I am a terrible wing-woman. It’s so hard. One minute I’m pretending to check out some chick for Roman, my hotter than hot co-worker, next minute I’m checking out him. I mean, what’s a girl supposed to do.
He is Mr. P.E.R.F.E.C.T. But as we tour around Europe. . . me doing what I do best, my job as a European tour guide, and him as my driver, bending over all the time as he ensures all the heavy … as he ensures all the heavy suitcases come with us, the distractions are as bold as a naked hunk cartwheeling across a stage.
To help Roman get over his ex, I need to focus. It’s dirty job, but I’m willing to put my body on the line if I have to. After all, he’s worth it.
But disaster strikes in the form of my rotten Mother. We haven’t spoken in years. She is one of the reasons why I don’t believe in love. But now she has cancer and wants me to come home to look after her. Why should I? She abandoned me as a child. But what would that say about me if I abandon the only relative I have?
Should I run to the bedside of the woman who stopped being my mother when I was fourteen? Or should I stay and help Roman, the man who saved me in so many ways?
Sinful Temptations, is a smoking hot, romantic comedy, loaded with drama and giggles, about a kick-ass woman who’s taking on Europe, one adventure at a time. You’ll laugh and swoon, so get ready to stay up all night reading.
This is book two in the Six Months of Sin series.

This is the second book in a great series. Join Daisy and Roman on a tour of Europe. Experience s that she wouldn’t have even dreamed of are in store for Daisy. What will happen? You have to read it to find out. I thoroughly enjoyed it….so much so that I couldn’t put it down…Cannot wait for the next book!
This book was as great as the first! It definitely has its unexpected twists and turns! Left me wanting more! Now onto book 3!
This book has everything! Sexy-ness, laughter, and hot men! Did I mention the hot men?! Kitty Kendall really knows how to write a series. I’m in love with this series and can’t wait for the next book!
This book was excellent. The characters were phenomenal. I am looking forward to more by this amazing author.
5 Stars
Sinful Temptation is the second book in the ‘Six Months of Sin’ Series by Kitty Kendall. This is another fantastic romantic comedy, and as with the first book it is a fun and playful read.
As we discovered in book one, Daisy has been living in London, working for a tour company- and had just discovered that her visa wouldn’t be renewed. She is devastated because she’d had so many things she’d always planned to do and see- and now she may never get the chance. So, with only six months left to make the most out of her European experience, plus the fact that her hot new work colleague, Roman, suggested that she was living like an old woman and not like a young 29 year old, Daisy has decided to grab life by the horns and embrace the sexy, young, and fun woman she knows she can be. So, with Roman as her wingman- Daisy set off on a steamy adventure across Europe.
But now she wants to ensure that Roman has some fun and help him forget about his cheating ex. So, she appoints herself wingwoman as they set off on their latest tour. But things don’t always go quite according to plan. Add an estranged mother into the mix, and things take a complicated turn. Roman is hot, sexy, charming, fun, thoughtful, and pretty much perfect- so finding him his ideal woman should be easy. Right? Mmmmmmmmm….. Well, you’ll have to read the story for yourself to find out this all plays out- so grab a copy and dive in- but make sure you read Book One first, because there is a continuing storyline.
Sinful Temptation has a little more drama, and a little less steam and flirty fun than book one- but it was just as entertaining as “Sinful Escape”. This book bouilds on the depth of the characters and storyline, while also sprinkling a little sexy fun into the mix. However, I really did miss the raciness that came with the first book. I really liked that Daisy continued to grow and develop the whole way through this story- even though her inner dialogue and self-esteem issues really frustrated me at time. As well as the push-pull tension between her and Roman. Kitty Kendall is a master of tease!!!! Every time Kitty Kendall got my hopes up, she would pull that rug right out from under my feet- toying with my emotions and all my expectations. I really hope that things work out the way I expect in book three, or I may never recover (lol).
Bring on Book #3- Sinful Promises!!!
Woo-Hoo!!
Thank you, Ms. Kendall!
Is it possible that the Six Months of Sin books can keep getting better with each book ? If so, we shall reach Nirvana by the time we finish reading book three.
Sinful Temptations has its ups and downs for Daisy. She’s trying so hard to overcome the horrid upbringing she’s had. She really works towards living a normal life. That would be one in which her wretched mother doesn’t control Daisy’s happiness.
Roman and his advice is the obvious answer to fixing her life. He talks her into having all kinds of adventures. Many of them involve a romantic or erotic encounter with a dreamboat guy. Eventually, Daisy begins to see that it’s not encounters with others she needs.
I can’t believe I have to wait on another book to come out in this series to see what Roman really has going for himself. Hes an all around perfect fella, so far, it seems. Perhaps he can even top that.
These books are full of some of the most ridiculously funny lines I’ve read in a while. I’d love to share a few but I think you should trust me when I say you’ll love them and laugh your buns off.
I Voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Our favorite big breasted heroine with a inferiority complex is back, and has reminded me of a Maya Angelou quote:
“Hope and fear cannot occupy the same space. Invite one to stay.”
So which one will it be for Daisy? She’s riding a high, until she gets a devastating blow to her confidence, leaving her lower than square one. It’s a scary situation for Daisy, but infinitely funny for me as The reader. She decides to take cues from her good friend Roman, who wants her to get back on the horse. But does he really? This story is so eminently relatable! The story is told from Daisy ‘s point of view, so you get her insecurities. What does that look mean? Is he mad at me? Why is he so quiet? Should I keep quiet or let all my feelings out? Why is he sitting so close to her? Her self esteem issues will make you scream in your head while simultaneously saying to yourself “girl, I know!”
“Just looking at the sweet treats had my thighs growing bigger. Actually, that wasn’t true. My breasts embezzled every ounce of fat destined for the rest of my body, especially my a$$ hoarding it in my lady lumps instead. Like squirrels storing acorns for winter. A @#&% long winter.”
And she makes great stride in this book, recognizing that her relationship with Roman is unlike any she has ever had before. “Like Roman and I were longtime friends, reuniting after years apart.”. But what does it mean when you have a deadline to leaving Europe?
Poor Daisy has her Mother to worry about too. I’m reminded of another quote:
“Family love is messy, clinging, and of an annoying, repetitive pattern, like bad wallpaper.”-Friedrich Nietzsche
Daisy gets pulled in two different directions. Her manipulative Mother who lied and cheated her entire life is actually now telling the truth. She is sick. Should Daisy drop everything for her? You will cheer when she tells the reader her decision. Not because it’s negative, but because she stands up for herself. Once again Roman is there to help Daisy find her inner bada$$. It’s invigorating! I’m so invested in these characters that I need them to be happy.
There’s some delicious tension between Daisy and Roman, and lots of possible misunderstandings. Like two people convinced they don’t deserve each other when the opposite is obvious to everyone else. I can’t wait to read book 3 because there’s still room for both Daisy and Roman to grow, and I need more wonderful traveling tips for when I take my trip through Europe.
