Not your classic vampire story
No this story is way better. Rough and tumble pirates who are vampires. Yummy! The crew of this ship may be cursed, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good men. These pirates live by a code to reach their goal. They work together and along the way I hope they all are able to find the perfect woman for them, like Kane did when he met Hannah. I think you are going to enjoy this book where excitement lurks with every turn of the page. I can’t wait to find out what happens next with these rowdy pirates.
Fab read
I had a hard time putting it down. I can’t wait till the next book to see what happens. This book had it all plus some to where you are on the edge of your seat waiting for what’s next.

Vampires and Pirates OH MY!!! I LOVED this book, it is a different take on vampires with the wonderful spin of pirates. Kane and Hannah are sexy hot together! Her characters are wild, funny, crazy, loyal and romantic. Her story is well crafted and her characters have a great chemistry together. It’s a action packed adventure you will not be disappointed in! It pulled me in and I could not stop until I finished! I will definitely be reading the rest of her series, I can’t wait!!!

I was drawn to the strong female character names Hannah. She was able to show that she was capable of taking care of her self when the men thought she was weak. I like being able to read about a strong female character. It was nice to be introduced to some of the characters that I will be reading about in some of the up coming books in this series.
Honestly, it sounded like an intriguing combination. It still was but I couldn’t really feel the characters somehow. The new take on the vampire myth was intriguing and that’s what kept me reading.
I liked that Hannah grew throughout the book…

This is a plot that I don’t tend to read very often, that of paranormal historical romances and more specifically, vampire pirates. The plot is intriguing, and the author has done a good job with the world building. The characters are likable and the connection between Hannah and Kane isn’t rushed, it takes time and moves at a steady pace. I’m going to assume that with each new book different members of the crew meet their destined mates, I hope so anyway.

First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Wow!!! The story gripped me in it’s web and held me to the end. The only flaw I could find was some grammatical errors. Otherwise it’s a gr8 mix of historical romance and paranormal romance. I love how strong Hannah became throughout this story. And Kane, is the perfect “Sin”. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
I absolutely loved this book. The excitement, betrayal, rescue, terror, magic and suspense is beyond the charts. Kane, in my opinion, is a heartthrob and Hannah is strong, brave and powerful. If only she knew how to wield her power. Her father, on the other hand, is the scum of the earth for a mortal. I love how she befriended most of the crew, even though they are vampires. They have treated her better than she has ever been treated before. I was furious with Kane for sending her back to her father and really thinking he would send her back to England. I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next book. If you enjoy pirates or vampires or magic this book may be right up your alley. I know I have enjoyed every book I have read by this author. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Sins of the Vampire by M. L. Guida is the first book in the Blood Brotherhood Series. This book begins with a pirate ship full of vampires attacking the Dolphin and Hannah and her father being rescued by another pirate ship after jumping into the sea to escape. The pirate Captain Kane O’Brien fights to save the two survivors. Once Kane questions Hannah, he realizes why Captain Palmer wants her and he promises to keep her safe. I loved reading this story unusual pirate vampire romance. It has a very original plot that involves cursed pirates who are vampires and other amazing paranormal characters that include demons, witches, wizards, and gods. This is a compelling story that I was hooked on to the very end. Anyone who loves a great vampire or pirate romance will love this story. Sin of the Vampire is an exciting vampire pirate romance.

The first book in the Blood Brotherhood series and I want to read the next book. Captain Kane O’Brien and Hannah Knight’s story has suspense, drama, danger, evil, a villain, and love. A book I enjoyed reading.
A pirate frigate sped toward them, black flag flapping in the wind, as Hannah watched, feeling something was not right with that ship. The wind moved the pirate’s along quickly while their own sails barely caught a breeze. She and her maid were dressed as cabin boys, hoping her father’s warnings about what happened to women prisoners would not come true. Their cannons fired back, but the pirate ship didn’t even slow down. Hannah’s grandmother’s voice whispered in her mind that she could help them with her power to move objects with her mind. But when a man fell overboard and she used her power to send a rope and fling him back on the deck, her father, the Captain, grabbed her and beat her. He told her to never use her power. But the deck was on fire, so she created a funnel of water to splash over it and put the fire out.
More cannonballs hit the ship and it started to sink. Nose bleeding, she started to raise their mast that had cracked and fell halfway into the water; but another cannonball knocked her onto the deck, breaking her concentration and the mast fell back into the water. The pirates came alongside and boarded, swords raised, as Hannah’s father blames her for their coming deaths. These were no ordinary pirates – their eyes were RED!
Captain Kane O’Brien and his men are under a curse which he is trying to end and save his crew. At the end of the fight on the sinking ship, Kane and his pirate crew rescue Hannah and her father. As she had hoped, he believes her to be a cabin boy. However, when her true gender is discovered, he begins to fall for her. Her father has despicable plans to use her to pay a debt by forcing her to marry an evil man. Will Hannah be forced to comply? Or will her pirate find a way to save her and free his crew from the curse?
This was a very intriguing book, with the descriptions so well done that the reader will feel like they are there in the middle of the battle. There is much going on to draw the reader in and the story line proceeds at an acceptable pace to maintain interest. Grab your copy and see whether there is hope for Hannah and for the pirates in what looks like a hopeless situation!
