Just friends. We’re just friends. No, really. She’s just my best friend… Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth grade, even when we “hated” each other. We’ve been there for one another through first kisses, first “times,” and we’ve been each other’s constant when good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away from each other…) Throughout the years, … other…)
Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says, we’ve never crossed the line.
Never thought about it.
Never wanted to.
Until one night changed everything.
At least, it should’ve …
Just friends.
We’re just friends.
I’m only saying this until I figure out if she’s still “just” my best friend…

I love friend to lover stories. This was a good story. I like the duel pov. And I loved both Carter and Arizona and the chemistry between them. Sincerely, Carter is a sweet and funny story that I definitely recommend!
Oh my goodness this book was amazing!! I’m seriously enjoying binge reading the author so much, nothing has disappointed me yet!!
I love a good best friends to lovers trope and this one was just perfect.
I absolutely loved Carter and Arizona as friends and I really really loved them when they added in the benefits. This pair oozed chemistry and had such a great chemistry.
Loved the storyline of this book and OMG that epilogue was everything.
Great book with great characters.
Loved this story! I couldn’t stop reading until it was finished. Lovely characters! I enjoyed the integration of their youthful correspondence! This book made me smile and broke my heart.

I loved Carter. Like hardcore.
And Arizona!!! Yesss girl. Rock being you!
It’s a enemies in 4th grade to bffs by 5th grade, life long friends to lovers!
It’s done sooooo well! Plot. Characters. Progression. Angst.
L. O. V. E. D. It!
Highly recommend!
Whitney G.
I really enjoyed this story. It was funny and their interactions with each other were great. I definitely recommend this book.
This Best Friends to Lovers Trope is done a little differently by Whitney G and I loved it! She can make a book uniquely her own like no one else. I started reading and couldn’t put it down until I finished the epilogue with hearts in my eyes.
Carter is dreamy and Arizona’s best friend since childhood (4th grade). They share all their confidences and are always there for each other. I loved this about their relationship. And when one day they finally looked at each other and really saw each other. All the sexual tension. It was glorious! We saw that they loved each way before they even had any idea! And the chemistry, the steam! Hot!
I just adored Carter, how he would go rescue Arizona whenever she needed him. He always had her back. When they both got drunk and tattoos, he got the state of Arizona. When they were older and realized the attraction for each other, both were terrified it would ruin their friendship and denied it for some time. But it was too strong to deny for long.
I loved all the drama in this story. Just enough angst but not too much. Perfectly wonderful! Great Extended Epilogue! Five Perfect STARS!!
A friends to lovers’ story between Carter and Arizona. They knew each other as children – Carter teased and she hated him til they became best friends that stood loyally beside each other no matter what. Although, their relationship is personal and loyal it has always been platonic. Both have serious relationship issues. Carter hasn’t had a relationship longer than a few months and Arizona hides behind her work. Captivating read – loved it.
What a fun, sexy enemies-in-fourth-grade-friends-throughout-the-rest-of-their-lives-to-lovers story!
I had so much fun reading this book. Arizona and Carter were wonderful characters that stole my heart. They were perfect as best friends but holy heck…when they became more, my kindle almost combusted from the intensity.
While this is very light-hearted, it isn’t without angst. It had just enough to drive the story and then BAM! This author really amps it up and I didn’t know how this couple were going to find their happy ever after.
If friends-to-lovers is your catnip, dive in!
I enjoyed Carter story so much. I could actually feel his emotions of pain, love, and his desire.
Whitney has a quick wit, and her writing is so right on. I have almost all of her books and I have never been disappointed. This was a sweet, intense story.
I’m so in love with this amazing author!!!
I fell in with Carter and Arizona, a wonderful and well written friends to lovers romance.
The one thing I would have love, was more of the last few chapters, more of them…
But, this was a great read!
I seriously laughed out loud, said “noooo”, and gasped from the book – so good!

Friends to lovers romances have to be really special for me to love them, and this fabulous, sweet new-adult is just that. The hero & heroine have been best friends since 4th Grade and when they finally discover they’re actually in love, everything goes slightly haywire.
I enjoyed reading this book and will try to read more books by this author.
Never wanted to read it. In fact, it was the only WG book I still had to read. Thank fuck for the freebie.
Don’t ever forget this shit delayed Mister Weston.
Sorry, Whit, I still love you (too), lol.
This is the second time i have read this book, and i actually listened to it and it was so good to get back into Arizona’s and Carter’s world. I love everything about this story i love the best friends to lovers story and i love the way the chapters worked with song titles it was such a perfect and unique way to set it.
I fell in love with both characters, they were so determined to prove to everyone that they could be best friends forever, but when they start to notice each other they try and fight it all thier feelings so they can show people males and females can be friends.
I loved the selflessness of Carter and his loyalty to Arizona but what i loved about Arizona was she was excatly the same with Carter they had he perfect best friend relationship and the whole time i was reading was please don’t stuff this up.
This is one of my favourite bestfriends to lovers book and i love the way the author writes and how enjoyable she made the book. I enjoyed both reading and listening to this book and has always been one of my favorites.
I laughed and cried, it was emotional in some parts but all in all absolutely fantastic books and i can’t wait to get into more of Whitney G’s books
5 best friend Stars for this baby.
“Sincerely, Carter” is the story of Carter and Arizona, two people who met in 4th grade and hated each other at first and then became best friends. Through the book we see how their friendship develops into something more serious and if what they feel for each other will last or their friendship will end forever.
This was a “best friend to lovers” book and had male and female POVs, so we would know what both of the characters thought. I think the characters were nice enough and I really liked Carter and how he thought. Ari was also a nice girl but she sometimes had her head in the clouds too much.
The story starts when Carter and Ari have just graduated and are pursuing the road to their future careers and we see in between chapters how the became friends and how their important moments during their teen years happened (first kiss, first date, etc…).
This is the perfect book for those who want to read a love story with not so much drama and likeable characters.
I loved every minute of reading Carter and Arizona’s story. I honestly wished there was more!
I love Whitney G. to begin with. I think she’s one of the most underrated romance authors out there. I adored this friends-to-lovers story and all the little complications that kept cropping up. Some could have been avoided if they’d only communicated better, but isn’t that real life? Confrontation is hard, ‘fessing up to your feelings and putting your heart out there is hard. I did get choked up toward the end, even though I knew I was guaranteed a happy ending. Great read that’ll have you sighing.
