They say age doesn’t matter. I could argue that it does. The ten years separating Stella Cruz and I matter a whole hell of a lot. She has a year of college left—two entire semesters to enjoy being the star pitcher of Fulton University—and I have another Cup to win. Hockey leaves no room for anything else, not even someone as incredible as Stella. So, I left her in my bed. Out of sight, out of … … out of … sight. Because I damn sure can’t get her out of my mind.
Everyone says time heals all wounds. That’s a lie. Six months ago, Jason Dagger left me in Boston after one of the best weekends of my life. Shut me down when I tried to reach out. He didn’t call, didn’t text, didn’t even wave at the camera when it panned over to him during one of his hockey games. Nothing … until he shows up at my job one night demanding and sexy.
Jason’s back and he’s not making anything easy for me. I don’t know if I’m happy or mad about it.

It was suppose to be one night of pure hotness between Jason, a pro hockey player and Stella, a college softball player, but the instant connection had them wanting more. This was a great short hot story, that had me hooked from the start. A must read!!
I loved this novella when it was part of the Team Player anthology! Re-reading it with an extended ending just made me love it that much more! The added content surrounding Stella’s pregnancy and the birth of their son just made my heart pitter patter!
Jason and Stella each bring something unique to the story and you root for them to work out the entire read!
This sassy, sexy, humorous novella has all of the key components you love in a romance read. An athletic alpha male lead, a sexy independent heroine and an electric chemistry filled with lust and passion. Then for good measure, throw a baby in the mix! 5 stars!!!!
A hot, professional hockey player & a strong, sexy softball player meet up in Mandi Beck’s Sin Bin.
A chance meeting during a recruiting visit brings Stella Cruz onto NHL player Jason Dagger’s radar. Though there’s 10 years between them, the heat when they come together is hot enough to melt the ice. What’s originally a “one-time” thing, leads to so much more…but in the end, can these two find a way to be together??
Though it may be short, Sin Bin is a well written romance that gave me all the feels!
I loved this book. It is a story about second chances and realizing things that you want out of life that never even showed up on your radar. Jason realizes just what is truly important to him and what he wants when he is hit with the unexpected. He goes after what he wants and isn’t willing to take no for an answer. Stella through a misunderstanding thinks she can only rely on herself and is fine with that until Jason shows back up. He wants answers so she gives him them and she can’t believe what she hears. Both start to realize that what started out as only an attraction turned into something more. This is a must read and Mandi knocked it out of the park with this one.
