Good girls don’t date rock stars. They certainly don’t have rock star f-buddies.Still a virgin at 21, Meg Smart walks a straight and narrow path. She aces her classes, excels at her part time job, and carefully avoids trouble–no drinks, no drugs, and especially, no boyfriends.Rock star Miles Webb doesn’t do “boyfriend.” He skips over intimacy and love in favor of easy distraction–a beautiful … distraction–a beautiful woman under him, screaming his name.
Meg is drawn to the pain in his gorgeous, tortured voice. But the man she hears on the radio is nothing like the player she meets at a mutual friend’s house party. When she walks in on one of his trysts, she’s embarrassed enough to die. His merciless teasing leaves her blushed and frustrated, but she’s intrigued by his wit, his confidence, his casual offer to give her a night she’ll never forget.
Neither of them wants a relationship, so they strike up an arrangement: They’ll be friends with benefits, nothing more, nothing less. There are only three rules: no secrets, no feelings, no falling in love.
Only neither one of them can quite abide by the terms.

I gave this book 5 stars – Fantastic
1st book on the Sinful Serenade series, is called *Sing Your Heart Out*
This is the love story of Miles and Megara and what a great story it is. Miles is the Hot famous front vocalist of the band, and Meg is just a pre-medical student working really hard at both, she works part-time everything weeknights in the ER to stay barely afloat
They meet through her friend who’s best friends with one of the band members. Miles and Meg are both running from recent losses heartbreak, pain and guilt. This is a raw emotional, HOT sexy chemistry, funny at times, sweet, gives us a roller coaster ride. They make mistakes that can turn their relationship upside-down, It might make unreputable damage, truth has a way of always coming out! I love this couple and was rooting for them the whole time
Great Book!!!! No cliffhangers, and we get a HEA!
Great romance within the rock and roll trope. Good storytelling; very engaging material. Good characterizations; well developed over the course of the story and you could really see the evolving and maturation of the main male and female characters as they formed a romantic partnership. The main male character had a lot of comical relief to his personality; quirky fellow actually but an undeniably lovable person. Excellent camaraderie and solid friendships evidenced within this story; heartwarming to read about.
Excellent work. Thoroughly enjoyable. High Entertainment Value! Highly recommended reading. An author worth following.
I’m planning to get my next tattoo in 2020 to celebrate 10 years of sobriety, and I had no idea what I wanted. “Be brave, live” is perfect. And so is the Sinful Serenade series.
Loved the story. You can really connect with miles and Meg. They have both been hurt and broken and don’t know how to open up to others and let anyone see the broken pieces. They have this back and forth between them. Where they want each other more than what their heads are allowing them to be but keep pushing each other away. Until they realize they can’t not be with one another. Loved the story. You get steam. Lust, cute moments, friendship and healing. Can’t wait for drew and Karas book.
Miles and Meg will keep you drawn to their story. She is an independent woman who stays the course of keeping out of trouble by not dating or drinking. When he hears Miles on a radio station the voice she hears is filled with pain but when she meets him, he is nothing like what she heard on the radio. Miles doesn’t do relationships only one night stands so when they strike a deal of friends with benefits, will they be able to adhere to it?
Beautiful, emotional, sizzling hot and little bit sad.
No feelings, no secrets, no falling in love. It is easy to may a declaration or promise but keeping it it another story. When you have the amazing chemistry that Meg and Miles have, then you no secrets to the mix, that is a sure recipe to create feelings and falling in love. They are two lost souls that soothed each other in the best ways possible. They were in denial just going in circles trying to delay the inevitable. The sex between them is sizzling hot. I love my books scorching hot with great characters and a good story line and the hit the spot. Grief can be overwhelming and debilitating and people need to go through it in their own way. Meg and Miles were good for each other and it helped them to deal of lot negative feelings that were associated with of their grief of loosing someone they loved so deeply. I enjoyed the story.
Loved the book! Crystal has a way of keeping me wanting to read more. Looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
Amazing read. First book i have read by Crystal Kaswell, and i absolutely loved it. She is my new favorite author. I laughed, cried and got carried away. Loved Meg and Miles.
Brilliant
Crystal Kaswell has such great story telling skills and her sarcastic wit makes me love her books and her characters! This is the first series I should have read and the last I’m getting to…. nothing like leaving the best to last!
First book I read from this author. Loved it.
Wanted to reread this series and leave a review this time. I am not disappointed. Miles and Meg are friends with benefits. No strings. No feelings. No lies. But there is always something. You will love following their story and being introduced to the other members of Sinful Serenade.
*squeal!!!!!
This is now the 3rd time I have read this book and only the first time, I have finally forced myself to put my happiness into words.
I apologize Crystal, for the delay.
But holy YAY!!!!!
I am supposed to be reading Miles and Megs story as a part of the First Time boxset. I could have told you by the end of chapter 2, that there is no way I can not read the entire Sinful series. THEN the entire Dangerous series. Im going to busy for a few days.
I think its its obvious that I highly recommend these books and this boxset.
So Happy reading!
Note: I have voluntarily (re)read and reviewed an ARC of this box set.

He’s gonna steal your heart while he wins Meg’s
Meg & Miles were my introduction to Crystal’s books. My re-read was as emjoyable as the first time. Both of them are broken and scared of attachment. Miles, because he doesn’t want to risk his heart and recovery. Meg, because she’s got a plan and a relationship doesn’t play into it. Both have lost people close to them. What starts out as a fwb situation morphes into friendship and more. Miles may still be my favorite. And I’ve loved them all, but he was my first Kaswell BBF. 😉
One of the hottest books I’ve read this year!
