This steamy enemies to lovers story is full of white-hot romance: drunken Vegas weddings, heated words that turn into seductive whispers, and a love that blooms in the most unexpected place…To love, honor, and disobey.I didn’t mean to marry Luca Leone one drunken night. He may be the hottest guy I know, but he’s still a total jerk. His sly smile, his massive height, and his muscular body just … and his muscular body just don’t make up for how cruel he can be.
Once our drunken haze wears off, he has a proposition for me.
Stay married for two months, just until his ex’s wedding.
And he offers something I really need: ten thousand dollars to save my family home.
The only issue is that I’m forced to spend time with him, at his house and at his bar, often late into the night.
Soon our feisty arguments turn into the hottest hookups of my life.
I can’t resist him. Once I get past his prickly exterior, Luca is just plain smoking hot.
We are both hung up on our mutual pasts, not ready for the flame growing between us.
But we are about to come face to face with the fire we’ve ignited…

Once again Vivian has written a fantastic book! I loved it!
Cate was Luca’s sisters best friend. On a trip to Vegas with friends they wake up hung over and married. What happens next is a wild ride on the road to their relationship. There were many bumps along the way and it was a very enjoyable ride! I loved this book! It grabbed me from the start! I couldn’t put it down! All the characters made it a very entertaining story! I recommend this book to everyone! Read it and you’ll love it too!
Awesome read! Loved Cate and Luca!
Imagine waking up married to someone you outright dislike. Well this is what happens to Cate and Luca.
Cate goes to Vegas for the weekend to celebrate her best friend Luna’s birthday. The only catch is her big brother Luca organised it and she is forced to spend time with him. One drink leads to another and bam they are somehow married. Cate and Luca have never seen eye to eye in all the years she has been best friends with his sister but it’s okay they can get an annulment. That is until Luca uses this as an excuse to save face with his ex and bargains with Cate to stay married for two months. What could possibly go wrong?
This book was a steamy page turner and I loved it. Can’t wait for Luna’s story.
I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.
This was so good enemies to friends to lovers and it’s intense Luca and Cate are so stubborn and hate each other at it’s finest they couldn’t be any more different opposites in everything. I loved seeing them battle to move from one stage to the next what happens in Vegas stays their right well nope and we get a front row seat.
I could not put this down it was that exciting with the secondary characters throughout the story made it that much better I loved them all.
Cate and Luca have history. Well they would have considering that she is his sister’s best friend. So it’s hardly surprising that she is included in birthday celebrations for Luna in Vegas.
What is not really part of the plan though is marriage.
IMO they’re completely clueless that they are in fact, in love!
The beauty of this book is the situations that these two find themselves in leading up to the realisation of their feelings.
With heartbreak and exes coupled with misunderstandings and miscommunication, there is enough fodder to keep the reader engrossed and the pages turning.
Going forward I really hope that the rest of the gang get their stories before long!
Enemies since childhood, Luca and Cate found themselves married to each other after a drunken night in Las Vegas. With their annulment in the works, they decided to move in together. They are constantly fighting and bickering to no end. The story hot and funny, very enjoyable. It has its moments of angst to add to the mix.
Review copy was received for a honest opinion.
Luca and Cate’s story is explosive and a steady back and forth. Sometimes it’s also heartbreaking , yet hilarious at other times …
Both characters are headstrong and obstinate, and there were several moments I wanted to shake some sense into them …
The plot is twisted and it felt like the characters were stumbling through a foggy maze to finally discern their mutual feelings …
This novel is entertaining and a page turner.
Married to my enemy is a romance version of The Hangover with a delicious twist!. Neither Luca nor Cate can stand the others presence but during a trip to Vages for a birthday party both have a night they LITERALLY dont remember. Cate wakes up to find a ring on her ring finger and Luca finds a marriage certificate with their signatures. What starts as a drunken mistakes actually works towards Luca’s benefit but neither expected to fall for the other.
This story is a give and take with some of the hottest scenes written! Luca and Cate have such a explosive relationship that when they come together after an arguement I even get a little steamy. And theres so much more to Luca’s character as you continue reading that you fall for his devilish charm!
I recieved an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
Oh, my if you’re looking for an enemy to lovers tale with sizzling chemistry, sauna level heat, snarky banter, and a cast of characters you cannot help but love.
Then Luca Leone and Cate De Rose’s secret filled chaotic and archaic lovefest will be a winner for you!
It certainly was for me; I enjoyed every harried, hot, and heavy emotionally clustered moment between the messed-up pair.
The secondary characters are amazing! Love how their roles and they help the story flow- I am looking forward to hearing more about them in the future.
An exquisite mini vaca-cover to digital cover read from Vivian Wood I am throwing 5 Stars too!
A funny and entertaining, first read by Vivian Wood. I was insanely frustrated by how stubborn Cate and Luca are, I pretty much wanted to throw my kindle. I wish I could of reached through the pages and knocked some sense into them. I get it though because both of them have pasts that make it hard to trust and let go. And the steam between these two is just combustible. My body and heart were just aching hard throughout this entire book. It’s really well written and just flow perfectly from one page to the next. I just really enjoyed reading this book so much!
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas right? Not for Luca and Cate. It was supposed to be a weekend of fun for Cate’s best friends birthday. All expenses paid by Luca who just happens to be Luna’s brother.
Luca and Cate have clashed since the beginning. They’re from vastly different worlds and have just never got along. Cate, devout Catholic and Luca a total a$$hole. To Cate at least. From the first meeting they’ve been at odds. Nothing could change that. Or so you think.
They are so perfect together but just can’t see it. Where one fails, the other boosts them up. They fight constantly but they’re also smoking hot together. Enemies become reluctant friends then lovers then more. But there’s no shortage of drama when you get two stubborn people together.
I beat read this book and I loved it from the start. Their story is so woven together that it’s surprising it took them this long. I am in love with Luca and Cate and I know you will be too.
Wow…i have never read a book about such a hardheaded couple. I mean there is your standard stubborn and sassy. But Luca and Cate take the cake. They had chemistry like an inferno. Im pretty sure making up is going to be very common and the the most enjoyable part of their relationship. I loved watching them grow and let their walls down.
I would recommend.
Happy reading!

Note: I have voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this title.
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Vivian Wood is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
Married to My Enemy was my first book I read by Vivian Woods and I really enjoyed it and plan to read more of her books. I was able to get an arc copy of this book and I fell in love with the two main characters Luca and Cate.
Luca and Cate grew up in two different worlds. Luca came from money but not the best home life with his parents. Cate grew up with doting parents but not very wealthy. Cate was friends with Luca’s sister Luna and that is how the two met. Luca wasn’t the nicest when he met Cate years ago because of her family life and that caused a riff between the two so they became enemies.
Something happened where they became married. It’s funny how it happened, but based on the title of the book it was bound to happen. They have some downhill battles from there and it was really entertaining.
One think I loved about this book is that it was told from duel point of views from Luca and Cate. I really like to hear what they are thinking and the back and fourth between the main characters. At the end there is a bonus scene told by Luna for the next book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Just like old faithful, I can count on my reliable one-click author Vivian Wood to break me out of a funk. This is a prime example of enemies to lovers, best friend’s older brother, fake marriage troupe and its why I will always read anything she writes. Cate and Luca were equal parts sweet and sexy with plenty of angst filled sexual tension. The background of Cate’s childhood was a cool bonus for me and the exact type of ‘extra touch’ that makes this author’s work stand out for me. I’m hoping for more from this group, Luna is a sweetheart and I want to learn more about Harper.
I love these “what did we do while we were drunk” type of books. Cate and Luca wake up in a pretty bad predicament. What and where they go from here is anybody’s guess but, if the undeniable chemistry is anything, they’re in for a ride.
The abrasive heat between them set this couple on fire!
Opposites absolutely attract in this best-friend’s-older-brother, enemies-to-lovers romance from Vivian Wood, and I just loved it. We all know that if you rub two sticks together furiously enough, they WILL ignite, and, Cate and Luca bore their animosity against each other with furious enthusiasm. They continually rubbed each other the wrong way, and seriously, they were hot!
Cate and Luna had been friends since middle school, and Luca’s first very derogatory comment upon meeting her, immediately offended Cates sense of family and independence that he would dare judge her so badly when it was apparent her family was far less wealthy than theirs. She calls him out on damn near every opinion he dare voice in her presence, and it seemed that they would never cut each other a break, but move to cut each other’s legs out from under the other!!!
Both of them have great values, however, and an innate sense of integrity, and both think the world of Luna, so when Luca treats Luna and her two best friends, Cate and Harper, to a trip in Vegas for her birthday, he takes his two mates and business partners as well. And while Luna found herself a hot man to spend the evening with, it seemed that her brother and best friend found each other in the morning – married!!
Among the extremely sexual hotness that Ms Woods is renowned for, are some stand out romantic moments that I just loved. Luca is not only hot as all hell, and rich, he’s been deeply hurt and only shows his vulnerable side occasionally. Neither Cate nor Luca remembered their wedding, so when the wedding photos arrived, I absolutely loved his reaction at how they turned out.
Throw in some piece of work parents, a hippy grandmother, and the cray-cray ex-girlfriend, and you have a well-rounded romance novel that I couldn’t put down. Vivian Woods has done it again. Another 5-star book that I highly to all who love hot-hot books in these tropes.
And you know that hot man that Luna spend the night with in Vegas? Well he disappeared, and now shows up in the next book!!! Bring it on, Ms. Woods, because I can’t wait
4*
Cate is best friends with Luca’s sister Luna, the two have always clashed.
A trip with their best friends has them waking with a hangover and a marriage licence.
The foundation of this marriage isn’t what you’d expect I thoroughly enjoyed watching it develop. The two definitely had chemistry.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
LUCA AND CATE…LOTS OF STEAM
Cate lost both parents in an automobile accident, and, aside from her best friend, Luna, her hippie grandmother is the only family she has left…They basically live in a commune-like home, and money is not in abundance…
Luca has always despised his little sister’s best friend, Cate….and, while in Las Vegas for his sister Luna’s birthday, and after a drunken night of partying, they wake up married…and neither of them has any recollection of the night before…But, Luca’s selfish, shallow, gold digging ex, Madisyn (who publicly dumped him on social media), is getting married, and he’s agreed to give Cate an annulment…If, she will move in and live with him until after after they attend the wedding….and he will reward her with $10,000….Nothing could possibly go wrong with this situation, right???
I loved the chemistry between Luca and Cate…I also loved how real it was, the stronger their feelings became, the more they lashed out to hurt the other before the were hurt themselves….It was very true to life….Good book…
