I read all in the series after I read this one.
I really love this series, Cynthia wright puts a lot of detail, intrigue and hope in her books. She sure knew how to let the romantic sparks start to fly! During the day I couldn’t wait to get off of work and get back to my book and read, it was truly something to look forward to. Thanks!
I enjoyed this book quite a bit. The story was excellent and kept moving. The sex scenes were not too explicit.
This was well-written. I did think the characters argued and were a little over dramatic, but overall, the characters came to life and readers will care about them.
Don’t believe I’ve ever read anything about this author so it would be my first time. I thought the story started off a bit slow detailing her adolescent years and first coming face to face with Raveneau. There, at 13 years she is captivated by a man nearly 30 years of age. There is nothing wrong with this book. The plot is interesting, the characters are okay. I enjoyed the historical perspective which gave information I hadn’t known (I choose to believe it’s accurate), but a little fine tuning might make it a more memorable read.
This book was such a great read, I loved it. The characters absolutely come alive, I didn’t want the story to end.
I liked the story and will read it again.

Good book – loved that the author brought actual history into it.
It was alright but not up to par for Cynthia Wright. It felt like a beginning writer’s work so it might be an early work.
Exciting!
Didn’t finish it too much sex
It was well written, unpredictable in several ways, with a nice ending!
Full of intrigue and action. Hated to put it down and go to bed. I highly recommend this book.
Had me from the start loved the while series
LOVED IT!!
boring – couldn’t finish it.
This story was a bit of a roller coaster for me. I loved Devon from the beginning. She is sweet, a little misguided, and a survivor. Andre was a bit harder for me. He was arrogant with a gentle side when we first met him. As the story progressed, I found him more arrogant and self-centered, and I almost stopped listening. Then I learned of his …
