From WSJ and USA Today bestseller Vivian Wood comes a steamy, angsty second chance romance.Rachel.The rich girl who stole my breath away ten years ago.The one who had a Navy man like me wrapped around her little finger. The only person to make my heart ache. When I disappeared from her life five years ago, I never thought I’d see her again. And yet here she is, at my ranger station, looking as … here she is, at my ranger station, looking as surprised as I am.
When my boss tells me that Rachel is my summer assignment, I groan.
No good can come from opening up the old wounds.
Rachel demands to know where I’ve been.
I don’t have the heart to tell her the unvarnished truth.
But that doesn’t stop the heat between us.
I dream of plowing my hands into her hair, bending her back, and making her mine once more.
My dark secret, her broken engagement, and so much water under the bridge threaten to shake our very foundations.
Will we be able to put love first this time around?
This is a standalone romance full of heated glances and second chances.

I couldn’t put this book down and I was sad when it was over! Grayson has been through so much. His struggles tell the story of so many who deal with mental health issues. The way this story plays out, you feel the angst, the desperation, and the love it takes to overcome adversity. Rachel also brings drama to the story, but hers stem from a dysfunctional family and shows how strong she has to be to in order to live her life for herself instead of for others. I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
Rachel was naive, privileged, spoiled ritten, and a pawn to be manipulated by het family. I couldn’t decide who was more evil- mom, dad, or Clay!!! So many secrets and ulterior motives afoot! Taking makeup camping gave me fits if laughter! WTH! For part of the story. Rachel seemed to be just like the vipers that spawned her- self serving, arrogant, bullies! When Rachel gets to know some of Gray’s past she finally realizes that there are reasons for his actions past and present. Can Rachel get a backbone and stand up to the evil in her life, or will she succumb to it as she has in the past? I couldn’t believe the audacity of Rachel’s family interfering in Gray’s life/career! I’m sick and furious at the same time. The final straw was the backstabbing mom and dad did to Rachel- seeing RED! Aiden and Olivia were two dirty sly foxes. They could have at least admitted it to Gray and Rachel! Not liking their secrecy at all! I was hoping daddy went to prison and mommy dearest too! A girl can dream!
A great second chance story. Grayson and Rachel met as teenagers. Grayson served his country and came back a changed man. Circumstances changed him and he drifted away from Rachel. A fun twist brings them back together and a great story of getting to know each other again begins. The reader is treated with snippets of their past together woven into the present. A great second chance romance written beautifully!
This wonderful second chance romance will pull you in and have your emotions reeling as the story unfolds. I thought that Rachel and Grayson’s story was very engaging and entertaining. This intensely emotional read is filled with heartbreak, angst, drama, heat, tension, twists and plenty of secrets. If you enjoy stories that are real heart wrenchers you do not want to miss this one. This is my honest, voluntary review.
I read an advanced copy for an honest review.
This is a second chance love story about Rachel and Grayson. Their story is fulll of a lot of angst and emotion and you are really rooting for them to make it work.
The side stories and the story that gets these two together is a little predictible. There were some parts of the story that were a little confusing as far as the chronological order of events, but it is a minor inconvience.
Rachel’s parents are your typical “villian” type parnets that you hope Karma will will get them in the end.
It’s a nice story.
I understand that the author tries to write a lot of stories to please her audience.
I wish she would write fewer stories that were a little deeper and more emotional. This is strictly my opinion.
Vivian Wood casts out emotional whiplash with Grayson and Rachel’s extraordinary second chance at life and love in a sexy, all-consuming, heartbreaking, swimming in feels romance!
Wowza!
‘Kiss Me Again’ is not your average second chance romance. PTSD, dark pasts, coupled with chokehold of a future, loss, and lovelessness. Nature’s healing powers and true love are just what these two lost individuals need to find what they’ve been missing.
That is if they can get past their stubborn ways and the roadblocks of others!
Fast-paced high intensity, powerful connection, and heat, a beautifully broken story with many layers to uncover. Along with amazing first and secondary characters, I cannot wait to hear more about in the future!
Kiss Me Again is a second chance romance that will have you feeling every bit of angst, anxiety, anger and hurt to the point you will feel like you need to crawl out of your own skin. Rachel and Grayson were young when they met and fell in love and they weren’t much older when tragedy, guilt and despair tore them apart. As their worlds come crashing together years later, it will take nature and nurturing to have these two face what they have tried to ignore. A story that will have your emotions as high as a mountain and teetering on a cliffs edge ready to spill over. Rachel and Grayson will cause your heart to ache but will mend it all in a kiss. Their story is passionate, steamy and mesmerizing. From the very first page you will be captivated by their journey to find their way back to each other.
I love this one! It’s got a troubled, smoking hot ex SEAL, the rich girl who wants more for her life, and the second chance they though they would never get!! There is drama, guilt, secrets, intrigue, betrayal, and so much passion and tension…such a fabulous book!
I love Vivian’s books. I knew once I started, I’d have to finish it. A heartbreakingly beautiful second chance romance. I devoured every single word!
