This book is so good and hot!
Mac is a good guy who just fell in love with an image of what he thought love should be. That all changed when he met his son, Louis. And then he met Ella. and then the story gets really cooking. Mac is going through life finding doubles of the woman he can’t have when he meets the one who teaches him about what love really is. It’s a great story with humor, tears, love, and passion.
A sexy Scotsman and a frustrated virgin nanny with passion and a learning curve.
There are possessive men, and there are true Alphas, and then, as if to tempt and torture women everywhere, from the deliciously wicked, witty and salacious mind of Donna Alam comes Mac Adams!!
Christ on a cracker! What this woman can do with words in creating the imagery of a dirty mouthed, physically impeccable specimen with a Scottish brogue, is enough to incinerate a girl’s panties!
Mac is now my all time favourite of Donna’s heavenly Scots. He is the perfect mix of grumpy frustrated male, with a filthy way with words, and a surprising soft marshmallow centre that he keeps well guarded, until his “Big Man” and the lovely Raphaela crash into his world.
Between learning to be a single Dad, and having a luscious young au pair living under his roof, Mac has a lot of adjusting to do, and this extends to his trousers, as the chemistry with he and Ella burn up the pages. I can’t ever remember getting so hot and bothered reading without ever getting to the actual act!! You’re killing me woman!
But both these two are holding back secrets, and amongst the angst of revealing their truths, throw in some hilarious family interruptions (I mean, we can never get enough of Natasha), a couple of unwanted lewd advances, and a cute little man and his feral rat of a pet, and this rib tickling sexy romp ticks all the boxes!
I received an ARC of this book for an honest and voluntary review, but I will be purchasing as well and gifting this, as it’s just THAT good!!
I’m so glad that Mac finally got his story. I loved Mac and Ella. Another great read from Donna. I love all these Scot books. All the alphas are sexy as hell. Mac is probably my favorite out of all of them. He’s a single dad, what more could you ask for. Amazing. Can’t wait for the next one.
Mac & Ella’s saga is a forbidden romance that is sexy, captivating, & humorous. While Mac character is a Hot Alpha male Scot with a brooding attitude & a sweeter side. Ella’s character is sweet, fiesty, & wity. I love the banter between all the character’s. Well my favourite character is Mac’s son Louis as he is so sweet & quirky. A perfect blend of supporting character’s that add to the saga. With a perfect epilogues that tie everything together in a perfect little package. This is my favourite book I have read from this author yet. I volunteerily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.
This a a hot read about a filthy talking Scot who has met his match in his live-in au pair, Ella. Mac is in the fitness industry and meets and enjoys a lot of women. When he finds out that one of his former weekend partners has left him a young son, he is totally unprepared for him. Enter Ella, who needs a place to live and a job. She is miserable after a failed relationship. Mac and Ella are spectacular together. He is in awe of her ability to comfort his grieving son, Louis. Mac wants Ella so badly but realises there is something she hasn’t told him, so he makes her wait until he has her full trust. But it’s pretty hard to give your v-card to a guy that’s into someone else. I find that Donna Alam’s story-telling is pretty seamless, and I read long past my bedtime because it flows so well. I liked both the main characters, the secondary characters (the teasing & banter that Mac’s friends enjoy is pretty funny), and the characters that have appeared in One Hot Scot and One Dirty Scot. You don’t need to read them to enjoy this Scot, but you’ll certainly want to if you haven’t already.
I received an arc of this book and have voluntarily reviewed it.
Dear and brightest lights of heaven! This book left me gasping for breath. Half the time it was because Mac is just such a stunning example of alpha-male hotness, and the rest of the time it was because I was laughing so hard. This is so completely my style of humor that I’m going to cherish a few of the choicest snarky lines until I can find an opportunity to use them somewhere in my day-to-day. Ella’s a sweetheart. Maybe a bit too sweet for the likes of Mac, but her sweet innocence hides a seriously naughty side that brings Mac’s most dominant traits out to play. It’s fascinating to watch this pair try to fight their chemistry; it’s slightly forbidden but that’s what makes it so good. It’s also loads of fun to watch the friends and family that have been sucked in by the whirlwind. Nobody’s quite sure which end is up anymore.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
Single Daddy Scot by Donna Alam a five-star read you will want to marry. Yummy Yummy Yummy, comes to mind when I think of this book. Macormac Adams is a man who makes me want to run all the way to the gym. I would happily stalk him anywhere. He’s a busy man and when something pops up in the shape of a little boy he knew nothing about, he really is someone who could melt the knickers off a nun. (I know sister Gertrude will be turning in her grave right now agreeing with me) When things start to get too much he gets some help, an ho-pair (au-pair in scot mother speak). Things should go smoothly as Mac has things to remember to help him stop from wanting his au-pair. But what happens if twenty-three-year-old virgin Au-pair Raphaela Alescio wants Mac? Would he be able to help her out of a predicament?
This was funny in ways and places you don’t expect and had circumstances that made you want to swallow your tongue as well as other body parts. It was hot and heavy and filled in all the right places. Mac may well be my favourite Scot and that’s saying something as he has some amazing company. There was one scene that made me smile so big I thought my face cracked and if you have read Donna’s other book you will recognise the scene. (All that hotness in one room, that would melt more than just panties, the pasty’s may come off then as well and I ain’t talking about Greggs pasty’s). Well done Donna on a sublime read, I can only go back to being Stalker McStalkerton now until you grace us with the next amazing read.
