Soooooooo gooooood!!!!
I absolutely loved the first book in this series, Sin and Chocolate, and I had a feeling Sin and Magic would be just as great but it was even better than I thought it would be! This series has such an amazing story line and so many different elements that just makes it incredible. First, the main character is hilarious and amazing and I love watching her develop her magic while being her funny self. Then, her wards are amazing and both bring so much to the story without overtaking it. Third, Bria! Yes please! I love her attitude and she is one of my new favorite characters. Then we have the six which were amazing enough in the first book but now that we’re starting to learn more about them I’m falling in love with them and can’t wait to find out the rest of their stories. And last but certainly not least, who doesn’t love a sexy demigod with tons of power?! I cannot wait for the next book and I really hope this series will continue for a while because I need my new addiction, the demigod of San Francisco, and lots of it.
This is the second book in the series and it is phenomenal! Sin & Magic is the best yet from K.F. Breene. If you’re already a fan, you’ll see bits from her other series shining in this new world. All of the characters are fantastic. I love the humor in this one. So much sass and snark. I actually laughed out loud several times. There’s lots of action. All kinds of action. The sense of family and love are growing among the characters. We also have another who I’m sure will be a fan favorite. I can hardly wait for the next installment.
Mmm….Sin & Magic! Such a Delicious story, from start to finish. Kieran is as sexy as ever and getting better, Alexis is amazeballs! I love how her character is growing, not only in her magic, also in her personality and of course her Ward’s Daisy and Mordecai are freaking awesomeness! Oh! And I can’t forget The Six, those guy’s are really starting to grow on me! Getting to know their characters is making this series so much more fantastic!
This book is simply outstanding! The world building is top notch, because it’s coming from the crazy, yet brilliant Ms. Breene, along with the the characters and storyline! I honestly, you’ll never find an author who has such an outgoing and fun imagination that can bring the best stories to life!!!!
This book is outstanding! I loved the story, but the characters and dialog really make the book. This book is the sequel to Sin and Chocolate. Lexi is trying to free the trapped spirit of Kieran’s mother plus several more spirits trapped by Valens. KF Breene adds a crazy character, Bria, to this novel, to help train Lexi to better understand and use her magic. Bria is a hoot! She talks Lexi into dangerous adventures that up the tension and excitement level of the story. There’s still plenty of Mordecai and Daisy, steam with Kieran and a well-paced and very well-edited story with lots of snarky, hysterical dialog. I had to quit reading this at lunch time because I was laughing so hard I was afraid I’d choke! You can read this as a stand-alone, but do yourself a favor and start with the first book in the series to better understand the background of the characters. You won’t regret it!
This is a 5* plus book , we again have all the gang from Sin & Chocolate, Lexi , her kids ,Daisy , Mordecai , Kieran ,the Demigod & his six still on a quest to release the soul of Kieran’s mother from his fathers clutches , only now Lexi is his employee & his six are taking turns cooking the meals each evening . K.F Breene’s characters are the reason these books work so well , you can’t help loving the good one’s & hating the bad guys , sarcastic ,feisty at times scary people that should know when they are beaten but never do & never leave a job unfinished even if the boss tells them too. Lexi is ably assisted & definitely led on by Bria , a necromancer who Kieran was hoping would help Lexi use her gift , sadly for him instead of one woman who doesn’t listen he gets two . The sexual attraction between Lexi & Kieran ramps up to volcano level , not always approved of by her her kids but then a girl wants what she wants. The worst part of this book was finishing it because now i’ve got to wait for the next one .
Wow! What a fantastic addition to an already phenomenal series. Granted it’s only the second book, but what a book 2 it is.
The S&M story was just perfect. I love catching up with all the characters from book 1 and meeting a few new ones. The author has continued to build the world up with amazing detail. This is a unique, original series unlike any I’ve read before. The characters, story line and scenes are developing and written in such detail that it doesn’t take a lot of effort to be able to picture it in your head.
Alexis is still sassy and confident, most of the time, but sometimes she shows her vulnerable side. In the first book, Kieran was shown to be the perfect example of a Demigod; forbidden, sexy, dangerous and full of ego. In book two he is still all of these, but you get a chance to see his softer side as it develops. They are still a match made is Heaven.
I like the kids, sassy, foul-mouthed Daisy and sweet but fierce Mordecai. In book two Mordecai is all healed up and they have both been taken under the wing of The Six, well, all except Zorn, who chose to not join in on training the kids. They are teaching them to fight and protect themselves. Jack is Mordecai’s main trainer, but I won’t tell you the reason. You have to read to discover that on your own. However, something happens with the training later that was unexpected. I can’t wait to see where that goes.
Also, Kieran brought in a new character, Bria, to help train Alexis. Bria is a strange one. She’s crazy and always colors outside the lines. She loves danger, seeks it out pretty much. Excited to see where she winds up. Plus, the revelation about her better half’s identity is one I certainly wasn’t expecting.
Still drooling over the Six. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet for us ladies. Yummy!
My favorite part was all the weird, unique one-liners that the author uses (i.e. Mother-trucker biscuit f%&$#%, just to name one of the many) that had me cracking up. Already adopted some of them. (Thank you to the author for extending my vocabulary.) This go around, I think my favorite part was all the new magical elements that the author added. I just loved it and I can’t wait to see more.
Want to know what I’m talking about? Then make sure you purchase a copy of Sin & Magic by K.F. Breene.
I’m completely hooked on this series and there’s still more to come. I can’t wait to read the next book, Sin & Salvation.

I’m gonna include some of the notes I took, thoughts I had while reading it. Hope you enjoy them!
* Frank is proving to be quite sexist, even when he’s being funny.
* Zorn is one of the most intriguing characters of the bunch, can’t wait to read more about him.
* I’m excited to see where the kids’ training leads.
* Bria is awesome and it’s my first meeting with her. YES!
* Love the convo between Kieran and Alexis about her being late with technology and the little black book. Classic!
* Chemistry + Kieran + Alexis = Off the charts, hot enough to melt metal.
* Love when Bria describes Daisy as a gremlin! ROFL at that moment.
* HOLY S***! Lexi has some serious mojo, scary stuff there.
* I would have tanned some serious a**es for the B&E stunt.
* Still intrigued by The Six. Looking forward to reading more about them. Discovering more of their powers and maybe some background details.
* Phew!!! Some close calls and serious hotness up in the bedroom.
* Elated for Lyra. That scene made me sad and joyful at the same time. Hard not to feel both for all in that moment.
* How Cool! She connected them to one another; body, soul and magic. Sharing is caring! LOL!
* Love the internal GPS bit. Wish I had that sometimes.
* Woohoo! Lexi kicked some necromancer butt! WTG, girl.
* Proud of Lexi. She stood her ground, put her foot down, made the choice for herself. Though, I’m not sure if that makes her brave or stupid. Guess we’ll find out.
* Love that Alexis, Mordecai and Daisy are such a close family. A family that has expanded by 7, 8 if you include the reluctant Kieran.
* Done! I’m so hooked. I’m not sure I have enough patience to wait for the next book.
To sum up KF’s newest release I shall use one word: Amazing!
Book two was utterly amazing! I laughed, I cried, I laughed again, and now I’m just plain d desperate for book 3! I need book 3 like yesterday I’m already having book withdrawals!
If you loved book one then book 2 you will love even more! Same bunch of merry characters (with an awesome few addition mind you) and a whole bunch of mystery and sin mixed in!
We have SEX SCENES PEOPLE! Book 1 didn’t so you must pick up book 2 to see how the story continues! (Thought I’d draw you in with that little disclaimer if that doesn’t draw you in I don’t know what else will. Truly an amazing storyline)
Sin & Magic (Demigod of San Francisco #2) by K.F. Breene is one incredible magical story that I am in love with. It shows why she is a USA TODAY BESTSELLING author, not that she needed that for me to know. I absolutely love, love, love KF’s humour she instills in her characters that have you laughing out loud. With romance and mystery, thrills and spills, danger and suspense, action and intrigue, it has it all and let’s not forget the evil they are trying to fight. It is an amazing journey and the wonderful characters from the first book return and we learn more about them and a new character that knocks your socks off. The chemistry sizzles between Kieran and Alexis and is sweet and sexy that heats up the pages to the point I needed a ciggy after it was over. It is a definite page turner that you just don’t want to end.
No one and I mean no one should ever pass up one of her books and this one is right at the top of the list.
This Is A Power House Of A Book In All The Best Ways!!5 Stars +++
We got to meet the majority of the wonderful, scary, powerful, funny & ghostly characters in Book #1 ‘Sin & Chocolate’. In ‘Sin & Magic’ book #2, we get to meet a few more noteworthy ones & learn much more about the Family unit of Alexis, Mordecai & Daisy then about Demigod Kieran & his Six!!
The Six take to training the kids, as Mordecai is still expecting to be challenged because of his Alpha power level. They also seem to really enjoy the Family atmosphere around the meal times they continue to supply, cook & enjoy together!! They’re all amazed by the non magical & supremely sassy Daisy, who fights hard and very dirty
Kieran teams Lexi up with Bria, a Necromancer, to try to train her magic & to help her in her quest to find his Mother’s Selkie skin. He’s desperate to free his Mother’s spirit from his demented Father’s hold!! Bria is an absolute hoot. Omg she had me gasping with laughter. Her idea of things of being easy or having a plan in place vary in degrees from the most ridiculous to outright crazy! All in the best ways possible for us readers of course. She’s also a hilarious straight talker & a total bad*ss!!
Lexi is learning fast. She’s determined to help find the Selkie skin & thwart Demigod Valens vile & sick hold over his dead wife’s spirit. She refuses to leave a spirit suffering like she is, and had suffered throughout her life!!
Kieran & Lexi draw closer together. Their pull is almost unstoppable! He’s fearful his Father may discover her though!!
This book is a storm of power & emotions. It grabbed me by throat and heart from page one and I still haven’t recovered. The righteousness of the cause, the devotion that grows between both separate groups, the kinship of all involved and the heat between Lexi & Kieran ( phew) it all just leaves you wanting more, more action, more family, more hilarity, just more because it’s that darn good!!
This book is true a Rockstar amongst this genre!! It honestly deserves more than just 5 Stars Completely unmissable!

“Sin & Magic” is the great continuation of Lexi’s & her band of Misfits’ adventures in “Sin & Chocolate”. Reading book 2 of KF Breene’s Demigods of San Francisco series feels right like coming home to good old friends: you reconnect quickly & easily with the characters and their individual journeys. Having read nearly read all of Breene’s work, I got exactly what I expected with this book – funny, gut-busting conversations, charming and wacky characters with heart, hilarious situations, delicious heat, gripping action and a unique, vibrant depiction of a necromancer’s magical abilities. The latter is something, I’d like to point out as it’s a reoccurring tool that never fails to leave an imprint on me. It’s the way the perception of this world is broadened and enhanced by the protagonist’s special abilities. Ms Breene’s spin on a character’s magic/skill and its inner workings draws a vivid, distinctive, original picture in my mind. It gives this world additional exciting layers that also extend to the emotional depth. I’m already looking forward to see how this progresses in the final book.
