Profiler Sarah Armstrong knows what it’s like to be in a sticky situation. As a single mother and one of the few female Rangers in Texas history, she has had to work twice as hard to rank among the best cops in the Lone Star State. But when megawealthy businessman Edward Lucas III is found murdered along with his mistress, their bodies posed in grotesque ways, Sara quickly senses that this will … will be the deadliest case of her career. While others focus the investigation on Lucas’s estranged wife, Sarah disagrees and hunts a suspect only she believes in. Yet nothing in her career could have prepared her for the horror of a young man who believes he has been sent from heaven to massacre innocent people. When Sarah picks up on the killer’s elusive trail, following his scent all over Texas, the psychopath makes her his next target. And as Sarah closes in, the madman sets his sights on all she holds dear. Singularity features a feisty, funny, and tough heroine and a truly creepy killer, as it races along to a chilling and unexpected climax.

I didn’t want the story to end. It’s that good!
This one will hook you from the get go and not stop. Crime solving by a determined Texas ranger and mother. You will enjoy this read. I especially liked the authenticity of settings in Galveston, Houston, and the Big Thicket.
Very well written. Casey is an outstanding writer. Her role as a Texas Ranger profiler is believable and her relationship with her daughter and mother is good.
Great story and characters…
Sarah was great…
Will definitly continue the series at some point.
This is my first book by K Casey and I enjoyed all the detail to the plot and characters. Easy reading and I’ll read more of her books
I enjoyed this book a lot. Good characters. Realistic story line, especially having her being the first woman Texas Ranger profiler!!
Can’t wait for the next of this series!
Easy reading, but very predictable.
Duplicate plot to first book in series. Heroine faces villain and gets shot. Not badly written, but cookie cutter storyline plus hurricane. Read entire book, wanted to see if there was a twist, sadly, nah.
I enjoyed this book and the strong female character. In fact I purchased the next two books and read them as well.
I thought it kept my attention and the heroine was tough and smart. She needs to rely more on herself and pay more attention to her family and less on the man who probably will not stay in her life. But the case was interesting and story finally came together.
Great writing! Good and believable characters, outstanding with vocabulary! Keeps me turning pages and wanting more!
Enjoyable book.
I would recommend this book to those who like serial killers, Texas rangers, and some sex on the side. Actually I’m more into cozy mysteries; but I can recommend this to others who like more action in their books.
This was a really good read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The main character was developed very well. I felt like I knew her as a friend.
Thought was just okay. Easy to put down and do other things… took me longer than usual to read as it wasn’t that good (but not quite bad enough to stop/give up).
Liked the characters. Good plot.
Usually prefer romantic thrillers, but this mystery was a real page turner. Once I got hooked on it, I had to keep reading. Really enjoyed ir.
The book is well-written with an enticing story line that makes it a “page turner” but the psychopath was bizarre (but that also helped me remember “it’s just a story.”)
Excellent book. Couldn’t put it down. Plot twists were good and the overall mystery was about the right length.
