deliberately seek out to alter your life’s course.
Oh WOW! What an impact Noelle Greene makes with SINNER’S INTUITION. It’s a story that will be steeped in the world of the intuition and paranormal, yet at the same time deals with life, for Gian and Ellinor, it’s a journey of wrong moments and when second chances give new possibilities. Those possibilities become the very thing that grounds you and can save your life and sanity.
I have loved the Blue Mill series and I continue to be mesmerised. I was drawn from the first words until it’s end. Told in two parts but a blend of how life’s circumstances aren’t always going to work the way we would love them too. It’s filled with page-turning drama, suspense and intrigue.
I love how the male characters in each off her books in Blue Mill series are strong, capable yet have sufficient, more than their share of flaws to make them real and yet captivating. A definite recommend to read this book, but go back to the beginning, delve into the Blue Mills community. I hope there are more stories to come, because Noelle Greene left a little snippet inside SINNER’S INTUITION, that I would love to know what is transpiring.
This book was a big Wow! I read in less than a day. Full of suspense, intrigue and yet steam and romance. Has a hint of the mystical or paranormal but still relatable. Greatly enjoyed this read!
5 stars
I received a free copy of the novel Blue Mill Series book 3:Sinner’s Intuition by Noelle Greene and this review was given freely.
A dramatic opening with Elinor and coworker Gian, a plane accident with a near death experience and visions that change both of their lives. Gian tries to guide and protect Elinor while maintaining his distance in hopes of protecting himself from hurt and loss only to realise the best way to protect Elinor and her daughter Maura is to be with them. Complex and dramatic with suspense, empaths, good vs evil, murder and lies that spans both years and generations, poor family dynamics, links to the prior novel, and a heartwarming ending.
What a thriller! Gian and Elinor are work colleagues until an accident changes everything. Then there is Evan and then Maura. And somewhere romance finds them … and the horror begins…
