Pia Blyton, a succubus, isn’t ready for an official engagement since her skillset consists of setting kitchens on fire, singing at vampire hellholes, and most embarrassingly, she recently passed out in bed while feeding Valerio Hunan, the most eligible incubus in Lake City. Yet somehow he turns a blind eye to all her faults and still wants to set his marriage tattoos on her wrists. The compulsion … compulsion to have sex forces their people to have unconventional relationships. Every three days, she has to orgasm creating energy to survive. She can’t even live off bad sex. Unlike her, Val can’t feed off just anyone. He consumes the energy only a succubus creates and his hunger isn’t on a clock. Most incubi feed legally by luring multiple succubi into marriage with money and power. Val had caught Pia by the heart strings. Sneaky bastard.
When his food supply suddenly stops, he’s faced with starvation. Despite Pia’s adoration, she’s not an all you can eat buffet. He would suck her dry of all her life force within days. In order to save her, Val forces her to leave. With nowhere to go, Pia ends up at the last place she wants to be—her parent’s home, with nothing but her pink suitcase and a list of all her failures.
Pia needs to pull on her big girl panties and figure out why Val’s energy supplies have stopped arriving before he kills some unsuspecting succubus. But the demon inside Val is closer to the surface than either of them realize. When Pia leaves, the only thing on its mind is tracking her down and dragging her back into its bed where she belongs…even if it kills her.

Splendid Finale!!
Pia is once again struggling with her schedule, and her now fiancé Val is not getting his regular feedings which further stresses them both. Her father is also having to add a wife – so competition and tempers and fierce.
When Pia must run to her vampire suitor for help, she instead ends up adding a minotaur to her dinner list, and ruining a business deal.
More complexity, more entertainment and a very satisfying ending to this series.
**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**
After stumbling around and making mistakes left and right, Pia realized that if she wanted to be successful, she had to face problems and solve them without depending on others. Way to go girl! The change was seen! No more mommy and daddy’s baby, naive and complaining. Pia showed she was worthy and mature. I enjoyed the situations with several of the supporting characters and how the author worked them. Funny, interesting and witty. Couple of things I learned! Entertaining, interesting and not predictable situations, intriguing paranormal characters, amusing scenes, jealousy, romance and lot of heated passion succubus way.
This book introduces a whole bunch of new complications for Pia to deal with. It also gave us some new supernatural creatures and a wider understanding of the ones we’d already started to get to know. And I loved every moment of watching Pia step up and deal with it all. Not always with grace or skill, but she still managed to get it all done with only a little help from her “family”. I have no idea what’s coming next for Pia, Val, and the rest of the supernatural citizens of Lake City, but I can’t wait to read all about it.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Pia is about to get a shock. Val’s wives are coming for a visit – will she make it out alive?
Pia needs to grow up, pull up her big girl panties and grow a pair of boobs. These females are not for the faint hearted but would they really harm Val to make a point? Or is there another wrinkle in her HEA?
Pia does a damn good job of pooling her resources to find the root of Val’s problems. No more damsel in distress for Pia! But she’ll need to break a few tacit arrangements to see to her own feedings before she can help Val. The suitors come with their own collection of problems to be sure, not least of which is “John’s” brother and Sin seemingly feeling that he’s hard done by!
3rd book in this series. Succubus Pia is now engaged to Incubus Val, but things aren’t all rosy. Val’s 5 wives aren’t exactly fond of Pia, Pia still needs more donors (people who give her orgasms to feed her succubus nature), demons, and now her man Val isn’t getting enough succubus mojo to remain well fed. Pia and Val are sweet together. Loved the stuff with Pia and her demon bodyguard. Liked seeing Pia becoming a bit more self-reliant. Still not a fan of all the sex scenes; ménage and random partners, just aren’t my thing. I skim most of the sex scenes. Still an entertaining series with some interesting ideas about the succubi and incubi. The vampire has also grown on me a bit. Overall, this has been a fun series to read.
