2 stories about falling for someone who already has lived a life and have their own experiences of being with someone.
The first story is an island holiday romance with a light touch of shifter mixed in.
The second story is a kind of second chance story, where true mates find each other again after both have had other mates.
Intersting topics and brought to life in these stories.
I enjoyed the books a lot, but would have liked the stories a little more detailed

Nice short shifters stories. I loved the book.
-Fifty, Furred, and Fabulous! by Kimberly Forrest. I loved it.
I haven’t read the previous books.
Ginny was married but lost his mate several years ago.
Finally, this year she can go on vacation, and she choose a sunny spot. There she meets Scott, another shifter, and she decides she Santa to enjoy herself with him. It was supposed to be a fling, but she’s fallen in love, and she can’t tell him. She doesn’t want him to give up his dreams for her.
I loved Ginny and Scott, separately, and as a couple. They had funny momentos, and tender.
-Always Her Wolf, by Mary Winter. I loved it.
When they were young, Travis and Stacia were in love. But their alpha forbade their relationship. She went away, with his family, and he stayed, marrying several years later, although not with the alpha pretender, with his daughter.
Almost 30 years have passed and Stacia returns home. She wants to see Travis again. And he, who could not forget her even when he was married, wants to be with her. But he doesn’t want her to give up her job for him. They want to be together, but they don’t know how to express it.
I liked Travis and Stacia, and I loved Carmen.
I recommend it.
I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.
This two book collection has one book I really liked and one that was just so-so for me. The first one by Kimberley Forrest was very good about two older wolf shifters who meet while she is on vacation. Emotional and thoughtful, these two are likeable and I was rooting for them both to have their HEA. The second story was disappointing as the characters seem immature for a “Silver” story. I didn’t connect with them at all. I would recommend this for the first book alone and you might like the second more than I did.

Two very enjoyable reads in one book. Both stories are about getting second chances after living separate lives for years and fate throwing them together.
50, FIT and FABULOUS by Kimberly Forrest has Ginny taking a one-week vacation, her first in years, to celebrate her last week before turning 50. She meets Scott, a retired military man. They end up having a whirlwind week of adventures and making memories to last a life time.
ALWAYS HER WOLF by Mary Winter is a love story that took 25 years to come together.
There is plenty of excitement, emotions, suspense, and surprises in these two heartwarming stories.
So grab your favorite beverage, get comfortable and enjoy.

These are touching heart felt stories revolving around older individuals. They are based upon redeeming love and finding love because sometimes you have to have a second chance to get it right. The characters are dynamic and will have you in their corner cheering them on.

There are two books in this read. Both are Short, sweet, and steamy reads. Ginny and Scott were the perfect couple. They both seemed to enjoy the same things in life and liked adventure. They seem to be on their way to their HEA. A follow- up on their adventures would be nice. In the second read although they are mated, Stacia and Travis must overcome some big previous and current obstacles.

*** Reviewing “FIFTY, FURRED, AND FABULOUS!” by Kimberly Forrest***
Ginny Weller, wearing her strapless bikini, was ready to hit the white sandy beach! The bartender fixed her up with a fruity, delicious alcoholic drink – tiny umbrella included, of course! Then she wandered down to put her feet in the ocean for the first time. As she gazed back to shore, she saw a gorgeous, muscled man taking off his shirt. As if sensing her piercing stare, he looked right at her – just as a huge wave broke over her head and knocked her off her feet! She looked down to find her missing hat and sunglasses, only to notice that she apparently had lost her top as well!
Her hero walked her to her lounger and went to get her a bottle of water. When she pulled out her compact, she let a little squeal that she had seaweed in her hair! What a first impression to make! When he came back, he introduced himself as Scott Sloane, having already discerned that she was a wolf shifter like he was. Since they were both single, Scott offered to show her around and take her to dinner and dancing that evening.
Ginny bought a sexy new dress, perfect for dancing. She had her hair done and was very pleased. Scott was also pleased as stared in awe and told her how amazing she looked. He took her to a small place that mostly locals went to, and he was greeted warmly and teased by everyone there. Ginny was amazed at how friendly everyone was to her. She invited him back to her room and the next morning they went snorkeling where the colorful fish swam right up to them. Her next adventure was a surprise. Scott took her rock climbing! She wasn’t sure about this one, but the whole point of her vacation was to do things she had never done before. This certainly qualified! And the view at the top, once she finally made it there, was worth the effort. She was so proud of herself, and Scott cheered her on.
Mountain biking was next on the list for the following day, but Ginny couldn’t move. She felt like a bus ran over her, while Scott moved fluidly with no ill-effects from their cliff climb. She growled at him. He laughed so hard at her that he collapsed on the bed, especially when her aching arms tried to throw a pillow at him. But after a massage and an easy day, she felt much better. When he offered another surprise, a place they could shift into their wolves and run, she nervously accepted. He told her there were other shifters, natives of the island, a small “nest” of them. She assumed birds, but no, he meant boas! Snakes! Only her trust in him to keep her safe allowed her to step out of the vehicle. And again, he was greeted as a friend and teased by the others. Ginny was stockpiling memories, and this run became her favorite!
He took her on a rafting trip for her last day. She marveled at all the things she would never have seen if she had not met him. When the day was over, she cried. She should tell him how she felt, but she didn’t want to put him on the spot. She was in love with him, but she wouldn’t let him sacrifice his plans to keep her happy. Could she really be that strong? Could she walk away? Would he do the same, without a backward glance?
This book was so good, I felt like I was right there with them, having all those adventures! The writing was excellent, the story line perfectly romantic, and the characters so real and likable. The touches of humor keeps the reader chuckling and enjoying this perfect vacation – and maybe even falling in love too! Don’t miss this one. It truly touches the heart and is written so well. Then take a deep breath and read the other excellent story!
Two very enjoyable reads in one book. I liked seeing the people are an older generation and their stories evolve from their younger years. Lots of excitement, emotions, suspense, surprises and so much more. Heartwarming in many ways. I consider this one to curl up with and get comfortable. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Fifty, Furred, and Fabulous! (Malsum Pass Series) by Kimberly Forrest– A good story. Ginny’s mate had died and Scott had never had a mate. Let the good times roll.
Always Her Wolf by Mary Winter– I don’t understand why Travis’ father would not let they take each other as mates. Then almost force Stacia to leave the pack. After so many years not being around one another to come back now, there will be questions that will have to be though through. I hope that they can come to terms and live happily.
when his mate returns after 20 long years Travis Locke doesn’t know how to be with her because of his past marriage. Ginny Weller returns and finds her mate still sexy but something haunts him and she doesn’t know what or if they can find what they had before.
these 2 people are over 45 and it is so nice to see a book featuring the mature people and how love can come around again.
