Amazing!!
WOW! Book 3 is packed with so much action, suspense and hotness! Alexis is developing into an amazing kickass heroine with the most delicious man at her side. I love the development of the six. We get to learn much more about them and their special abilities. These guys are hot and awesome! I absolutely love Bria. I laughed so much with her antics and her brashness! I want to be her when I grow up!
Once again K.F. Breene has written an amazing, nail biting, sexy book. I could not put this one down. Can’t wait to see the MC’s development in the next book.
Things got real interesting.
It just gets better and better.
The crazy journey of Alexis and Kieran doesn’t slow.
This has to be read in order. Honestly you won’t have a clue otherwise.
This journey is one of great learning for them all. These characters have grown and evolved from book one and had to learn to trust themselves and eachother to go up against a greater enemy and they did just that.
Alexis is a force to be reckoned with. She truly is beyond the powers of even that of a demigod and boy does she learn to wreck havoc on anyone who endangers what she considers her. Her strength, confidence and self worth had grown leaps and bounds from the girl in book one and I loved it. She has grown as a character in all the best ways whilst still staying true to who she is deep down. Snark and sarcasm for the win.
Kieron fell for the soul snatcher. He didn’t want to, hell he didn’t even try too but he didn’t fight it either. What started as a quest to free his mother and claim his vengeance became so much more. I love his dominant bossy side because hello alpha hero!!. But that sweet vulnerability he has with Lexie?.. it something sweeter that suger. The man is a dream wrapped up in a delightful package. His journey has been difficult but he has grown and become a better man for it.
I adore all the characters and I just love the whole dysfunctional family vibe they have. The chemistry, the connection.. it’s palpable through the pages. They may not be blood but you feel that connection between them pulsing through the pages. I love the bickering and banter… The protectiveness and the sweet. Everything just felt so right.
This journey and these characters continue to evolve through every book and grow into something even more special. I adore the world this author has created. It’s unpredictable, action packed, suspenseful and emotional. I laughed, ranted and raved through out completely consumed in the story. It’s been a crazy ride so far but I can’t wait to see where it takes me next. Now onto book 4 because I am impatient.
In the third installment of The Demigods of San Francisco, Alexis and Kieran wrap up their current storyline with his father, Valens. In Sin and Salvation, we gain a little insight to Valens’ POV. The way things play out in Sin and Salvation is angsty, dramatic, and full of passion. Alexis steps into her magic more, Daisy takes more initiative, and everyone prepares to fight for their lives. It is currently my favorite of the series so far. It wraps up nicely, but there is definitely more to come for Alexis and Kieran, Daisy and Mordecai, Bria and The Six. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
‘Sin & Salvation’ is book three in K.F. Breene’s Demigods of San Francisco series. This is continues on from ‘Sin & Magic’. This book is told in three POVs, Alexis, Kieran and Valens.
Alexis along with her wards Mordecai and Daisy are going to help Kieran and his Six take down Valens once and for all. But after taking out two of his employees that were keeping souls trapped, Alexis and Kieran must learn to trust and except each other. Alexis will need to get use to Kierans overbearing protectiveness, whilst Kieran will need to release the reins on Alexis and except she will put herself in danger to protect and help the ones she loves.
Oh what a ride this book was, the ups and downs, the emotional roller coaster, the danger, twists and turns and hot steamy oh so scorching s*x scenes *fan self*. This book was seriously such an enjoyable, heart pumping, skin sizzling read.
Alexis’ character growth was exceptional in this book, her ability to adjust and flourish in the most dangerous and unsure situation. She is now starting to stand up to Daisy and Mordecai like she should have from the beginning, I was happy to see her not allowing them to dictate what she should or shouldn’t do. I was over the moon that she finally excepted what was happening between her and Kieran, I feel like it was a long time coming and for them to finally be able to be themselves in front of the others was perfection. *swoon*
Kieran’s character is the most misunderstood and given the most cr*p from the others. But his characters growth was off the charts. He has always be seen as this Demigod with unwavering ways and thoughts and misguided attention, but he has the most to struggles on a daily base. He is so afraid to become his father and treat Alexis like his mother was from Valens. But his heart is all Alexis’.
The most enjoyable thing in this book was being able to see more of the Six and getting to know more about them and their abilities. The mixture of skills, talents and magical abilities is so extreme and unique to each of them. The way these six strong, scary and muscular men interact with Alexis and her wards are what every woman wants in a male. *swoon* settle down my heart…
Mordecai and Daisy (Gremlin) continue to bring light and humour to this story with their bluntness. Their sibling fights are such a bright light in this dark and mysterious story.
So many secrets and revelations are revealed in this book and I am so excited to see what is next for this weird and so perfect “family”.
FYI: recommended for mature readers are there is hot, sexy, and detailed moments between Kieran and Alexis, that will make you blush, tingle and need a change of p*nties.
What a fantastic read, watching Alexis grow into both her magic and her relationship with Kieran. This was just as thrilling as the first two books, and the last half of the book had me completely enraptured until the end. Onto book four!
As Alexis learns how to tap into more of her powers, the battle nears. So much happens in this book it leaves my head spinning! Can’t wait for #4!
This third book will captivate you entirely. It keeps all the humorous, adventurous, and mysterious mood from the previous ones, reassuring how love and friendship are important and that respect comes from them. The story is so well-built that you don’t want to stop it.
Great finish!!! Want more Alexis and Kieran though. This was an action packed book with tons of new developments and characters. I laughed a ton because Alexis, Daisy and Bria are so funny. Loved the ending too. Perfect finish!
This series is so awesome! I loved it! I love happily ever afters!
K.F. Breene has done it again! Sad to see this series end but it was amazing from start to finish!
Loved the author and series
i am a big fan of K.F. Breene, and I do believe this series is my favorite of hers. Be sure to read books one and two first though. They are also excellent.
Hands down a Great Read! Full of page-turning tension, laugh out loud humor/banter between characters and the smoking hot love of a DemiGod. KF Breene does NOT disappoint with this 3rd book in Kieran & Lexi’s story. I didn’t want it to end, yet I wanted these characters to get their HEA. So much potential for future development in this world.
Book 2 left our characters facing an uphill battle that pitted them against a stronger foe, Valens that also had them outnumbered. Lexi’s commitment to both the cause as well as Kieran and facing her fears (of her own magic) is a strong, delightful story arc to read. Kieran’s arc to learn that while our parents did make us and shape us, we are still our own person, in the end. To follow that, being his own self, was awesome to read. Great plot development with good twists and turns to keep you amused. Fun side characters that add to the story and entertainment along the way. Great writing, no typos/grammar or context errors. Another treat of a read, 5 stars all the way!
This series has been an intense journey full of humor, family, and love that keeps you wanting more. The character growth is amazing. I love the chosen family aspect and getting to see the kids grow into themselves has been amazing. I hope to see more of them and the six….maybe in an offshoot series. If you have loved the previous books in the series this one will not dissapoint!!
Absolutely incredible!!!!
K. F. Breene does it again! I read Sin and Chocolate and thought it was amazing and would be the best book in the series. Then I read Sin and Magic and thought it was fantastic and thought it was the best book in the series. Obviously after reading Sin and Salvation my opinion changed again. This book was incredible and my new favorite in the series. I liked learning more about The Six and the family dynamic they all had going on. And the relationship between Alexis and here were times I was smiling ear to ear, gasping out loud, or was in awe. I felt all the feelings! I loved the way the story line progressed and the epilogue made me excited to see a future for this book series. (Maybe 2-10 more books please?!) Sin and Salvation is such a good book and I recommend you read this along with the first two books if you haven’t already. It’s the perfect mix of magic, conflict, and romance and I honestly wouldn’t want it any differently. Get it now! Now!! You won’t regret it!
What an amazing story. I just can’t get enough of this series, and with that ending, I hope the author has plans for more. The characters (Keiran, Alexis, Daisy, Mordecai, Bria, Zorn, Jake, Henry, Thane, Donovan and Bowman) are just phenomenal characters and I really enjoy reading the banter that goes on between them. I really hope there’s more, because I need more of the crazy, fun, intensity that comes from this series.
loved this instalment of this awesome series. Third book in and still captures my imagination. the characterization is dead on and the storyline is off the charts. So can’t wait for the next book to come out to find out what will happen next for Alexis.
I’d give this book more stars if I could. The very first sentence pulled me right in. The story is good, plenty of action well paced and very well edited. What I really love though, are the characters and the dialog. I’m still laughing over some of the things that Daisy (” . . . and plop goes the nuisance. Doneskies.”) says and Bria? (“Been there, done that, stole the purse to prove it.”) Oh my gosh, I could read dialog between her, Daisy, Mordecai and ‘The Six’ all day. I like the romance between the main characters, Lexi and Kieran, but the quirky supporting characters are the icing on the cake for me. If you like magical worlds, good stories and great characters pick up this book! Read the series, you’ll be glad you did.
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. I’m a big fan of KF Breene, but she’s outdone herself this time. Her characters are well rounded; even with their little personality flaws. The first book in the series set the stage, book two built up the suspense, and this third one exceeded all expectations. The main characters just have unique and different powers that not many books have, and they complimented each other very well. Breene has a knack for creating characters that are easy to relate to and addicting to the point that we want to read more and more about them. Although the three book series is “complete” (which tied up the conflict very well I might add), the epilogue definitely let readers know that the story of Alexis Price and her family is not over yet.
My only qualm about her writing style right now is that it’s almost a given that there will be a quiet, sometimes mousey character, a loudmouthed pain in the ass, charge in guns blazing and no planning character, and a strong, proud, domineering male lead. It’s becoming difficult to differentiate some of their personalities sometimes since they’re similar. But those personalities also play off of each other so well which is why it’s still fun to read about their journeys.
That said, out of her last three book series, the Demigods of SF is by far my favorite. As always, I can’t wait to read more! I really wish she was working on additional books in this world, but I guess we’ll have to wait a while for more.
I loved this fast paced story! Alexis, Daisy and Mordecai continue to train, but will it be enough for the showdown with Valens? I love Alexis. She’s smart, sly, protective, brave, loving, has mad skills and a strong desire to live. Who will win the last explosive battle? The odds aren’t in Alexis’ team’s favor, but I’ll continue to root for her side! This book is action-packed, with danger, adventure, magic, necromancers, demigods, shapeshifters, suspense, friendship, battles, romance, humor and more.
