What a 5 star read from Vivian this lady sure know’s how to give you all the feel’s in her book’s. This was a 2nd chance love for 2 people who you can’t help but hurt for. This book was so good once I started reading I couldn’t stop and oh man the feel’s you’ll definitely need the tissues and not to mention the chemistry between these 2 were hot af
I won this book and Dirty Little Secret in a Facebook giveaway. Although this isn’t the one I wanted, I chose to start with it.
It was good. Not great, but I didn’t hate it. After her boyfriend cheats on her, Rachel runs away to do another job in Seattle. Here she bumps into her ex Grayson who ran away from her years ago with no notice or explanation. He’s placed as her guide so they are stuck together. Sparks fly, apologies occur, and love re-blooms. Nothing special and standard for this book. I was a bit bored reading it. The writing wasn’t bad; it flowed well, but I found it could also be cleaned up a bit more.
I will move onto Dirty Little Secret as well and I am hoping I will enjoy that one more.
Dirty Little Secret is a fantastic best friend’s sister romance story. I loved Olivia and Aiden’s story. It’s a well written angsty, hot and steamy story that kept me entertained throughout. I highly recommend it! I received an ARC for an honest review.
Wow! Loved Olivia and Aiden’s story
Aiden is delivered some truly life changing news and has no idea how to handle the bomb that has been dropped on him. So when he starts working at the Morgan estate, he hopes to find out the truth about his past. Unexpectedly, he winds up finding more than he bargained for when Olivia shows up for her new summer job. Being his best friends little sister he knows to stay away but he has always found her attractive but can he keep his promise when temptation is everywhere he looks.
This story had me hooked til the end and I cannot wait for the next one.
I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.
I’m so happy that Aiden and Olivia finally got their story. These two are a force to be reckoned with. Aiden has known Olivia forever since meeting his best friend Grayson. She’s always been off limits, especially the first time Grayson catches Aiden checking her out. Olivia’s been crushing on Aiden like forever and now that she’s all grown up and when they find themselves years later, the attraction they both felt for each other is still there and amped up like 200%. Each have their own reasons for being at the Morgan estate, Olivia’s is career minded and Aiden, well his is deeply personal. Aiden is fighting his feelings for Olivia, he reminds himself that Grayson will kill him and all Olivia wants is Aiden, consequences be damned! She sees Aiden for who he is flaws and all, he just needs a little push, right? How long will these two be able to ignore the attraction and the heat between them before they give in? Once the line is crossed between friends to lovers, how will their relationship playout in the end? I really enjoyed these two, they are electric, sexy, deliciously steamy and I loved them. I received a copy of this book.
Rachel is from an extremely wealthy family and Grayson is a war-ravaged veteran. They have a history together full of love then he disappears. For five years With no explanation. She doesn’t know if he is dead or alive. Rachel is under the total control of her parents and when she finds her boyfriend cheating on her in their bed, she acepts a job at a forest ranger station for the summer. Finally using her degree as a geologist testing water samples in the national park area. And that is where their worlds collide. Fantastic story. Absolutely brilliant.
A second chance and forgiveness for Grayson and Rachel. A story that starts in their teens and continues years later when these two are forced to work together. They rekindle while building a steady friendship. A twisty page turner!!
What a second chance read that will have loving this read of fast pace story that will draw you in from the very beginning. Wow what amazing read that will have you loving the secrets that come out and have you on the edge of your seat. This book will take you on a edge of your seat and bring your emotions on the twist and turns that are thought out this book.
Rich girl and damaged veteran get their second chance. Really good story. The only thing I had an issue with is in never occurs to Rachel that Grayson had issues until she saw it—and even then she doesn’t really get it. Revenge is accomplished and family issues are dealt with the hard way.
Kiss Me Again by Vivian Wood is an exceptional read about a second chance romance story filled with emotion, heartbreak and love. The characters and storyline was well thoughout as you follow Grayson and Rachel’s past history and what happens when they are reunited 5 years later having to work with each other if they can only overcome their stubborness. They will find that through all of the hurt, loss, guilt and betrayals they both had to endure, the passion and chemistry between these two was explosive and intense from the start. Now with all of the time they are spending together will they be able to help each other heal and get back what they lost? Grayson is trying to overcome his demons that still haunt him and has alot of issues that has left him broken, will he be able to tell Rachel the truth?. Rachel is trying to deal with her past as well as a cheating ex and overbearing parents. Rachel will soon discover that she is becoming stronger and she just might be able to help Grayson get back the strength he needs to deal with his past. Will these two lost individuals have a chance at love and will they overcome the obstacles that are coming their way? This is a fast paced, sexy gripping romance story about getting a second chance at love and is a must read!! I can’t wait for the next story! I voluntairly reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Kiss Me Again is about Grayson and Rachel’s second chance at love and what an emotional ride it is. Rachel and Grayson were in love years before until Grayson suddenly disappeared without a word. Five years later he’s a park ranger and she is his new trainee. This is a heartbreakingly beautiful story about two people in love getting over their pasts and rekindling a love they thought they lost forever. Wow, I loved this book and was hooked from the start! This is one of those stories where you feel for the characters and everything they go through hoping they get their HEA. Definitely a 5 star read!

Kiss me Again by Vivian Wood is the story of a rich girl and poor boy who meet and fall in love. It is a classic story that has been romance readers bread and butter.
Rachel Black comes from uptown, New York where her life has been planned out for her to the very last minute detail. It was never a life where she fit in until she meets Greyson, the cute boy who is deemed to be wrong for her.
Their love is instant and intense. They believe they can handle anything the world has to throw at them until Greyson gets shipped out with the Navy. Becoming a SEAL is his way out of the crap hand life dealt him. When caught in an accident that leaves him physically and emotionally damaged, Greyson retreats from everyone close to him.
Flash forward 5 years… Greyson and Rachel find each other again in a place where neither would expect to find the other.
This books dragged along for me. I found the writing to be lackluster and nothing grabbed me from the beginning. The character’s storylines and the dynamic between the two of them tended to emotionally charged dialogue, but it came across as flat. It didn’t feel as if there was a strong voice throughout the novel. All the characters generally spoke in the same dialect and tone.
The whole story began to pick up a little bit more than halfway through the novel. Once more problems were introduced, I became a bit more invested but still felt that there could’ve been more to it. The flashback chapters were also something that I feel could be reworked. They came at points where they were passed their relevance and didn’t provide the needed insight they are meant to. The characters had already told their perspective of the story at another point, so most of the flashbacks didn’t reveal any additional information.
I wanted the book to be more dynamic. For lovers who haven’t seen each other in five years, I expected the dialogue to be more hostile and emotions to be at an all-time high. The plot didn’t move well to keep the reader engaged until far too late into the story. The steamy parts of the book did make up for some of the slow parts of the novel, and will bring a blush to any reader’s face.
This was a good second chance romance story, which is also shaping up to be a series of stories with interconnected characters. Rachel and Grayson had it going on, but life happened, and five years later, they are back in each other’s lives unexpectedly. Can Grayson get past the guilt? Can Rachel forgive Grayson for leaving her behind?
I liked the storyline, but at times it was a little slow, despite the length of the book. There was some good ol’ frustration and angst between the two main characters, but it does end with an HEA, and I am glad to see that there will be more romance happening with other characters.
I read and reviewed this book voluntarily.
Grayson an Rachel have a past. He went off on a deployment and disappeared.
Years later Rachel takes an internship with the National parks department to get out from under her family’s thumbs and away from her cheating ex. When she arrives the last person she expects to see and be paired with is Grayson.
Grayson had his reasons for staying away. Will Rachel understand and for give? Can they have a future? And what happens when her family comes knocking.
This book for me had a slow start. And some things seems out of place, but it was a good story with a HEA.
*squeal!!!
That was a great ending.
I need me some extended epilogue now.
Wonderful characters and wonderful writing brought this book to life for me.
Not only was obsessed with how Grayson and Rachel were going to figure their stuff out. I was absolutely enchanted with the settings and the landscape. In many parts, I felt like I was there.
I truly loved this book and would highly recommend.
Happy reading!
Rating 5 stars
This second chance romance that will have you on an emotional rollercoaster that doesn’t let you off til the very end. From characters who your heart goes out too and want to see happy, to a storyline that hits home and deals with a very sensitive subject. You will fall in love with these characters and their whole journey and I can’t wait to read more.
“Kissing Grayson feels primal, electric. Raw.”
~Rachel~
This book is about more than a second chance at love. It’s about redemption. These two are so beyond meant for each other, that no fate could have kept them apart. No amount of time.
“And that is the moment that I know that she is it for me . The only one I want, the one I can’t live without.”
~Grayson~
They’ve been through some harsh life lessons, both different than the other. Rachel, the dissalusionment of her family, and the relationships around her. Grayson, losing those closest to him, in a very bad way, and him having to get through that.
“I’m just looking at her. Remembering how it feels to have a piece of my heart cut from my flesh and just wandering around with her, wherever she goes.”
~Grayson~
They both deal with their separation in different ways but in the end….
“This was my always and forever girl. The only girl I’ve ever whispered those three little words to.”
~Grayson~
What’s written in the stars, in just one more kiss, is what’s meant to be.
I enjoyed most of this book, but it didn’t draw me in as much as I hoped. There was a lot of time jumping and I wasn’t always sure when something was taking place. The main characters of Rachel and Grayson were likable and their backstory was compelling, making this a true second chance romance. I really enjoyed my glimpse of Olympic National Park in outside Seattle, Washington as that isn’t a place I’ve read much about. Finally there were several supporting characters, including Aiden, Olivia, Nick, and even Sarah that interested me and I was happy to see the author is planning on doing a story on at least one of them.
This second chance romance had something extra.
Rachel and Gray are really good characters, but the surroundings in this story that makes it an extra good read. Their banter and interaction wants you to read more.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Kiss Me Again is the best ever second-chance, PTSD, hike the National Park, hate big evil corporation book! What conflict, when the reader is so solidly for each: the hero and heroine are both right in their stand-off with each other. Yet, we know how good they were together and we want that for them again. First, I am crying for Grayson’s wartime loss, his disappointment in himself, his stays in psych wards. Then I am crying for Rachel, her demanding and uncaring parents, her desire to be free and control her own life, but most of all her loneliness with the loss of Grayson. And what a trooper that Rachel was! Not at all the spoiled princess one would think! She deserved to enjoy every spectacular view she arrived upon while keeping up with that giant Gray on their day-long hikes. Nobody would guess how Wood brings them to the happy ending. I volunteered this review and recommend this story after reading an ARC!
