This steamy workplace romance story is full of white-hot passion: drunken Vegas hookups, heated glances between a boss and his sexy employee, and a love that blooms in the most unexpected place…
A few do’s and don’t for when you take a summer internship on a yacht:
Do pack your medical supply bag (duh, you’re supposed to be the ship’s medic).
Don’t mingle with the ultra rich passengers who’ve … ultra rich passengers who’ve booked the boat.
And definitely don’t hook up with the brooding, hot as hell captain.
Not even when the way he looks at you is intense enough to set you on fire.
As you travel up the Alaskan coast, the tight quarters may seem smothering.
Here is a tip: let the captain keep his secrets, just like you will keep yours.
Sure, the first time he breaks down and kisses you may throw a wrench in things.
And yes, you will end of naked and calling out his name on a few occasions.
But don’t start softening towards the big, angry man in charge.
And whatever you do, don’t you dare begin to fall in love with him…
Get ready for Gabriel and Luna to take your breath away!

Luna and Gabe’s storyline was a sweet contemporary romance read with lots of steam. From opposite side of the track per se, but with similarities.
Two insta-lust to lovers with exes that impacted their present. You root for them to attain their HEA, which they do, but admittedly I was hoping for a bit more of an extended prologue. Steamy read though.
loved it
You ever heard the old saying “What ever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” that’s what Luna hoped till she found out her one night stand turns out to be her new boss and he’s non to happy to see her again…hmmm I think he protest a lil to much when Luna shows up for a job interview working as the medical attendant plus you have to love a sister who likes stirring the pot.
Title: Sleeping With My Boss

Part of a Series: In the same world as Married to My Enemy – While you don’t need to have read Married to My Enemy I recommend it because it’s a great story as well.

5/5
Vivian Wood does it again with Sleeping With My Boss. We met Luna in Married to My Enemy (Cate and Luca’s story – Luna is Luca’s sister). I love the characters in Sleeping With My Boss. I was rooting for them throughout and loved the banter. I really loved Gabe’s sister with her no BS attitude. If you’re looking for a fun, sexy and emotional read then pick up Sleeping With My Boss today.
I received this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Gabe wasn’t ready for Luna,
Not at all!
But I can’t blame Gabe. He’s been through a lot of hardships and dealing with the loss of his fiancé he’s completely closed himself off the dating scene but a weekend in Vegas and lust filled night with a gorgeous girl did him in.
He just wasn’t expecting her to be on his boat as his employee and his only medical staff.
Disclaimer I received an arc copy for an honest and voluntary review!
Luna and Gabe are hot! They start out by meeting in Las Vegas and have a steamy fling. Fast forward, and these two meet again. Only this time, Gabe is Luna’s boss. They work on a boat, so they are close. Gabe is learning to love and trust again. Luna is learning to open herself up. They begin to navigate through their feelings and learn from each other.
This is part of a series, but each book is a standalone. There are great characters in the books.
I loved Luna and Gabe and their love story that unfolds in a hot but romantic way.
Luna and Gabe first meet in Vegas …but what happens in Vegas most certainly doesn’t stay in Vegas!
I love Luna she may come from money but that girl is down to earth and fiesty and boy does she rock Gabes world.
Gabe has a guard up that has him being moody and down right miserable until a certain little blonde comes crashing into his life weather he wants her there or not but he most definitely thought he was leaving the little bombshell in Vegas but when she unexpectedly ends up as his employees trying to keep his distance on a boat nonetheless is near impossible …let the rollercoaster ride commence because Gabe is in for the ride of his life!
Loved this book Vivian Wood never disappoints!
I have enjoyed most of Vivian Wood’s work, and she’s usually a one-click author for me. I received an advanced copy of Sleeping With My Boss, but I’m still undecided about where this story ranks amongst her other books. It started off very sexy with the mysterious one-night stand, but then tapered off a bit. Things felt slow to me, and not in the slow-burn way that I usually love.
The hero, Gabe was supposed to come off as grumpy, but he was more like a little uptight and very snappy. I realize that he was still mourning the loss of his fiancée, but still… I loved Luna’s sweet, carefree nature and sunny disposition, even though it came off as a little less than mature sometimes. Maybe it’s just me, but a lot of the interactions between Gabe and Luna made them seem much younger than they actually were; more like teenagers. At least, that’s how it felt in the beginning. I also didn’t find their chemistry as strong as I would have liked. The sex did heat up a lot with them, but it didn’t reach the “Vivian Wood” sexiness and scorch level that I’m used to.
I was a little worried about the foreshadowed conflict; especially with our hero’s default setting being grumpy, the circumstances surrounding his fiancée’s death, and who the pompous, jerk/antagonist was. Call me sensitive, but I didn’t want the hero to say or do anything that couldn’t be forgiven because of a misunderstanding. It didn’t appease my nervousness either when Luna chose to not come clean with Gabe from the get-go about something that wouldn’t have been her fault in the first place. And to be honest, that whole thing with Dr. Jerkface was just asinine, and he was nothing more than a lecherous bully and a first-grade jack@$$.
Despite a few misgivings about Gabe and Luna throughout the story, I did agree that they were a pretty good couple. When they both finally opened up with each other about their pasts, it was nice seeing them realize that they could relate to each other in a flipside/situational opposites kind of way. I was glad to see that things worked out for them.
*contains spoilers
Gabe and Luna meet at a club in Vegas and things get very hot and sexy fast. Luna seems to be very confident and assertive with what she wants and she wants a night with Gabe. Months later she ends up working for him along a boat for her internship in medical school.
Gabe has recently suffered not just the loss of his fiancé who killed herself, but also finds out how much she lied to him during the relationship. He gives himself 1 full year to grieve but Luna makes it very hard for him to stick to it. He is broody and not trusting of people who come from money.
Luna is his opposite. She is carefree, fun, and even though she is rich and loves spending money, she isn’t selfish and she cares a lot for other people. Luna’s last relationship ended after her endometriosis diagnosis.
While aboard the ship they try to resist anything happening between them but their chemistry is too much and they can no longer stay away from each other. I loved their relationship that started off sexual but you could see how much they grew to care for each other with each and every interaction. “If anybody else saw me like this, so naked and utterly desperate, I would die. But I look at Gabe and the desire in his expression emboldens me.”
What an entertaining book to read! The thing I loved most about the book was a personal reason. Luna and her endometriosis made me connect with her more than any other character. While I do not share the same diagnosis, I share the same fertility struggles and her journey was written the most believable than any other I have read before. When she says: “ I have money. I have a career. I have guys. That should be enough” I truly understand her and how she feels like she should have enough in her life to be happy but she knows she is missing something. The pain when her brother and best friend announce they are pregnant, I felt her pain, I know that pain.
Good book
Sinful Boss by Vivian Wood is about a one-time hook-up in Vegas. The hook-up later turned out to be an employer-employee type of relationship that could break either party. The moral of the story, what happens in Vegas rarely ever stay in Vegas.
A little too unreal for me so it was difficult to identify and to resonate with. Still, it was an easy read.
AMAZING!!!!
Great from start to the end
Was ok
I really enjoyed reading this book ..loved the characters too .
Well worth reading!!
I received a free copy of this book through BookFunnel and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This one is well written. It has some excellent characters. This isn’t my usual type of book but I enjoyed this one. I will encourage everyone to get this one. It is worth your time.
Love this twist on the workplace romance! Luna needs to do an internship to continue in med school. Even though she comes from a wealthy powerful family, she wants to earn her spot in whatever she does, even if that means working on a private boat all summer. It may be her last resort, but she is determined. She has one final smoking hot fling before the summer and is ready to take on the job, until she sees who her boss will be! Gabriel and his sister work hard to keep their fathers business afloat and he truly loves his job. What he doesn’t love is having a woman medic on his boat all summer, especially when he sees he Vegas fling in front of him. They each have their secrets and baggage, but they can’t deny the chemistry that is still there. Just when things heat up between them the secrets come out. Their journey to their HEA will keep you glued to each page!
I absolutely loved it and could not get enough of it once I picked it up and started reading it. I loved how the both the main character’s relationship grew throughout book both in character and in depth. I highly recommend that you read this book.
