This steamy workplace romance story is full of white-hot passion: drunken Vegas hookups, heated glances between a boss and his sexy employee, and a love that blooms in the most unexpected place…
A few do’s and don’t for when you take a summer internship on a yacht:
Do pack your medical supply bag (duh, you’re supposed to be the ship’s medic).
Don’t mingle with the ultra rich passengers who’ve … ultra rich passengers who’ve booked the boat.
And definitely don’t hook up with the brooding, hot as hell captain.
Not even when the way he looks at you is intense enough to set you on fire.
As you travel up the Alaskan coast, the tight quarters may seem smothering.
Here is a tip: let the captain keep his secrets, just like you will keep yours.
Sure, the first time he breaks down and kisses you may throw a wrench in things.
And yes, you will end of naked and calling out his name on a few occasions.
But don’t start softening towards the big, angry man in charge.
And whatever you do, don’t you dare begin to fall in love with him…
Get ready for Gabriel and Luna to take your breath away!

Luna and Gabe take on a sweet, steamy, emotional read that will pull you in and keep you there and wanting more and more. You will laugh, cry, and fall for these two and all they have been thur. Can these two get past their insecuritys from the past and learn to trust or will it be too much for them to get over. Amazing read that touched my heart. Can’t wait to read what she has next.
Remember Luna Leone from Married to My Enemy? She’s the younger sister of Luca and good friend of Cate. Luna was in medical school, came from a moneyed background, and was generous, and down-to-earth. Well, Luna’s graduated med school & plans to work on an Alaskan cruise ship for the summer where she’s reunited with Gabe. She and Gabe had a sizzling, anonymous one night stand in Vegas, so when they meet again, it’s awkward. These two have a sexual connection but both are grieving hard for different reasons. Gabe is moody, and has some black and white thinking (all women are liars)-that lack of vulnerability made it hard to connect with the push-pull thing he kept doing with Luna. I didn’t find Luna’s behaviour consistent, which made it hard for me to connect with her. In all, it was an okay read for
What was a one night stand becomes more when he becomes your boss. This newest release was an enjoyable read, I loved the setting it wasn’t your typical office space. Instead we get great background that will take your breath away and tights corners where the loving heats up. Some drama, banter galore and a HEA makes for an entertaining must read.
This is a fantastic book! I love the characters and this storyline. It is not your everyday story of a boss/ employee story. Their journey keeps you turning pages to see what happens next. Their bantering keeps you grinning. Their chemistry is off the charts. At times you will want to go “what is wrong with you…” This is a highly recommended read! I can not wait for more from this author. I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy from the author.
I’m glad we got to know more about Luna who was introduced in the last book. She was the sister of Luca and the best friend of Cate. In her story she only has one choice for her internship and it’s on a boat. The captain is none other than the one night stand she had in Vegas. The story was emotional and steamy. Gabe is a little on the surly side but he comes around. Great book. I enjoyed reading about these two.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
Luna and Gabe have a fun one night hook up while partying in Vegas thinking that things end there until Luna starts her medical internship and when she meets the captain of the ship she will interning on it’s none other then Gabe who is not as open as he was during there hook up. Gabe is dealing with alot of emotions involving his past and his views on Luna aren’t who she really is. This was a fun, sweet and steamy read
Sleeping with my Boss by Vivian Wood is the story of Luna and Gabe.
Gabe’s fiancée died but along with that death he learned some upsetting things about her and some lies she had told. Gabe takes the time to go through this lost but hasn’t focused on any other women, except a one night stand in Vegas. That Vegas encounter was Luna. Luna is a medical student who happens to take a intern job that leads her back to her one night stand. Luna comes from a rich family but nothing has been easy for her and she tries to work hard along with studding hard. Gabe is to be her boss on this intern job and he isn’t to happy about it. Luna brings feelings in Gabe that he doesn’t want to feel but can’t seem to stop them with her. Enjoyed reading their story.
Sleeping With My Boss was good. I wondered what had happened with Luna in Vegas for her birthday. She met the hot, brooding Gabriel and they had an amazing one night stand. Months later she’s going on an interview for an internship and sees him again, this time as her boss. I loved Luna and her girlfriends. Gabe, he frustrated me. Glad he had his sister to set him straight. This was an enjoyable story with genuine characters that had sizzling hot chemistry. Also, drama, obstacles, emotions and steamy passion.
Gabe and Luna are absolutely adorable! They might push each others buttons most of the time they are together, but ultimately they were meant to be together and support one another. We get a chance to meet Luna in the first book of the series Married to My Enemy where Cate and Luca were the main characters. Luna is Luca’s sister and Cate’s best friend. It was nice getting a chance to see Luna’s character flushed out in this book. Both Gabe and Luna have their own demons they need to overcome, but it becomes apparent that together they really are happier. I am loving this Steamy Workplace series by Vivian Wood and I can’t wait to read more of them!
Luna is going to med school and is almost finished. She has to find an internship but due to health demands there is only one opening left. As the medical oficer on board a tourist boat. But there is a big surprise. The captain of the boat is the gorgeous Gabe, a very hot one-night stand she had. Very hot. This was a fabulous story and I loved it from beginning to end. Highly recommended.
I fell in love with this story from the beginning. Luna goes to Vegas with her friends & ends up hooking up with Gabe. They have instant chemistry & have a fun short lived fling thinking they will never see each other again. Luna also has to do an internship for college & is one of the last students to pick hers. She ends up working on a yacht for a month for her internship….which Gabe just happens to work on also. Gabe has some major trust issues going on from his past & Luna has secrets of her own. The chemistry is still there between them but Gabe is hard to read. During the day he is very standoffish to Luna. Can they overcome their pasts to be together or is this just a fling? I loved the story that Vivian Wood painted with this book.
What a wonderful and exciting read. Luna and Gabe have got some major chemistry. One night in Vegas is all either one seems to be looking for. No names no personal information exchanged. Little do either of them know that it isn’t going to be the last they see of one another. Luna returns from her weekend with friends and family to find she has missed the deadline to chose where to do summer internship for medical school. Left with only one choice, she takes the assignment on a charter yacht. Gabe it turns out is the captain of yacht. He has been dealing with some issues and wants nothing to do with Luna. The two can not deny the connection they seem to have and fight it for as long as they can. Becoming friends along the way. Both begin to let the other in. Gabe has trust issues though. He’s been lied to before and when Luna keeps a secret from him he sees his life repeating itself. Luna is torn between the chance at becoming the doctor she wants to be and being loyal to Gabe. She knows she can’t go through with betraying him. Both are trying to guard their heart. This was a great read. The passion and love that blossoms between them is so intense. I found this book so entertaining. Full of surprises along the way as well as some well placed humor between some of the characters. It is a must read for fans of Vivian Wood. Wonderful HEA!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Luna decides to let loose and go out to drink. She meets a man and they have one amazing night, then goes back to real life. Luna has been trying to keep up with school and her health at same time. When she’s able to go back to work, she discovers she’s only got one option for internship. She goes for interview and gets hired. When she meets her boss, she’s shocked but can she ignore it and do her job? Gabe has his own baggage and has sworn off relationships but can he resist Luna?
I love how Gabe and Luna hook up then surprise meet again and there is so much angst and heartache both coming from different worlds just trying to make it day by day.
I have to say Luna is spectacular she is strong willed with passion and
So outspoken I loved her and how she put the questions to Gabe to shake him free of his pity party and live life.
Fantastic characters and scenery bring on a boat in close quarters equals a whole lot of Hot!!!
loving this series Luna and Gabe grabbed my heart and squeezed
intense emotional heart stopping ready for more
Luna comes from a rich family and she is studying medicine. Because she has been sick she was to late for a internship and the only one left is on a cruise to Alaska. But is isn’t easy when the boss an captain on the ship is Gabe a one night stand from Vegas. The chemistry between the two of them is strong but Gabe is having trouble with trust because of his ex. Can he trust Luna or is she having secrets that can destroy his dream. I loved this book. Romantic but also very emotional and so exciting. I really enjoyed reading it
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Vivian Wood is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
The entitled win again!!! There was SO much not to like about Luna, that I found it hard to overlook. Poor little rich girl Luna “planned” to sabatoge Gabe for most of the story. Someone who’s almost a doctor was contemplating something unethical!!! She lacked character and integrity; how can you trust her as a medical professional???? Her dramatic outburst at her bff and brother’s news was so selfish and immature- poor little rich girl AGAIN found lacking!!! She turns to daddy to solve her problems with Dr. Montgomery- money talks and solves problems again. I pitied Gabe’s past and now he’s dealing with a poor little entitled rich girl for LIFE! Hopefully, the cost isn’t too high for Gabe, but it was for me!!! I gave it a 3 star because Luna is lacking in all but money. Just a pretty empty shell!
I loved this book! Gabe and Luna were great! They meet in Las Vegas and spend a wonderful night together. Going forward Luna has an internship on a charter boat. Who turns out to be her boss? Gabe! Things were bumpy at first, but smoothed out as they sailed along. This book has it all! A perfect blend of emotions, tension, chemistry chemistry, angst and plenty of sizzle and steam! The storyline was great and the characters were fantastic! It was very easy to get lost in this story. I enjoyed very much! Thank you Vivian for the fantastic story! I can’t wait for the next book!
This author has never NOT come through for me, always bringing me just the right amount of angst times sexiness plus enough realness and relatability to the characters to just suck you right in. Gabe and Luna are just the type of story I need right now, the bickering, the battling, with each other and with themselves. Both stubborn in their own right, their journey was just perfectly THEIRS and I loved every minute of it, the vulnerability and rawness and honesty I felt from this author’s words, I felt them inside, thats not something that happens every book your read, its rare and real and I love that.
