The last thing I want is to partner on a library exhibit with Max, a hot new art professor at my college, but it’s part of my job as librarian so I don’t have a choice. My attraction to him is intense and immediate, but I’m taking a break from dating so I can focus on myself. I don’t need a distraction like Max. He’s a single father, and that’s the only thing he can focus on now. He’s never going … He’s never going to take a relationship with me seriously, no matter how much I want him to.
Single Dad is the third book in the Milford College series, novellas about the faculty and staff of a small liberal arts college.

Noelle Adams does it again with ‘Single Dad’
I loved the relationship between Max and Katrina. The uncertainty they have at handling their emotions and feelings for each other is something we can all identify with. I can’t wait to the next instalment. Milford College is THE place to be for all things romance.
I love Noelle Adams’s light, unpretentious, and fun writing. With Single Dad it was no different. Accompanying the friendship of Katrina, Rika and Max and then how everything evolved to form a beautiful and harmonious family was so sweet and beautiful.
I was really in need of such a reading to lighten the dramatic burden of the books I read earlier that left me with a reading hangover.
Max helps Katrina in every way to achieve her dreams without forgetting his own and without forgetting to pay full attention to his daughter. He is an enchanted and wonderful prince and Katrina was very lucky to have conquered this family.
Loved the literary references used and loved the cover very much.

A short, fast-paced read, with nice characters and a sweet romance between a single dad and a woman who wants to carry on with her life but doesn’t want to go through a heartbreaking moment again. It’s a well-written story and Max’s daughter was a great addition to the story.
I enjoyed it as a fun and easy read but not so memorable for me, unfortunately.
Noelle Adams is back with a sexy, single dad that will make you just go aww. I loved that Max loves his little girl alot and yet he is torn when it comes to Katrina. For the first time he is wanting more yet the girl just wants to have a little fun. I loved that Noelle Adams shows us that age is just a number and if you have faith love can be possible. The chemistry between these two are fun, sweet and boy when they really go in it just gets hotter. Book 3 in the Milford College series and hope there is more from this place loving it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
It was cute, short, sweet, and gave the afternoon some delight. This was Max and Katrina working together to accomplish a school mandated goal and along they way the fell in to a supposed temporary relationship. Getting to know little Rika was darling as most children bring that touch of light and sweetness. This was an afternoon distraction from the day-to-day grind.
Adams reminds the heart it’s okay to be vulnerable. Single Dad is willing to appeal to the adorable side of life. Katrina and Max are at their most sexy when letting their emotions run free. If less is more, Noelle Adams sure knows how to make an impressive impact.
3.5 stars.
Here we have Katrina and Max; she works at the library at Milford College and he teaches an art class. They’ve both been secretly checking each other out, but doing nothing so far. For Katrina’s part, she’s finally taking charge of her life and that includes not starting a new relationship.
However, when they are forced to work together for a few weeks, she sees him more than just the hot art teacher; and starts seeing a pretty great guy she could fall for.
I liked these two, they both had things keeping them from making a real commitment, but still, this attraction made them face those things and realize they were just excuses.
I was frustrated that there was a little back and forth coming from Katrina, and at times it was a little cruel to Max. They also needed to talk, like ASAP, there were a few misunderstanding that could’ve been avoided by that.
Still, all in all, an entertaining read.
*Thank you to the author for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*
I adore Noelle Adams’s books and Single Dad is just as enjoyable as the rest of them! Katrina and Max were very lovely characters who had me rooting for them throughout the entire book. This fun and sexy novella packed a punch and was truly enjoyable! I love how their relationship started and what it blossomed in to. I highly recommend reading it!
Max is a part time art teacher at college.
Katrina is a librarian at this college.
She see him every Tuesday, while she passes his classroom on her way home. Max was interested in Katrina since he saw her first time, but he thought she was a student.
When Max finds out Katrina is not a student, but works there, all bets are off.
Great story, lovely characters.
This is the third book of this series that is located at Milford College, a small liberal arts college. Now, you will read the story of Katrina and Max, she is an assistance librarian and is facing a moment in her life… Katrina is worried about getting thing on her own way and independence after being let down by her ex-boyfriend. Max is a bit older, divorced and is a single dad, her is teaching an art class at the college and is cannot take his eyes of Katrina.
The thing here is that Max is patient and he understands the phase that Katrina is going through. This book is so lovely, sexy and above all is about this couple journey to happiness. Noelle Adams has a truthful way of telling a story, she is knows how to take these people into the next level and I just love her writing.
You will love it!
You need 5 large, peeping hot teacups for this book! Noelle Adams’ Single Dad is truly one of the best romances of the year! I absolutely loved it and was really drawn to the heroine and could relate to her so much! I absolutely love college romances and this is truly one of the best! You are for sure going to want to add this to your own library!
The sexy charming man in the last classroom is the last man she wants to work with. He oozes charm, is swathed in sex appeal, and has this crazy ability to steal her focus from unnatural distances. He is an enigma and that is fangerous. She feels the connection without ever speaking to him.
Single Dad is apparently dangerous to poor Tinkerbell’s control. This cute story about second chances is just the pick me up you need.

I loved Rika! Her love for books and quick connection with Katrina had me from the beginning. I also liked that she wasn’t the usual young child (which I absolutely adore, don’t get me wrong ).
Although I wasn’t down with the whole disposable relationship, I did like the edge it gave this story. Max and Katrina are the kind of characters you root for. They were the prefect addition to the Milford College Series.
: 3. 75 stars—SINGLE DAD is the third instalment in Noelle Adams’ contemporary, adult MILFORD COLLEGE romance series focusing on the men and women who work at Milford College. This is twenty-seven year old, librarian Katrina Pierce ,and thirty-nine year old, art teacher /single father Maxwell ‘Max’ Wentworth.SINGLE DAD can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from first person point of view (Katrina Pierce) SINGLE DAD follows the building romance between Milford College librarian Katrina Pierce, and art teacher / single father Maxwell Wentworth. Hired as an adjunct instructor Max Wentworth is looking for help setting up an art exhibit in the library, and Katrina Pierce is his contact. Working together, a definite attraction begins to develop,an attraction Max is hoping to take further. What ensues is the building relationship between Max and Katrina as our couple balance their personal and professional lives without falling in love.
Max Wentworth is a single father who is looking for a friends with benefits relationship from our story line heroine. Katrina’s last relationship ended when her boyfriend fell in love with somebody else, now Katrina is focusing on herself for the foreseeable future.
The relationship between Max and Katrina is one of immediate attraction but Katrina struggles with her attraction to Max, and wavers between remaining professional and wanting something more. Max offers sex, fun and flirtation never expecting to fall in love. The $ex scenes are passionate and captivating without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
SINGLE DAD is a fun and flirty romance. The premise is engaging; the characters are sexy and sassy.
Wow! I loved Single Dad! Such a great story packed into a novella! Single Dad is book three in the Milford College series which features staff of the local liberal arts college.
Katrina is on staff at the library. Having her masters in library science isn’t enough for her. She wants her masters in English as well. But that is just one thing Katrina feels she is lacking in her life. Her past boyfriends have dictated how she lived until they left her drifting in the wind. She is bound amd determined to get the life she believes she should have. What she wasn’t expecting was meeting new art teacher Max!
Max is the new part time art teacher. He loved his regular job as a graphic artist, but it can get a bit boring. He takes the art studio job to feed that hands on, creative side he has been missing. He is intrigued with the girl who passes his classroom every week. Although his daughter is his life, he knows he must meet this woman!
I really enjoyed this book! I liked both Katrina and Max and felt their misgivings were believable and relatable. I think they fit well together so they needed to figure how that looked in the big picture. Their journey kept me flipping the pages! I was happy with how everything turned out! Well done!
A cute quick read that can be read as a stand-alone within the Milford College series. So if you love those single dad books then pick this one up. I love Max and how he is with his daughter Freddie. He is such a wonderful dad. The only thing is he is not much of a communicator and you will see this when you read. Katrina is just wonderful. You will love her and how she just embraces Max’s daughter. I love Katrina and Max together. This was an amazing read that I couldn’t put down.
Reread:
I really enjoyed my reread of this book. I’d forgotten how much I loved the gentle message behind this heroine’s life experiences. Reacquainting myself with Max was also worth the reread. He’s a great hero that’s fun, flirty, and down to earth. I absolutely LOVE him, even more the second time around.
Original:
This was such a cute, fun, sweet and smexy read!
After putting her life on hold in order to follow the men in her life, Katrina has decided it’s time to put herself first. She has a list of things she wants to accomplish before she considers dating again. But the intense heat she feels each time she sees Max is hard to ignore. When they are thrown together for an art exhibit, she agrees to a “disposable” relationship. Nothing permanent, nothing demanding or complicated, just something…simple.
Boy, I could totally see myself as well as friends in Katrina. Adjusting her life to fit what she thought a man wanted and then realizing that time had flown by and she hadn’t succeeded in accomplishing some of her goals left her feeling like a failure. I loved that she was determined enough to fight for what she wanted even at the cost of heartache. Her refusal to settle for less is a mantra girls/women hear and may repeat, but often never follow.
Max was fun and flirty from the beginning. He was a lighthearted hero who was forthright with Katrina and determined to make her like him. Watching them together each time she tried to get rid of him was too cute. The fact that he called her on it only added to the cuteness factor. But as a single father, he had to be up front with her that his daughter was the center of his life and she would always take precedence over everything else.
While there was a lot of steam and chemistry between this hero and heroine as well as plenty of smiles and some drama, above everything else, this story felt real. Like many of this author’s books, each of these characters are developed with flaws. They do not have perfect bodies, they do not always smoothly glide from one scene to the next. They stumble and waiver, they are both awkward at times and communication is often difficult but always feels real. Katrina and Max were perfectly imperfect and totally realistic and I loved them all the more for it.
This is a short but sweet love story! Max and Katrina each thought they knew what they wanted at this point in their lives, but neither saw the other one coming. Max has a 13 year old daughter and she is what matters to him most and Katrina is a bit younger than him and hasn’t had that many relationships but lost herself in the ones she did have so she is trying to focus on herself right now. I really enjoyed their – let’s keep things simple but boy did they complicated fast -relationship. Wonderful characters, story and ending!
I received an ARC from the publisher via Netgalley.
