This steamy enemies to lovers story is full of white-hot romance: drunken Vegas weddings, heated words that turn into seductive whispers, and a love that blooms in the most unexpected place…To love, honor, and disobey.I didn’t mean to marry Luca Leone one drunken night. He may be the hottest guy I know, but he’s still a total jerk. His sly smile, his massive height, and his muscular body just … and his muscular body just don’t make up for how cruel he can be.
Once our drunken haze wears off, he has a proposition for me.
Stay married for two months, just until his ex’s wedding.
And he offers something I really need: ten thousand dollars to save my family home.
The only issue is that I’m forced to spend time with him, at his house and at his bar, often late into the night.
Soon our feisty arguments turn into the hottest hookups of my life.
I can’t resist him. Once I get past his prickly exterior, Luca is just plain smoking hot.

I loved loved loved this read and was so sad it when it ended. Everything about this book from the characters, the story line, the angst, the humor, the feels were just perfect. This book was a one sitting read for me and I only wish I could re-read it for the first time again
Luca wants to help his sister Luna celebrate her birthday in style so he and his two buddies and Luna and her two best friends are headed to Vegas. He knows that it will mean he will have to spend time with Cate, one of her friends, but he would do anything for his sister.
Cate has been friends with Luna for years but the same can’t be said for Luca. From their first meeting his condescending attitude sparked her fiery personality and every conversation they have consists of arguments rather than conversation.
After a few drinks too many Cate and Luca now find themselves married. Luca wants to use the situation to his advantage so he convinces her to stay married for two months. Let the fun begin!
Not only are Luca and Cate great characters but the cast of secondary characters enhance the story as well. Hot chemistry, humorous banters and all the feels as two people realize that some mistakes can be the best thing to ever happen to you.
Married To My Enemy is a well written love/hate best friend brother romance story. You could feel the chemistry Luca and Cate had for eachother. It was so intense, and sizzling hot. I’m hoping we will get the stories of Luca’s sister and friends. Entertaining read!
Exciting, action packed, sexy, fun and engaging adventure filled with intriguing charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and undeniable passion… was a great read. Really enjoyed this highly entertaining and emotionally thrilling read!
There’s a thin line between love and hate. They’ve always been uncomfortable in each other precens.
Going to Vegas ends up in… How Will they manage?
It was a witty story with a lot of bickering. I loved it.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
So good! Ms. Wood does it again…well-written with well-developed characters. Definitely recommend this book.
I loved Cate and Luca’s story, they had history and it was interesting to see how they get passed it, this is highly entertaining and a pleasure to read.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
What a great read! If you love enemy to lovers books you defiantly don’t want to miss this one! These characters fight with as much passion as loving one another.
OMG I love this book. Vivian is one of my favorite go to authors and this book is one reason why. I was hooked from the very first page. Luca and Cate are so good together. I love their characters. This is a really great story.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
I absolutely loved this book! I was hooked from the very beginning. Luca takes his sister Luna and bestfriend Cate to vegas to celebrate her birthday. After a drunken night in Vegas, Cate wakes up and realizes she married her enemy. I just loved the banter between Cate and Luca. It’s a well written enemy to lover’s story. I can’t wait to read Luna’s story. It’s a must read! I received an ARC for an honest review.
Overall I liked Married to my Enemy. I liked the storyline and flow of the book and I connected with Cate and Luca pretty quickly. There were plenty of hot moments and lot of bickering before and after! For me there were parts that were choppy and some out of place moments/ topics I questioned. I felt the ending was a little rushed and would have liked a little more building up to that ending.
I read an advance copy for an honest review.
Luca and Cate have one thing in common…they hate each other with a passion. Ok. they have two things in common… they both love Luca’s Sister and would do anything to keep her happy. One of those things is a weekend trip to Las Vegas for a blow out birthday party!
Imagine their surprise when they wake up in the morning married to each other! Catherine is a Catholic and does not believe in divorce. An annulment is going to take weeks.
Add to the mix that Luca’s ex is getting married and does not believe that Luca is married (He told her to spite her). When Luca and Cate move in together the sparks fly! They are snarky to each other and maybe a bit attracted.
Is all this enough to keep these two together? Are there real feeling buried beneath all the anger>
There is a fine line between love and hate.
This is the best book that the author has written. The story was emotional, a bit of a rollercoaster, and even though a fantasy, realistic too.
I received a copy of this book through BookFunnel and I voluntarily chose to review it. It is a well written story. I have become a fan of Vivian Wood and I do have to say this is what I expect from her. I didn’t care for the characters at first but they grew on me. Luca was a real pain at times. I would encourage you to get this book. I enjoyed it after I got into it.
Vegas is the perfect destination for this entertaining enemies to lovers story. I loved that Luca and Cate knew each other for years and were enemies and somehow find themselves in a ‘drunk one night in Vegas accidental marriage’. If you have ever read a book by this author then you know you are in for a well written story with plenty of drama, angst, steam, humor, twists and likable characters. If you haven’t read anything by this author you are in for a treat.
One night in Vegas….Their walls come crumbling down…
Cate & Luca barely tolerate each other. And yet they find themselves married after a drunken night in Vegas.
They’re both seeing each other differently after years of acquaintance. He’s her best friend’s big brother. She feels like he’s been judging her since the day they met.
Luca is newly single. His ex is a shallow gold digging beatch. He doesn’t quite know what to make of Cate. But she’s a convenience when he finds out his ex is getting married. And he’s invited.
In the time leading up to the wedding, Luca and Cate discover maybe there could be more.
Heat, tenderness, tension, more heat, manipulative delusional ex, friends, family, and many misunderstandings… But in the end, Luca & Cate are meant to be.
He breaks down the walls she has surrounded herself with and she gives him a new perspective.
Fantabulous. I love enemies to lovers.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book.
Luca and Cate are total opposite of each other and that’s what brings them together.
After losing her parents Cate has shut herself down from love thinking that’s the best way to live life. Until one night of letting loose ends up doing something she never thought would happen.
Luca has always thought of Cate being this rude person because she had what most kids back then wanted and that was being loved.
Luca and Cate have come to an understanding for now and have agreed to to try and help each other out in the mean time.
Loved how you can’t he,o but want them together and feel everything they go through. Such a quick, sexy, and lovable read.
This is a very light side to the enemies to lover’s trope. The couple’s biggest contention between them was that they irritated the heck out of each other. I have read similar type stories that had much more angst and discord. This story felt too predictable. It is a feel-good story and it does make one feel good reading it. I just expected more from it. I hardly would consider the two main characters enemies. The overall story is to make you feel good and it does. The h’s character background is interesting but did not dwell enough on it. I feel it would have added more substance to the h’s character. When I read the H’s background, I guess I was supposed to feel sorry for him. But it seemed it bothered him to the point where his life was altered by it. I got the feeling there was no need to feel sorry for him. He was coping alright. It was the h’s background that did tough on sensitive subjects. But like I said it was lightly gone over where as if the author would have delved a little deeper it would have made a difference. I did enjoy the ending. It was amazing how it affected the H’s mother. The overall storyline is good. The characters need to be fleshed out more and there is plenty of room for improvement.
Intense emotional broken forbidden amazing love story of Cate and Luca
heartstopping ready for more
I love when an author doesn’t just pick one done to death trope and do it again. Vivian def did NOT do that which I loved. She managed to weave bully, bff’s brother, and enemies to lovers all together in a way that felt seamless. The fire and chemistry was off the charts, though I wanted to shake Cate and Luca sometimes and make them just use their words, but they were trapped in juvenile patterns long ago put in place. Enjoyed the twisty, turny roller coaster to get them to their hea!
Cate and Luca will pull you in right from the start and keep you there with banter, emotions, and their with heat and steam. There is a fine line between love and hate will they be able to cross the line from one side other to find what they want? An Amazing read that kept me riveted and wanting more. Can’t wait to read the next
