From the USA Today bestselling Red Stone Security series… Alexander Blue has seen enough bloodshed to last a lifetime—or ten. He’s ready for civilian life, but when he sees a mysterious brunette attacked by a mugger, his need to protect kicks into overdrive. Mina, the sensual artist he saved, brings him home and bandages him up, but her gaze cuts clear to his soul. An intense connection isn’t all Blue feels—there was something strange about that mugging; he’s convinced Mina is in danger and needs his protection. Just one problem: Mina doesn’t want saving.

Sinful Seduction (Red Stone Security, #8)
by Katie Reus
Katie Reus at her best – this book is romance, wrapped in scary realistic adventure. Well written, the storyline pulls you in before dragging you in to another world. An excellent romance.
If you like the sound of the books description, you’ll love this story. This is the 8th Red Stone book and I have loved them all.
Katie Reus fast became one of my favorite authors. Her stories are always entertaining and easy to read. Always looking for my next read from her.
Great story! I enjoyed Blue and Mina’s story so much I finished it in a day. As with the rest of the series, their story is full of great characters, a good story line and much chemistry. Normally I can figure out who the bad guy is quickly, but I didn’t see this guy coming which was really nice. If you are new to the series you can read this book as a stand-alone, which I think is nice.
If you like insta-love, have I found the book for you. Sinful Seduction ended up being a fun to read, action-packed book.
At first, I was a bit worried about Mina, the heroine, heading straight to TSTL town, but she veered off fairly quickly and ended up being a surprisingly level-headed and strong heroine who could keep her wits about her in the most precarious and dangerous of situations.
Blue was one sexy, smoldering marine who knew how to take care of business, so needless to say, I liked him too. He embodied the image of a hero, going above and beyond to keep his woman safe. I do wish we’d gotten more insight into his past as to why he seemed so lost. Little nuggets were dropped here and there, but he never felt completely fleshed out as a character to me.
The heat was smoldering with lots of steamy preludes before they finally got to the big finale. As for that finale, it did not disappoint. I love how Katie Reus gives us seriously sexy scenes packed full of emotion. Those are hands down my favorite kind.
There was lots of action which made me all kinds of happy and it was a fairly quick read, which perfectly suited my day. I haven’t read all the books in this series, but Sinful Seduction has given me the perfect excuse to get caught up.
Rating: 4 I Love A Good Finale Stars
Blue is enjoying his new career with Red Stone. But when he saves a local artist from a mugging, he opens a whole can of worms he was not expecting. Mina isn’t just an artist, she is the daughter of a billionaire who has major contracts with the government. So Blue now wonders if they were after Mina herself, or using her to get leverage against her father.
Mina loved her life of semi obscurity in Key West. She was a long way from her fathers influence, she had her freedom. But she isn’t stupid, she knows she could be a target because of her fathers wealth and she takes her safety seriously. Which is why she finds it strange that she feels so at ease with Blue when he rescues her.
But as the story evolves we are left trying to figure out who may be behind the mugging, it looks like it is someone very close to Mina. But Mina faces further tragedy when it is revealed just why she has been unable to contact her father.
Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing and a really tightly crafted story. Blue and Mna were an engaging couple.
So while I own several books from this series, I haven’t read them yet (TBR problems are real, y’all). That being said, I really didn’t have any problems reading this as a standalone. Yes, there were some references to what were obviously previously introduced characters, but my not knowing them didn’t detract from my enjoyment or ability to connect with the story. It was quick and hot with an element of insta-love/lust, but not unbelievably so. The suspense was good and not too rushed, given that this wasn’t a super long read. This has definitely made me reshuffle my TBR to move other books by this author up on my TBR!
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*
Blue will always be there for Mina, having spent a decade as a marine, when his instinct tells him she is in danger he listens.
Daughter of a wealthy father, she has gone under a different name, and lives a quiet one. Till she puts herself in danger, then Red.Stone Security is put in place to protect her. The story is intense, intense between her and Blue, a mystery, and a great story. Part of a series, but can be read alone. Given ARC by Net Galley and Revell for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

It is avvery suspenseful , action packed storyline . The chemistry between Alex ( Blue ) and Mina is an almost instant love . This is an intense story from the beginning . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
I really enjoyed Sinful Seduction. Mina met Blue when he saved her and from there we get a story full of action with some surprise twists thrown in on top of the romance. The story was fast paced and sexy, you can’t ask for much more.
I’m really enjoying the Red Stone Security series. The series is pretty action packed with a bit of danger in each book.
In Sinful Seduction, Mina and Alexander (Blue) meet when he intercepts a kidnapping attempt made on Mina. When Alex finds out her father is extremely wealthy and the reason for the attempt, he offers to protect her.
Blue is a bit of a brooder and not really a people person. Mina is an artist who is trying to live a low key life away from her paranoid father. She is a bit socially awkward herself. They are both hesitant with each other at first but their attraction quickly escalates to make for a very fast and hot read.
Mina is an artist and has a very wealthy father whom she has distanced herself from to try and make it on her own. On her way home, there is an attempted kidnapping but a man intervened and saves her. Blue is former military and works for Red Stone Security firm and when he sees a woman in trouble, he charges in and fights them off. Mina is shaken up and Blue goes back to her place. She hires Red Stone and Blue is her main bodyguard. As the team looks for the men who attempted to kidnap her, they find out some of the calls the kidnapper made were from her father’s head of security phone. He comes to tell her her father is dying and he’s taken into custody immediately. She rushes to where her father is and after he passes away, someone breaks into their room and demands money. Can they save themselves or will Blue lose the woman he has fallen in love with?
Short review because didn’t want to give any of it away. Action, steamy and mystery. The book is not very long but keeps you turning the page. I always read Katie’s stories and can’t wait for her next book.
