Fairy Tales are very literal survival guides. Ignore them at your peril… Luck has been very good to Nate Temple…
Until now.
Nate’s good fortune has turned, catching the attention of a recruiter—the kind of person who offers jobs that can’t be refused…
The kind of job that comes with perks like selling your soul to your new employer. That’s when a wizard tastes real fear—when he learns that all the biggest, baddest monsters actually work for the same guy—and they do so against their will.
Silver Tongue…The nightmare everyone both knows, and doesn’t know…
Lady Luck better have one more good toss of the dice for Nate, or this will be the last game he ever plays. Unless…he can find a way to cheat the House.

I love these books. The Nate Temple series brings fairytales back to life using urban fantasy. These books are full of action, snark, mystery, bullheadedness. It’s a great world and I love living it while I’m reading them!
Silver Tongue : (Book 4 Nate Temple Series) : Shayne Silvers.
Read 08th-13th Feb 2020.
Shayne Silvers’ Silver Tongue…Simply Sensational,
A Supernatural Smorgasbord!!!
The Silver Tongued Devil, Dark Fantasy Author Extraordinare Shayne Silvers Delivers Brilliance In A Book!!!
Nate Temple : A Super Smart, Super Sexy, Super Sneaky, Super Powerful Snark-Filled Shade Slinginging Silver Tongued Prankster & His Lovable Rag Tag Bunch Of Supernatural Freaks Weave Their Magic Worming Their Way Into Your Heart Like Maggots Through Rotted Meat!
Spectacular strategic planning, staging and set up’s are executed flawlessly with precision on a multi faceted front on the battlefield, making this series a bigger name dropper than a woman magazine. One of the best series around & not to be missed.
If you like a sexy anti-hero whose far from perfect, doesn’t always get it right or wins the fight.
Is constantly on the wrong end of a severe beat down, takes the mickey out of everyone, including himself.
Oozes with charm, humor and a witt so sharp its comparable to a razor blade. This Man, This Wizard, This Maker,
not only has the smarts, skills and powers, but he has a big heart too, truly caring for the innocent, the down & out, Freaks & Regulars both, his town, his city & her people.
Shayne Silvers has the uncanny ability to write hit after hit after hit, and Silver Tongue is no exception. Silvers knocks this one right outta the ballpark too!
This author not only cares about his story & characters, but his fans too in a way no other author does!
His motto : Not interacting with readers is the biggest travesty that most authors can make. Let me fix that!
Silvers goes out of his way to be completely & utterly hands on with fans & readers, replying personally, keeping in constant contact via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, emails, newsletters & competions galore, but he goes that one leap further than most authors organising a yearly “Friendsgiving Event”.
‘Friendsgiving’ is a get together in a pre-designated city / state each year, where Silvers’ Facebook Group of (7000+ members worldwide) called The Den of Freaks’ and Shayne himself attend, plus the other authors under his Argenteno Publishing Company.
It’s a week long celebration of all things book related of all 4 of his series.
The 3 Templeverse series, Nate Temple, Fire & Feathers with Callie Penrose, & Phantom Queen Diaries with Quinn MacKenna, co-author with the brilliant Cameron O’Connell, plus there’s now a 4th series, with his latest “Shade of Devil Series’.
And with the new addition of the magnificence of Ms Kimbra Swain to this talented stable of Literacy superstars!
The week consists of fun & games, Nerf Gun wars, Paint Ball War competitions, talks, readings, signings, competions, dress up’s, BBQ’s, dinners & drinks & more, enabling fans up close & personal contact with Shane Silvers & authors and finally getting to meet those they’ve communicated with on facebook in person. It’s more like a giant family reunion than a book signing meet & greet.
I’ve never known another author to celebrate & thank their fans, in the way this man does, Shayne Silvers is definitely in a class all of his own.
I RATE SILVER TONGUE
5 OUT OF 5 !
This is the best damn fantasy series
I’ve read in years & is my new favourite male American author. I bought half this series B4 even reading a single page,
just a few back page synopsis & being part of his Facebook Group Shayne Silvers Den Of Freaks.
I Definitely Recommend This Read
Actually I Say Buy The Whole Series.
It’s In Kindle Unlimited Too.
I bought a copy of this book from Amazon and this is my fair, honest and impartial review as always.

My favorite in the whole series so far! Not as much action as the other books, but I was fine with that because this book felt more like a mystery instead of an intense action book that had your head spinning, with the only coherent thought being, “what the f#$! just happened?” It’s almost like this book was Shayne Silvers taking a breath before jumping back into writing again, because the slower pace of the story is noticeable (but in the best way). After this installment, it’s clear that there’s so much more magic left to be unearthed, but with there being so many characters now in the book, I hope that we get to see more focus on these outside players (Tory, Alucard, Gunnar, Ashley, etc.) Because it would help ground out all of the craziness. We shall see! Excited to continue the series either way.
This time out in Nate Temple’s world, it seems like a whole lot of bad-ass people are looking for the same thing, and they think Nate has it. If Nate thinks that his life is going to slow down and give him a breather, I think he’d better rethink those plans.
This is a non-stop action urban fantasy that is smart, roller coaster ride with great characters and witty dialog. Mr. Silvers brings the mix of the supernatural and all the old fairy tales to life within the pages, but don’t be thinking of the Disney versions. I once said in another review, that these would make a perfect TV series or movies – but I’m not sure that they can get it right – but I’d be first to watch if they did. I’m going to hang out in Nate Temple’s world as long as Mr. Silvers keeps writing them. Reviewed by Cyrene
Just when you think you have these books figured out this one comes along and smacks you in the face.
This fourth book in the Templeverse is great. Ab-Fab!
If you like action packed, laugh out loud stories, buy this series. I have laughed so hard I had to have a box of tissues handy.
It’s punny, funny, great reading from start to stop.
