Jaxon Hall gave up raising hell the day he became a dad—there’s no greater rush than seeing his little girl’s smile. Now if he could just convince his in-laws that he’s a responsible adult, fully capable of raising his motherless child.Every girl in Rachel’s sorority wants the smoking hot mechanic next door, herself included, but a man is the last thing she needs in her life—especially a tattooed … a tattooed single dad with a reputation as a badass. A man like that draws attention, and a woman hiding out from an abusive ex needs to keep a low profile. But when her car breaks down and he comes to her rescue, it’s not just her spark plugs he gets firing.
Women hadn’t been on Jaxon’s list of do withouts, there just hadn’t been any energy left to even think about one—until the girl next door comes up empty on cash to pay for her car repairs and offers housekeeping and babysitting services to even the debt. It’s the perfect arrangement until #1—the in-laws mistake Rachel for his girlfriend, and #2—she moves into his home. Their agreement is hands off, business only, but being around her is a special kind of torture that quickly reminds him he’s still a man, and now, with more time on his hands, he’d finding it harder and harder to keep them off of her.

This books had a great story, was a pleasant surprise and very, very hot!
great read
Jaxon and Rachel each have baggage, but they both want what’s best for Jaxon’s daughter. They both have exes that are causing problems for their relationship. A steamy read.
Really enjoyed this story about a single dad and the girl next door who is in hiding from an abusive x boyfriend.
Between his daughter and his x in-laws things get a little crazy. The story is good but love scenes a little too explicit for my taste.
Great characters and lots of very sexy action in this page-turner. Loved it!!
Loved the story. Jaxon and Rachel are awesome together. And soooo hot!! The dirty talk is real. Warning kindle may smoke. He is the perfect bday boy with sweet gentlemanly features. Ripped and worked with his hand as a mechanic of his own shop. She is on the run from an abusive ex. They just fit together. And Cassie his daughter is adorable. Just wish there was an epilogue that was like a couple years in the future. To explain about the deadbeat drug addicted ex and their family issues. And how everything is with Rachel, Jaxon and Cassie.
Good book
I loved this book, thank you!
One of the better romance novels I’ve read involving the difficult subject of child custody.
Love story between two unlikely people. Both are in need of help and find a way to help each other. Sweet story that shows love sometimes shows up in unlikely ways.
Liked the story and the characters but the language was crude. The story could have stood by itself with less vulgarity. Enjoyed the story just not the overuse of the f word.
Good read could have been a little more kinkier but overall I really enjoyed it.
Jaxon and Rachel captivated me right from the start! You could feel the instant chemistry between the two before they even started talking! Rachel is smart, quiet, sweet but running from her past. Jaxon is a smoking hot, super sexy, thoughtful but reserved single dad because of his past as well. These two end up making a deal and the chemistry between them ignites tenfold! I absolutely love them and little Cassie!
This was such a ridiculous story. What kind of sorority house is right across the street from a garage? And the hero asks to marry the heroine but somehow doesn’t know her last name? Umm, ok. And the junkie mother still has her engagement rings? Not likely. Can’t recommend this one at all.
What a hot and spicy book that was all wrapped up with heart and feelings. I absolutely loved this book. Jaxon and Rachel were amazing together.
I really liked the character of Rachel. She was a woman who had a lot going on and had to juggle many things. She was someone I felt like I could relate too. She was kind and warm and was just trying to make it through the day while watching her back.
Jaxon was the perfect book boyfriend. While he had all the bad boy swagger, he had grown and matured and now was a wonderful dad to his daughter. Nothing hits the feels more than a bad boy who has a soft spot for a kid in my book. When he and Rachel got together it was not only steamy but also they fit each other and they filled a need that the other had. My favorite parts of this book when the three of them would hang out and do normal things.
Rachel is running from her ex and Jaxon has a runaway ex, and in between it all there’s his sweet little daughter Cassie.
I loved this story and this is why:
* Hot bad boy gentlemen Jaxon is a great book boyfriend Rachel is sweet until you cross her, then be aware (the principal office)
* Great storyline with enough dialogues to make the story flow easy.
* Hot love scenes that’s written in a tasteful way without losing any hotness
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* The characters descriptions is good, they feel familiar halfway through the book.
* There’s not a overwhelming amount of feelings in this book but there’s enough so that there’s one point in the book where I had to dry my eyes.
I recommend it if you like a easy flowing read with hotness and a good storyline.
