This steamy workplace romance story is full of white-hot passion: drunken Vegas hookups, heated glances between a boss and his sexy employee, and a love that blooms in the most unexpected place…
A few do’s and don’t for when you take a summer internship on a yacht:
Do pack your medical supply bag (duh, you’re supposed to be the ship’s medic).
Don’t mingle with the ultra rich passengers who’ve … ultra rich passengers who’ve booked the boat.
And definitely don’t hook up with the brooding, hot as hell captain.
Not even when the way he looks at you is intense enough to set you on fire.
As you travel up the Alaskan coast, the tight quarters may seem smothering.
Here is a tip: let the captain keep his secrets, just like you will keep yours.
Sure, the first time he breaks down and kisses you may throw a wrench in things.
And yes, you will end of naked and calling out his name on a few occasions.
But don’t start softening towards the big, angry man in charge.
And whatever you do, don’t you dare begin to fall in love with him…
Get ready for Gabriel and Luna to take your breath away!

One night stand of amazingly hot sex in Vegas with a total stranger. One guy in mourning of a woman who doesn’t deserve the time he is giving her and feels tremendous guilt over the one night he gave in. One girl who is trying to get her education and had an amazing hookup on her birthday. Everyone in this story wants to shake some sense into Gabriel, even though they don’t know the truth of what happened to his fiance. Luna needs this internship for medical school and will blackmail Gabriel to stay on the ship to get it. There is a little drama and intrigue thrown in.
A steamy yet sweet, emotional story. I really like Luna and Gabe. And the storyline was great. Couldn’t put it down once I started.
This was such a great read. It made me laugh and frustrated with the character’s thinkings at times. Luna and Gabe had a hot and steamy one night stand in Vegas. They never thought they would see each other again. How wrong they were. Six months later Gabe becomes her boss. He is the captain of the yacht they will be taking to Alaska, while Luna is the doctor. They try to keep professional, but as you know, that goes out the window. They end up finding out more about each other and grow closer. These two come from two different worlds. Will that come between them? This has some suspense, blackmail, guilt, secrets, and some hot and steamy scenes. Luna and Gabe are so perfect for each other. Their chemistry is explosively hot and they have a strong connection that gets stronger as they work together. You will get to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones. I loved this storyline and the characters. I recommend reading this book. It is so good.
Vivian Wood scored a home run. Luna and Gabe are hot fire. This is a funny romance with seductive sizzle included. This is a complete stand alone, but I recommend you read Sleeping with My Enemy first because there you will be introduced to Luna. Love the chemistry between these two. It’s sexy, sensual, seductive, and a easy page turner. It’s told in different points of view, no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a hea. I highly recommend this book.
All Luna wants is to be a Doctor and have a family of her own. But life has a funny way of getting in the way and taking away the one thing she wants more than anything.
Out on a new Internship she sees the one night stand she met in Vegas and the greeting doesn’t go as planned.
Gabe’s life took a turn and he thought he would just move on. Yeah right!
Gabe and Luna both have struggles they need to deal with and what a perfect way than to dealing with it together.
I thought it was well written and detailed. Definitely worth the read.
Highly entertaining, sexy, fun and action packed romantic adventure filled with engaging charters, sexy fun banter, heart racing twists and emotionally thrilling passion. Was a great read from beginning to end and I really enjoyed every exciting turn.
Gabe and Luna are on fire!
This is the second stand-a-lone book in Vivian Wood’s Married enemies to lover’s series, but we did meet Luna in the first book, where, as a result of one solid night of partying in Vegas, her best friend Cate ended up married to Luca, Luna’s older brother. I loved her integrity, loyalty and call-your-best-friend-on-her-sh!t personality. This is going to set her in good stead for this book!
She’s going to need all of her mettle because during Vegas party night, Luna had a hot and steamy night of her own, and she’s now realising, that what happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay there. She’s just been employed for her summer medical internship, and the hot intense man that she spent the night with is going to be her new boss.
Luna was great. Yeah, she is rich, but I don’t believe she was spoilt other than to accept that a certain high standard of living was normal. She’s also had her own demons to battle, and by her own words, she’s also fashionable, but not dumb. So, if Mr Grumpy and Handsome thinks he can tell her not to accept the internship, the last placement available for the summer, then he’s going to have to suck it up, because she’s not going anywhere. Where her medical expertise was needed, she was the epitome of professionalism, and my respect for her rose even more.
Gabriel was in a bad place when a beautiful siren approached him in Vegas and knocked him off the pedestal of anger and betrayal that he had imposed upon himself. He spent an amazing night with her, then shamefully regretted his behaviour for abandoning the year-long situation he had applied to himself. As handsome and sexy as he seemed to be, I just couldn’t warm to him, although his loyalty to most of his family and the business was to be admired.
If there was one area I wanted more of, and this is because I’m inquisitive, it’s just that I wanted to know what happened with Michelle. I’ll say no more because I don’t want to spoil stuff, but I really wanted to know how, and why???
Ms Wood did a superb job of ramping that chemistry between Luna and Gabe. Wow, there was plenty of hot sex and intimate moments of emotion between these two. I found it hard to put the book down when real life interfered, so readers who love Vivian Woods will not be disappointed. 4 Stars
Oh this story is another addicting book written by this author. From the beginning she knows how to draw you into the characters story and keep you glued to the screen needing more. I absolutely adore these characters a lot and just couldn’t get enough of them and loved everything about this book.
This book has plenty of laughs, some awkward moments, tense times and learning what you perceive someone to be ins’t necessarily true and communication is the key to everything!! Luna is trying to get her life back on track after some health issues and Gabe is desperate to win the up coming regatta and now they are stuck on a boat after they had a one night stand months ago ….talk about awkward!!! The attraction they first felt is still there but there is plenty to work through like how he sees rich people, the betrayal of his ex fiance and distrust he now has but Luna also has secrets that affect them both and one involves Montgomery, Gabe’s enemy in the regatta and the man that holds the strings to Luna’s career!
This was an okay read for me. I wasn’t thrilled with Luna’s character. She just made me not like her…whiny, weak and indecisive. Yuk – I like a strong, determined woman! The storyline itself was good and there was drama, so it made this an okay read for me. I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
Both Gabe and Luna has a history that made who they are, but also in their love life.
When they first meet in Vegas the sexuality between them is sparkling. They thought that they will never meet again.
Next time they meet, it still sparkles between them.
A good storyline with likeable characters, but they were a bit uneven in the way they acted.

I really wanted to get into this story but it was hard. Luna’s character was hard to get a read on and wasn’t easy to like. I liked Gabe better.
Luna comes from a privileged background, but she is determined to forge her own path which is why she is studying medicine in college. One of the requirements is that she take part in an internship however the only position available is on a yacht. That in itself wouldn’t be so bad, but finding out her boss is the man she spent one steamy evening in Vegas with is a complication she doesn’t need.
Gabe is a man with a painful past which has left him not only wanting nothing to do with love or relationships and questioning his judgment when it comes to women. The last thing he needs is being in close contact with the woman who raises feelings in him that he never wanted to experience again.
Every time they are together the sparks fly but if they are going to have a future together they must be honest with each other about their pasts.
If you’re looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you’ve found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solid and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Vivian Wood did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.
I voluntarily submitted an ARC review for this book.
Luna and Gabriel had a one night stand three months ago. They didn’t know each other’s names, only sharing a night of hot sex. Now Luna is doing an internship aboard the ship that has Gabriel as captain. The totally unexpected meeting is only the beginning between this couple. Gabriel is determined to mourn is ex fiancee, even though her lies came out after she died. Luna makes it hard for him to keep that promise. Luna can break through Gabriel’s barriers like no one else. A wonderful couple and great story.
I’m pleased Luna got her own story. It was interesting seeing first hand what makes her tick. She hasn’t had it easy health wise and after letting her hair down on a birthday night out in Vegas what should have been left in Vegas follows her as it seems her one night stand is actually her new boss. Both have issues but as they together and tackle their issues. Packed full of drama , angst, steam and humour we find ourselves drawn into another brilliant book by this author.
What if a person that you had an immediate connection to in the past suddenly becomes your boss? That is the situation with Luna and Gabe. Now add in a behind the scenes villain that wants to destroy your future career. Then toss in baggage from previous relationships with a side of wealthy versus middle class. Voila! You now have the recipe for Sleeping With My Boss. This recipe is not on the easy list. There are struggles with every step. However, the final product is an amazing book that pulls your heart strings more than once. I really enjoyed their story.
A sexy, sweet read that I really enjoyed. After a one night stand, Gabe and Luna, are unexpectedly brought back together. Both have issues that they struggle with that keep them from pursuing relationships. When together they ignite like no other. I loved every second devouring this read!
Gabe is a man in conflict with himself. Secrets and revelations have come to light about the woman he thought he knew and loved. His faith in women is at a low. Luna looking to solidify her goals takes a job that brings her right in the face of her sexy one night stand. They are off to a rocky start before they achieve their HEA, in a journey of angst and drama.
This book had a little bit everything it in. There were sweet moments with a lot of sexy moments as well. Even with all this there was still drama and angst too.
Luna is has not had it easy and thinks she will never love again. She is behind on her summer internship placements and is left with only one pick. However, she never imagined she would run into her one night stand.
Gabe is trying to get his life back on track. However, with his past haunting him will he ever be able to do so?
The chemistry between these two is instant however, they never plan to see each other again after Vegas. What will happen when they run into each other again and in a work setting?
Overall this book was a great read and touched my heart with all the feels. I can’t wait to read what Vivian Wood comes up with next.
