Forget apps, websites and singles events – clearly the best way to meet a guy is to move in next door, accidentally assault him and then demand a job at his company. If that kind of charm doesn’t totally knock him off his feet, the next step is to build an army. If possible, try to recruit those closest to the target, such as his mom, sisters and closest friends. Sure, it sounds extreme and maybe … and maybe a little bit crazy, but I’ve always subscribed to the old adage “No one worth having comes willingly.” Okay, I switched out some words there, but you get the point.
Caution: Even the most foolproof plans can have hiccups along the way. I’ve taken the liberty of compiling a list of things you should watch out for: Crazy ex-boyfriends who pop up out of nowhere like an evil jack-in-the box; Women who think a strategic nip slip is effective at landing a boyfriend; Co-workers who think it’s hilarious to prank you at work and then upload the videos to social media.
Still have doubts? No worries. Let this professional show you how it’s done.

Loved the characters. Was a wonderful read, one I will definitely read again in the future.
Simply Crazy – Jaded Series Book 1 by Jenn Hype – 5 Stars
I totally wish that I was BFF’s with Blake – although she’s a fictional character so I guess I will just have to social media stalk Jenn Hype because she writes funny stuff.
Blake is quick and quirky and filter-less when she’s nervous and just that friend that everyone likes upon their first meeting. CJ (Mr. Jade) is a tough as nails, jaded (it’s not just his name), seen too much vet who needs to be shaken up a little.
I have so many highlights from this story that if I shared them with you, I might as well just buy you the book ~hashtag shrug~. This book is light and funny and dark at times and delightful. It’s just a really good book that you should absolutely read.
I look forward to reading future stories in this series and highly recommend it (IDK if you can tell that I loved it from the very vague review).
This is an excellent start to a series! Blake is my soul sister and I gotta say I love the side characters too! This slow burn is so worth the read! Holy Howdy yes!

: 5/5
LOL. Let’s just start with that, because this book had me laughing out loud – A LOT. Blake, she was just so freaking funny (and maybe a little crazy). She is the kind of girl that just blurts out whatever and from the first pages I was hooked and didn’t stop reading until the book was finished. It is a simple romance story, but the characters made it a five start read for me. If you are in for some romance and a lot of laughs, go pick up this book NOW. If I haven’t convinced you to read this book, just read the blurb (it happens to also be one of the funniest blurbs I’ve ever read).

I liked this book… it was funny and entertaining…
I just love Blake and her take no BS attitude. She’s brash and forthright and would give the shirt off her back as needed. She is just what CJ needs in his life, although it takes him a bit to figure that out. For all its humor, this is a pretty intense story as well. A must read.
I have loved all of this author’s book and was sooooo excited to see she had a new book out. She was a few that aren’t RomComs, and I enjoy those, but this author seems to have an amazing sense of humor.
The title of this book totally fit Blake to a T. She was crazy, but in a fun loving, strange, you just want to love her and # kinda way. I wanted to reach into my kindle and just give her a huge hug.
CJ was pretty much her opposite, but it totally worked. He was a yummy hunk of man. I love how we see him slowly change through out the book, but the end, I call dibs! He was perfect.
The plot was a romcom and add in come suspense in the second half! It wasn’t so much that it took away from the romcom aspect but it was enough to make me sit on the edge of my seat not wanting to stop reading.
Overall, I need more! I need the next set of snarky characters to share their pasts and find love. This author has this ability to write with a passion that I can see. I can’t wait to see what else this talented author has in store for us! 5 stars #2OCCJD
Not a romantic comedy and not a lite read. Don’t pick this up thinking this is fluff. War veterans with missing limbs and domestic abuse do not make for a lite read. I only gave it 3 stars because it was not what I expected. Lots of editing errors, too.
annoying main character. you’d like to smack her if you met her. it gets a 2 only because there were a few elements that were slightly different than the usual drivel.
I loved these characters, but the point of view from a veteran’s perspective was informative. Thank you for this character!
I don’t think anything kills a story faster than mud. And this story is just stuck in it. The storyline has a lot of potential. Blake is charming and witty, but could use more of that. The real killer is mud, and mud here is self reflection, as in tons of it. You have paragraphs of self reflection, justification, analysis of self and feelings, that after more than halfway through the book you are just stuck in it. And you can’t get out. So you abort. A witty, funny at times, serious at times, eventually steamy, romantic story must have action to help us move through and between these phases. And this story can’t get traction for all the mud.
A lttle bit twisted
I enjoyed the whimsical nature of this book, though the plot was intriguing . It was a book that kept my intrests’ up. Definitely not a boring book. Not as sexy as it intimates.
As ive said before. I love my filled library
