Profiler Sarah Armstrong knows what it’s like to be in a sticky situation. As a single mother and one of the few female Rangers in Texas history, she has had to work twice as hard to rank among the best cops in the Lone Star State. But when megawealthy businessman Edward Lucas III is found murdered along with his mistress, their bodies posed in grotesque ways, Sara quickly senses that this will … will be the deadliest case of her career. While others focus the investigation on Lucas’s estranged wife, Sarah disagrees and hunts a suspect only she believes in. Yet nothing in her career could have prepared her for the horror of a young man who believes he has been sent from heaven to massacre innocent people. When Sarah picks up on the killer’s elusive trail, following his scent all over Texas, the psychopath makes her his next target. And as Sarah closes in, the madman sets his sights on all she holds dear. Singularity features a feisty, funny, and tough heroine and a truly creepy killer, as it races along to a chilling and unexpected climax.

I thought the ending was to contrived
enjoyed
It was interesting to see a woman Texas Ranger, something I never thought about. She was the type of woman that can successfully compete, in what I always thought of as a man’s environment.
Well written. Believable characters. REALLY enjoyed it!
Very good read. Easy to follow the story.
My reaction upon finishing this novel was to look for another with Sarah as the main character. This was an engaging story with well-drawn minor characters.
Best book I have read in a while.
Ms. Casey did a very good job of bringing her characters to life which made the story easy to follow and read. The action rose and subsided much as real life happens which encourages the reader to keep turning the page.
Great read. Hard to put down.
Excellent read. Well done.
The characters had dimension and were realistic and intriguIng. The plot included Texas Rangers, FBI and forensics, which I found interesting. Sarah is a widow raising her child with the help of her Mother on a horse ranch. The romance part is low key in the first book but leaves the impression that Sarah is beginning to miss that part of her …
I would like to read more by this author.
Somewhat far fetched, but a entertaining read.
Good story line with memorable characters. It would be stronger if the pacing were edited better. All in all a good read however.
I liked this book enough to continue reading the series. Good reading!
I love murder mysteries. This one has a serial killer plot. Loved it. Reading her next book in this series.
Great start to a series – I can hardly wait until the next book
Enjoyed good twists
A scary glimpse of a diabolical killer. It will have the reader wanting the romance to be continued into the next book.
Took a while to find “singularity” — but good to find it
